UFC action figures debut at 100 Fan Expo including Chuck 'Platinum' Liddell
Fans attending the first ever UFC Fan Expo will get a chance to see their favorite fighters enshrined in plastic as JAKKS Pacific debuts its first two waves of action figures during the UFC 100 fan extravaganza.
Included in the series is current UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, middleweight
champion Anderson Silva, former UFC light heavyweight champions Forrest Griffin and Rampage Jackson as well as the man who started it all, Royce Gracie.
Several of the fighters are scheduled to be in attendance to check out their new figures before they hit retail shelves this Fall and are expected to meet and greet with fans at the JAKKS expo booth.
Available for purchase will be a special limited edition platinum Chuck Liddell figure located at the JAKKS booth inside the expo. Sequentially numbered 1:500, the first 250 units will go on sale at 10:00 AM on Friday with the next 250 units available Saturday, also starting at 10:00 AM.
The JAKKS display is located at booth #427 inside the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Bayside Hall B on 3950 Las Vegas Blvd South in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The UFC Fan Expo is a two-day fan exposition of mixed martial arts activities that starts on Friday, July 10.
In addition to the meet and greets with legendary UFC and WEC fighters, MMA demonstrations, fan-inspired special events, training and development sessions, and other exciting opportunities and entertainment, UFC officials plan to enshrine two more of its greatest stars in the Hall of Fame, coinciding with the colossal pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for Saturday, July 11.

Ive seen a few of these, they look kinda cheesy and poorly made. Not that I collect action figures or anything….

Might wanna think about collecting them, this is the time; here in 20 years when the next generation gets into the sport new stars come in, the greats all retire, a Chuck, Wandi or Couture action figure might be worth some good $$$$ at that point.

The Round 5 ones look good until you put them side by side and see that they are all the same size. They don’t make these true to scale like other hobbies do. All round 5 figurines have the same height, shape, size etc…. I guess they believe all MMA people including Gina are the same size and height.

I might add…I’m still waiting for a company to make MMA figures that don’t always have ripped abs and a diesel chest…not that i collect or anything….since when are Nog,Mir and Chuck body builders? Give Chuck a pot belly and skinny arms, not even joking, why not?

Stink-
LOL. I am 34. Not THAT old.
Being in your 30’s is pretty cool.
You get to bang college graduate chicks and avoid the annoying 18-20 y/o bracket or drill the hot cougars.
You get to travel alot because by that time (ideally) you have your sh*t together.
I might pull a Michael Douglas when I get wrinkly:
pop some Viagra, get a hot trophy wife and start manufacturing little OJR’s!

F all you guys! I’m a young 39. Just cuz I like a little geritol after my early bird dinner does NOT mean I’m old.

I collect action figures and I ain’t afraid to admit it! So these look pretty cool to me. Highly articulated figures of my favorite MMA fighters… awesome.
