it been a long time sence ol condit fought, i love wathching that dude brawl, hope he gets a fight soon, same with cantwell. swick vs kampmann would be good but are they really the top two guys right now?

I saw yes they are the top 2 guys ready for a shot, Swick is undefeated at WW as well as Kampman. Kampman beat a top 10 guy in Condit and Swick has been steam rolling all his opponents. Lets look at the division, Alves gets his shot next week, Fitch had his opportunity, Koscheck looks to be a gatekeeper till he can string about 4 wins together. Hughes is basically picking and choosing his fights until he decides to hang it up or until someone wins the belt other than GSP or Alves. Kampman & Swick are the only 2 left that deserve it right now.

What about Rumble, he’s gotta be in the title picture too soon, if he can put together 2-3 more wins.

That will be a year from now at the earliest.

Can anyone tell me the important points of this interview?

I hate to say it because im not really a fan of either fighter, but i cant see any other #1 contender match up right now other than Swick vs. Kampman.

I will say that if Paulo THiago KO’s or submits fitch (cause he cant beat Fitch in a judges decision), he should be included in the next #1 contender fight (but lets not get ahead of ourselves)…but if you ko kos, and Finish Swick, you cant be too far away from fighting for a title.

Rumble is still at least a year away. I really want to see how he matches up with Matt brown.

I really hope to see Condit back in the cage soon. He has a BRAWLER MENTALITY, with world class muy tai and jits to back it up. All Condit needs to do to become a SERIOUS THREAT, is add strength and power. Once he gets stronger he will be a nightmare for most opponents.

Swick said in his recent interview here on mania that he would be willing to fight fitch or kos if it was for title contention or something.

You guys are really sleeping on Swick! He would (T)KO Kampmann somewhere in the 2nd.

keep dreaming JV. I notice that alot of people predict that fighters will finsih a fight in the exact same way their last fight went down. Swick TKO’s Saunders in the second and somehow JV predicts that he will TKO Kampmann in the second, as if it’s the same fight. There are TONS of other examples where internet genius’s predict a fighter to finish the same way as their most recent fight. It shows a huge lack of imagination IMO

JRE, I wasnt even thinking about the Saunders fight. All Im saying is dont sleep on Swick, the guy was very good at MW. Now that hes adjusted to the weight at WW, hes a big threat to anybody! Kampmann fights to Swick’s strenghts so thats why I thought KO. I know Kampmann is legit! But people are really overlooking Swick. Thats all homie, just my humble opinion.

I would say comparing a person who drank beer and a person who drank smirnoff ice, I’d probably have to give the "tough guy (or even just “guy” in general) generalization to the guy who is drinking a beer.

yeah drinking from 15 is pretty normal in the uk…. ok its not legal, but im irish so i drink alcohol like water as i was more or less raised on it :P

tho drinking smirnoff ice is pretty lame, unless u do do turbo shandy’s and mix a bottle in with half a pint of lager

I gotta wonder about some of these guys who say they started drinking at 15 yrs old; yet somehow they get into this phenominal world class athlete shape. I mean by started drinking, does he he mean, tasted a beer? Or got a whiff of some suds in a near empty glass??

Try mixing some Apple Puckers, Crown Royal and a Mikes Hard Cranberry; thats a good drink right there.

I just happen to have those ingredients right here under my desk at work…ahhhhh!!!

dont think we have those here, but we prob have alternate brands, so its like an apple schnapps, some wiskey and cranberry? i think im goin to the shop…back later maniacs :P

- 2 oz whisky (whiskey,bourbon…)
- 2 oz sour apple pucker schnapps
- 2 oz cranberry juice

I sub in the Mikes hard for the regular Cranberry juice cause I like to get my drunk on. But it tastes better with Cranberry juice; that and chicks don’t mind it either cause of the taste. If I had to describe this drink it would be: “Liquid Panty Remover”.

Mix Hennesy and the blue Hypnotic to make an “incredible hulk” (cause it turns out green). Thats another good alchohal/alchohal mix.

Course if you gotta go cheap there’s always Jungle Juice:

Take yourself 2 pints of Everclear and then get a gallon of juice (any kind or assorted kinds, I mixed in grape juice, apple juice, little bit of OJ etc..), get some assorted fruits to throw in and mix all that in a large punch bowl or a bucket or w/e you got.

Tastes good and will kick your @ss; not only that it’s a cheap way to go being that Everclear is like $5.00 a pint and the juice/fruit is only gonna run like $12-$15 bucks. You might spend $25.00, and like 10 ppl can drink off that and all get buzzed pretty good. Eat the fruit at the bottom when you’re done, it can be pretty potent.

Surprisingly the hangover off this one, is pretty damn mild.

I mixed a bottle of Tanguaray Gin with a bottle of Cabernet Savignon wine, that was wierd, but not bad at all; course I was already drunk when I tried this, so just about any drink at that point would probably taste alright…

AND, for the cheapest of the cheap, bottom of the barrell, if you’re locked up in a prison cell this is the way to go:

Make a strong bag by double or triple-bagging some plastic trash bags and knotting the bottoms. Into this, pour warm water, some fruit or fruit juice, raisins or tomatoes, yeast, and as much sugar as you can get ahold of (or powdered drink mix). Now tie off the top of the bag, letting a tube of some kind protrude so the thing won’t explode while it gives off carbon dioxide. Now wait at least three days. A week is enough.

And you have, HOOCH! Careful you can kill yourself with this, I don’t recommend it at all; cause to be real, you can scrounge together like $5.00 in change and go buy a couple 40 oz’s if you got to. But if you wanna screw around with the idea, or you’re just curious go for it, you don’t have to use a trash bag just use an empty 2 liter bottle, cut a little hole in the cap to vent the carbon dioxide.

lol, should get better. At least thats what I’m told… In all honesty I got no clue, this could be the beginning of a downward spiral into oblivion.

Well I’m really curious about why posts get hung up in moderation and you get that delay when it seems like just about anything and everything goes. I don’t know about you guys but I’ve seen some people write some pretty messed up sh!t in a thread. So why bother with the moderation?? Unless it’s just at the discretion of whoevers on duty at the time.
