I didn’t give Atencio much of a hope in this fight so fair play to him, his opponent was pretty gutless though. If you’re going to quit that easily then really this sport isn’t for you. Pretty sad when a promoter shows more heart than a prospective fighter.

yeah this looks like garbage. .. i got a 42" hd plasma and these fights do look like a live stream off the net .. i just paid 29.99 to watch this grainy garbage . IM PISSED.
Its sooo damn blurry even the Time counter looks super LOW RES. its hard to see the numbers of what round it is And this on a 42" TV.
Its soo bad. Each camera seems like it has different Quality . almost like they are using a few different Cameras. Also burtal Commentaters .. Seth petruzli is one of them.

Also this guy is like Lesnar, so you already know people are thinking, "Oh great, another fake wrestling clown with a gay ‘alter ego character WWE style’ kinda attitude hahahaha. the fights have been decent. I did enjoy the T-shirt guy fight.
But the commentating and the announcers are horrible, They should charge the sponsors more money that talk after a fight. The sound is horrible. You here the announcer thumping the mike. check,check,check,check.

Despite the incredibly weak card, there are plenty of finishes, which always makes it exciting. That Yvel knock out reminded me of Soko… BTW, they mentioned a Lashley credential as being ECW champ earlier in the night, that was awesome. I got Lashley by TKO in R1. I can’t overlook the fact that one of Sapp’s losses has been to Jan Nortje.

so Lashey now has a win by cut stoppage, decision, sub choke, and sub strikes. Now he needs a KO and he’ll have a win in just about every way. Would be nice to see a good technical sub like armbar or rear naked choke. Lashey isn’t a BJJ guy but if he can get those skills as well and better stand up, wow.

I realize it could be bad for the sport, but they are both athletes (college wrestlers) and would make huge dollar bills ya’ll. Who is after Mir, assuming Lesnar wins? Velasquez is the only person in the HW division who may (let me stress may) deserve a chance? Unless they are holding off until after TUF 10. Any thoughts?

Yvel is a great striker but he sucks on the ground a Lashley fight could turn out like Yvel against Barnett. Lashley on TUF would be cool.

Way behind? Both college wrestlers. Lesnar is what 3 and 1, Lashley 4 and 0. Lesnar got a title shot after going 1 and 1 in the UFC, after that anything is possible.

You can’t go by the record first of all, Lesnar fought 2 champs and a guy (Hearing) who fought virtually every top guy in the division. Lashley fought cans all 4 fights. His skill level is nowhere near that of Lesnar right now, and it’s evident when you watch him fight.

Not to mention Lesnar wrestling accolades are on a much higher and successful level. Lashley has yet to beat a top ranked opponent at this time. We should get to see him fight a better fighter next and make a better judgement were he is on the ladder beating Sapp isn’t that great, Lashley does have potential let’s see him against a more accomplished fighter now.

Lashley did exactly what he should of. Took no risks, put the big dude on his back, and whooped some ass.
Shitty promotion, decent fights, horrible production quality/everyone involved. The only decent people associated with that company, is the fighters it was lucky enough to pay for one fight.

I thought I forgot about someone, Carwin will/should get his shot soon. He is the only fighter who has a chance, assuming Lesnar walks away with the belt. As for the winner of nog/randy, lets be honest, do either of them really stand a chance against the younger/stronger/more athletic/continuosly learning MMA Lensar??

Agreed with the Carwin/Cain statement (could be a great fight), but the vets getting one more chance? I can think of a couple of people who should have walked away with the respect they had earned, now they just look like old fools fighting only for a paycheck? That statement was only for Randy. Nog should have a couple of good years left, but still don’t think he can compete with the new breed of MMA fighters.

I don’t know about taking on Lesnar but I would like to see him in the UFC. And as for Jonathan and Prokstar I just think the winner of Couture and Nog deserve one more shot. Wether you think they are done are not they earned their chance. Their last losses are to the champion(s).

Big ups to the dude who posted the link to the live free stream of the fight. That really didn’t show us too much. Sapp is a big slow oaf who always bitches out like that. No surprise at all. Tapping out from strikes is the worst, and they weren’t even bad.
