Varner’s the more talented fighter, Cerrone has proved to be the tougher one. It makes me laugh how much Cerrone bashes a fighter who destroyed him but then again it’s Varner, a guy who calls time outs and bails on fights then cries because the fans booed him. Cerrone clearly needs to work on his takedown defence if he is going to be a force at 155 but he has the heart of a champion and that’s something you can’t teach. Whilst Varner is the better fighter now, Cerrone has more potential to be a force in the UFC.

Saying that, Henderson has a great chance to beat Cerrone if he uses his wrestling, this could go like the Varner-Cerrone fight (without the dodgy ending) and all of the talk about a rematch would be pointless. I like Cerrone but this could be a dangerous fight for him.
