That was without a doubt Joes biggest win inside the Octagon, I’m wondering though where he goes from here, maybe a matchup with Guida?

Good point Markie, he maybe the 155 gate keeper kind of like Rich @ 185. Does this make him the #3 contender behind KFlo, and Diego? I would like to see Daddy vs Guida down the road, but I wouldn’t count out Diaz just yet. He will come back pissed and ready to revenge those losses.

Diaz pissed? When is he not pissed (at the world)
The losses for Diaz are (hopefully) humbling. Diaz looked good against the bottom feeders but against the real talent, he looks outclassed…Just like his brother.
Glad to see Joe see the results of his Greg Jackson training. Joe’s is always a class act and puts on a great show. I’m not counting him out yet. He has raw ability and unmatched strength and will improved coaching, he can go a long way still.

One more loss and I may not have to see Diaz in an aired match for a least a year…. Fingers crossed

Nate is going to continue to struggle against to LIghtweight wrestlers until he gets a stronger. He shouldnt train anything other then td defense and strength training! Skills are there, he just needs some muscle! I realize he is tall and if he puts on muscle he probably wont be able to make 55 anymore, but he needs to get STRONGER. Until he increases his strength he wont be able to make that jump from b level (with a ton of talent and potential) to an A-level UFC LIghtweight!

Nate: “Come on Joe get to work bitch!” Joe: “Get off your knee!” (Diaz gets back on his feet) (Joe knees him in the face) Hilarious stuff. Overall a great fight, solid sub attempts by both of them, lots of back and forth on the ground. Not a big fan of either of these guys but it was a great fight.

Biggest win of his career?? No way, that statement gives way too much cred to Nate Diaz.
Joe’s controlling of Diaz on the ground got back to his wrestling roots which must have been part of Greg Jackson’s plan. Good to see Joe change it up a little from some of his recent defeats.

I hated this fight, Joe just layed on him for 3 rounds and did not inflict any damage or do anything really, he just controlled him on the ground for 3 rounds. A very safe win for Joe whom I personally cant stand watching!!!

To the average guy who just wants to see knockouts, sure.
That was a chessmatch between two high level fighters that required a lot of skill and technique.
Maybe Kimbo backyard fights are more up your alley?

I don’t agree Spider. Joe worked him over pretty good the whole fight with punches and knees. Diaz is a tough sumbitch and difficult to finish, but Joe Daddy came close a few times.

i’ve seen lay and pray before and that was not it. it was a solid grappling display. i was impressed by joe and have always pulled for him.
diaz should’ve gotten a clue after the guida fight. he’s now been figured out. solid wrestling and control beats diaz. for nate to be successful moreso, he needs to stay on the outside longer.

It would also help if he was stronger than a 9 year old girl with asthma.

Diaz can still fight, he just needs to lay off the meth.

When daddy had diaz in the bananna splits and was punching him in the face was great.
