I don’t know; I defended him yesterday when they said he was signed to fight at Dream 10; but, after thinking about it; he just fought Saturday. And already signed to fight at Dream 10? In like 4 days?? I could be wrong, and I hope I am, but it doesn’t sound like he was serious about competing in the UFC after all..

From what it looks it’s still a rumor nothing official though!

People who don’t like women’s MMA – 1 request: watch a few seconds of any youtube highlight of Satoko Shinashi or Yuka Tsuji. If you still don’t like it, then you’ll never ever like it and can proclaim so without any gripes from me or others like myself.

well, watching HIGHLIGHTS of womens mma is as far as i’ll take it..i’d say 85-90% of the chicks are whack to watch..it looks sloppy and unskilled for the most part..men are savages and no one would put up with how crude most women make it look, meaning..not alot of accuracy etc etc..call me sexist (and i’m a chick) but womens mma is not interesting.

That’s the thing. People look at things even like Carano-Cyborg as a high point for women’s skills when it’s really not. Both have gaping holes in their games. Girls like megumi, yuka or Miku Matsumoto have technical games that are 10 folds better than a very large majority of men in MMA. Even with guys, MMA sucks when it’s complete scrubs fighting.

RHV, I watch everything from ‘Felony Fights’ to MMA. As for Women’s MMA, they’re lacking in quality and numbers, but as the sport progresses that will slowly change. I luv a good scrap and will watch Carano VS Cyborg, they both have a lot of heart in the cage (not when it comes to making weight) I’m very intrigued by this matchup.

I disrespectfully disagree with kevin, to even imply that this fight should be on the undercard is just dumb I could care less to watch frank shamrock who hasnt won a fight in well over a year

these two women are two of the best female fighters in the world and I cant wait to watch it and Im happy that its the main event watching these two go at it is ganna be non stop action they match up evenly I expect this fight to be the best fight of the night

Wow do we have some newbies here commenting? CBS is probably done with MMA for awhile, Kimbo left a bad taste in their mouth. And also strikeforce has always been on showtime, the real question you should be asking (which has already been asked previously) is why is a WMMA match headlining over two title fights? I know strikeforce is trying to generate some interest here but honestly this is the only womans fight that even matters, what do Gina and Cyborg do next? Fight cans until they rematch each other?

I think making weight is overrated in womens mma. I also think clothes are overrated in womens mma as well. Gloves are necessary though.
