"I was bullied all through high school, where I was never a big guy. I grew and became a big guy. I still have a chip on my shoulder for all those assholes who picked on me and beat me up. If everything goes right, I will be on the second season of Bully Beatdown. What I want to pitch to them is, bring in one or two bullies that bullied me, and what I want to do is take the money -- the ten or twenty thousand dollars you win -- and donate it to charity, I don't need it."
Former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia talks about going back to his high school days to take care of some unfinished business between him and a few callous bullies. "The Maine-iac" is coming off an embarassing ten second KO loss to former Olympic gold medalist and world heavyweight boxing champion Ray Mercer at Adrenaline III: "Bragging Rights" in Birmingham, Ala., on June 13. Sylvia is on a three-fight losing skid and has dropped four of his last five contests. After having his August 1 bout against Paul Buentello at Affliction 3 cancelled it seems Big Tim is going to look elsewhere to keep on fighting.

I think Tim seems like a nice enough guy, and I have nothing against him as a person. I don’t like him as a fighter, but I still don’t understand why he is hated with such venom.

Because he plays his fights safe and his last two fights have lasted a total of 30 seconds. Tim needs to re invent himself or step out of the spotlight. His ground game is horid, his stand up is terrible. Tim is like our American version of Hong Man Choi, he’s good for freakshow fights.

Um, it’s alreasy been confirmed (I believe by Mayhem himself, and others) that the ’bullies" on that show are actors/stuntmen, and the entire thing is completely rigged. WTF are you thinking, Tim? Please get help. :-(

What else can be said about Tim Silvia. He will without a doubt go down in MMA history as having the most awkward looking fighters that ever entered the cage/ring. I bet he scored some hot sluts in Vegas when he was champ though. Sluts are sweet….yeah…..sweet sluts.

Lord, please help this poor woman. We don’t know what afflicts her, but we do know that only you can free her from this blinding obession of the abomination that calls himself Tim Sylvia.
