Very solid card! I’m liking DeMarques and Andre to take it this season.

I have a feeling that Ross and Andre will put on a show, and both be awarded contracts!

has anyone noticed how they are advertising this in the ufc game on the mats and during the replays?

For a free on Spike TUF finale…this is a solid card. 3 past TUF winners in Sanchez, Stevenson, and Diaz.
Its not PPV worthy, but for what it is – this is a solid card.
I’m sure brendan will be the only one not watching it.

UFC 95 – MAIN EVENT – SANCHEZ VS STEVENSON
TUF FINALE – SANCHEZ vs Guida / STEVENSON vs Diaz
Nice to know we get all the big name fighters over for our UK shows!
Seriously that’s rubbing our noses in it! We pay top dollar to see that main event in britain when the same two fighters are headlining a free spike tv card. Shows how highly regarded the Uk fans are for the UFC nowadays.

Wow, you went out on a limb with those 2 picks…

None of the fighters from this season will ever do jack shit in the UFC. And this card was SO much more interesting to me when the AJ/Brown fight was still on.

me too…thank god its free cause other than the main event nothing is really doing it for me here…but hey, I’m not complaining about free fights

Did anyone had the chance to see the new ad of Guida’s making a mean face??Hilarious!
I just can’t remember for which business it was for though!

I’d like to see someone photoshop this picture of Guida to show what he’d look like with short hair…
by TabascoSAUCE on Jun 15, 2009 3:44 PM EDT up reply actions
THQ and Dana offered him money (i think 10 Gs) to cut it for the UFC game becuase they were having trouble with the animation of his hair.

it was probably geico, so easy a caveman can do it

the fight card is decent due to the fact that it is free..but i agree the fighters from this season don’t spark much interest save for 1 or 2..which is not much considering you should find more talent in that many guys.

Lytle is the man, but I would rather see the coke squeezed out of Melvin’s nose by Tibau.
by BNF on Jun 15, 2009 3:13 PM EDT reply actions
agreed…BIG Lytle fan but love watching Melvin lose, throw a tantrum and go on a binge…Tibau shouldn’t have much of a problem imo…
by McArthur on Jun 15, 2009 3:16 PM EDT up reply actions
I’m surprised to only see one undercard fight containing TUF 9 fighters. Goes to show you just how weak this season was.
by ViolentMike on Jun 15, 2009 3:48 PM EDT up reply actions
Im surprised to see tibau burried on the undercard. He is much more promising then Lytle or Burns. He is a young kid, that will be a future title contender. UFC needs to smarten up, and start building him up!
by JOhn G on Jun 15, 2009 4:09 PM EDT up reply actions
But would they want to give Melvin the benifit of being on the Televised part of the card even though he has f*cked up so much. And Glieson needs to get some wins. I still can’t believe that guy makes 55. I wanna know what his walking weight is. To me he is almost the same size as Alves.

Noticing a lot of astericks as well…fights not being signed yet is a bit odd…fights are 5 days away
by McArthur on Jun 15, 2009 3:17 PM EDT reply actions
there was a totaly lack of talent this season, demarcus is the only guy on the show who might have a good run, but i think this replaces tuf 3 as weakest competition to date.

Guillard is going to smash Tibau. Say what you want about his problems outside the cage, but he is a solid fighter. Tibau has never showed me anything that suggests he will beat Melvin. First round KO.
by BadVibes on Jun 15, 2009 3:25 PM EDT reply actions
Bad Vibes, you gotta do some research on Tibau. This is a total mismatch. Gleison takes this fight NO DOUBT, could be the biggest lock of the night.
Have you ever seen Melvin’s ground game? Tibau is a black belt. Melvin LOOKS big, but Tibau IS big. If he does any sort of gameplanning, he will take Melvin down and submit him in 20 seconds, just like any MMA fighter that holds higher than a BJJ white belt.

Rory Markem’s injured and is out of TJ Grant fight this weekend
by McArthur on Jun 15, 2009 4:29 PM EDT up reply actions
I guess the fact that Tibau has good submissions and Melvin could be choked out by Kyle Maynard hasn’t entered your reasoning yet.
by Jeremyjackson on Jun 15, 2009 3:45 PM EDT up reply actions
Do u know who Melvin trains with? THugs outside of his local Crown Fried Chicken….tibau is over at ATT which happens to probably be the best camp in the world…and Tibau might actually be the BIGGEST lightweight in teh UFC, if not…top 3 fore sure! THis kid will be fighting for the UFC title one day, while the only thing Melvin will be fighting is addiction! BURN!!!!!!!
VM: Smoked some Salvia the other night (1st and LAST TIME)…FOCKING INSANE! Thank GOd it only lasts about a minute!
by JOhn G on Jun 15, 2009 4:31 PM EDT up reply actions
I’ve read that Tibau weighs as much as 183 in the cage… ridiculous.
by Jeremyjackson on Jun 15, 2009 4:46 PM EDT up reply actions
John, where were you at the time? Were you home or “out and about”? Salvia is for the home or a festival setting.
by ViolentMike on Jun 15, 2009 5:01 PM EDT up reply actions
JJ: that is ridiculous!
VM: HOme….saw some CRazy Sh*t! i cant believe that stuff is legal. My friend bought it at a head shop…I doubted its effectiveness since I was purchasing it legally…but boy did that stuff WORK!!!! Smoked it about 5 times between 2 days, and I swear every high was like a Trippy NIghtmare…it was wild!
by JOhn G on Jun 15, 2009 5:54 PM EDT up reply actions
Aint it mind blowing that that stuff is LEGAL!!!!! I always got a little bit of it in my nightstand. It is like taking a whole 10 strip of L at once, but you only feel it for like 3 minutes or so (gotta get at least two rips in while you still have control of your brain).
Using a bowl, something usually ends up getting some hot ash on it… Its not wise to sit on a bed while tripping and pass a salvia bowl around.
Been on a L binge lately. Getting another sheet in two days!
Also John G, do you still have my email address? Because I no longer have yours. If you don’t have mine any more, I’ll just post it here in this thread tomorrow during the day. Its 5:00 and I am out!
by ViolentMike on Jun 15, 2009 5:00 PM EDT up reply actions
Guillard hasn’t faced anyone as big as Tibau. For once, he won’t have the size advantage. Should be a good fight.
by MMAMoneyLine on Jun 15, 2009 4:57 PM EDT reply actions
Osipczak vs Lester/Wilks will also be on the card and possibly 1 or 2 other tuf 9 fights.
