wow, if silva looses this fight , hes done. I hope he beats the shit out of franklins school teacher ass. same goes for cro cop, if he looses just fucki retire or never come back to the ufc, stay in japan where you can use steroids. Best fight of the night im looking forward to is , MIKE SWICKs fight fuck yeah!

Dude Mario that is the lamest thing I’ve ever heard. Get fucked buddy. Its way unfair to say he was using steroids in Japan. Hes even bigger now than he was then. He’s just older. It happens.

Cain is going to stand with Kongo for a minute and then take him down and show some even more brutal GnP than Kongo inflicted on Al Turk.
Carwin had his coming out party agaisnt Gabe and this will be Cain’s coming out party, MARK THAT DOWN!
I am hoping and praying for a Wanderlei win, but Rich is tricky. This is the first main event that I may not bet on in a loooooong time.

Wanderlei forearms look sick in that pic. He is ready to kill

I just hope he doesn’t hold his chin like that in the fight. And the term “rape choke” should be forever erased from MMA vernacular.

lighten up JJ.
Did wanderlei take his shirt off at the weigh ins? Curious to see how he looks in his 1st weight cut in a long time.

hey mania, did you ever post the winner of the guy who guessed the comment # and found their first post? another thing, I wish I was in NY, those deals at Johnny Utah’s are great (for those of you who drink). Split a bucket and a bottle for the same price if you all were separately getting the ppv!

I have a feeling that Richs technical striking will frustrate Silva. Although Silva has a punchers chance. I am a big fan of both but I think that Wanderlie needs this more than Rich.

these guys are superstars and BIG ppv DRAWS! Reality is that neither really need this fight. Neither’s job is at risk, and the loser off this fight wont suffer much…the UFC is going to spin it like: This was a catchweight, (if wand loses), wandy can still be a force at middleweight…and if (Rich loses), they will use the same excuse.
Regardless of who wins or lose, we will still continue to see both fighters in BIG FIGHTS!

The more mashed up Wanderlei’s face gets, the more he starts to remind me of Homer Simpson. Especially in pictures in which he’s trying to look serious. Once he gets older and puts on a little weight, the transformation will be complete.

rich looks like he has got a hunchback, maybe he has got the fear
by tez on Jun 12, 2009 4:37 PM EDT reply actions
He’s 2 inches taller than Silva. If he didn’t hunch his back Silva would have had to glare at his chin.

Rich Franklin will get it done for sure with his technical striking, mark that down people. Kongo will beat Cain also and Swick will be too fast for Saunders. These are my bets.

Im pumped up for nearly every fight and more so after watching the weigh-in!!!!!!!!

I’m not sold on Kongo, he hasn’t really beaten anyone with a name, no one impressive anyway(besides Mirko, which went to a decision). Cain is kind of in the same boat but I’d rather see Cain go the distance.

Yeah I still havent gotten over Kongo’s loss to Carmelo Marrero yet. That shit is not excusable.

stares don’t mean anything its all bs just like posturing. What matters is what happens when you fight. Some fighters don’t like starring directly into their opponents eyes because they might have a “meaner stare” or whatever. Some fighters get nervous some don’t. Anything can happen in a fight specially at this level meaning you can get koed really bad on Tv I think any fighter is scarred of that.

by jamie on Jun 12, 2009 10:34 PM EDT reply actions
U are retarded if u think Al-Turk is gonna beat Cro Cop. Cro Cop is back bitches, as is Shogun. 2009 is gonna be a great year for four fighters in particular: Mousasi, Cro Cop, Shogun and Fedor (although which year isn’t great for The Last Emperor).
