Spencer Fisher plans to notify Caol Uno's next of chin

Props: Watch Kalib Run

Quoteworthy:

I want to hit (Uno) in the face really hard ... his chin seems to be suspect and I am saying that out in the open. I don't think he will stand with me very long. I think he will revert to try and take me down and I am going to try and catch him with a knee on the way in and I am going try and knock him out that's my plan. I think his chin is suspect and that's what I am going to try and exploit.

Spencer Fisher drops a few not-so-subtle hints about his gameplan for his upcoming fight with Caol Uno at UFC 99: "The Comeback" on June 13. "The King" is coming into this fight having won two straight -- but will that momentum be enough to spoil the return of the experienced "Uno Shoten" and his allegedly suspect chin? I guess we'll find out soon enough. Who ya' got?

Finally someone who takes the King in his picks!I got him too!
Curious to see how Uno’s will do with his return in the UFC though.

Suspect chin but he’s more than proficient on the feet. Very technical. I am more worried about his cardio since it will be high paced and he tends to gas. Still, i like Uno to give the king his first sub loss RNC late rd 1.

This will be a very close fight as their styles match up really well. I imagine although Uno has good hands that he will be looking for the sub as he has quality subs.

i gotta go with Caol via submission. RNC sounds about right!

I am a fan of the Kong’s…but I dont think he will be able to beat Uno. He talks about his chin being suspect, maybe if you got dynamite in your hands like BJ Penn….

I like Uno! Im betting all the main card dogs except Al Turk, and most of the brits on the undercard!

I’m on the Fisher war wagon here, this is going to be a good one though; I just think Fisher is going to destroy him in the striking.

I think Fisher’s only chance on winning this fight is by KO, but I think that Uno will be able to avoid the knockout, and ride his superior technical skill to victory.

King fisher all the way.
The source’s blog name had me dying laughing.

fisher should be very worried about this fight going to the ground. if it does, it’s an uno win, either by decsion or rear naked choke.

i guess if i were spencer, i’d be talking this way too, with a prayer that maybe uno wouldn’t attempt a takedown because we all know he’s going to get it. fisher’s takedown defense isn’t very good, and not nearly good enough to stop caol at all.

spencer is fun to watch, and it should be one of the best matches of the show while it lasts, but he’s losing this one.

Uno is gonna leave Fisher seeing stars in the first.

Spencers definately a dngerous striker on his feet and on the ground, he has some unusual strikes and mixes it up well, That said I’m going with Uno, maybe out of nostagia, but I just see Uno getting it to te ground and making it hard for The King Fisher

good one fisher. when you want no part of your oponnets ground game, call em out on their feet. taking a page out of marcus davis’ book

Fisher is a better striker and a stronger wrestler. Unless Uno catches him in a sub (and Fisher hasn’t been subbed yet in his pro career) Fisher will win.
