I dont know why some of you guys arent excited by this event…For me, I am much more excited about this event then I was the past strikeforce and WEC events…after all, I missed both those events live…no shjot in hell that I miss watching wanderlei fight live.

YESTERDAY we were discussing the twister submission move. Let me break it down:

I just watched that tool who did the show on the history channel about the different forms of martial arts, Jason Chambers, win a fight via twister.

He did it out of half guard. He held his opponents legs down with his half guard, twisted his opponents body the opposite direction in which his legs were pinned down. He then put his opponent in like a sideways head lock, and twisted his head in the direction that his body was being twisted…opposite direction of where his legs were being pinned too.

Basically its a sort of neck crank

I thought that was illegal? Can’t you break someones neck doing that if their too stubborn to tap (which a lot of these guys are)..

GO watch the WEC fight between Mayhem and Miura (I think the Japanese dudes name was)….Mayhem attempted the twister and Frank MIr commentated on it, so you will at what point Mayhem was attempting it.

Me n Violentmike never forgot about that fight, we talk about it all the time….Mayhem was going for exotic submissions left n right like “TWISTER” and “Splits”…it was a great fight anyway, so go watch it when you get a chance!
