I’m goin with Faber, I think he’ll make the adjustments he needs to make, not get overconfident and fight intelligently. I expect this to turn into a grappling match, cause lets face it, who at 145 lbs wants to trade punch’s with Brown??

Agreed. This one is definitely going to the ground. Just think eventually brown will clip Faber during a scramble. Brown by TKO in the late rounds, or by UD.

I really like Mike Brown, not cocky but confident. He has respect and is just pure class.
I enjoy this guy.

I’m a little confused by all this talk that Brown is the bigger, stronger guy. Faber is every bit as big as Brown, if not bigger. And apparently he’s bulked up for this remtch.

Brown was a competitive LW and look at his power. He shut off Lenny even though Huerta couldn’t finish his gassed ass even after throwing the kitchen sink at him. But more importantly people don’t know how to analyze technical abilities so they resort to simple and superficial reasons i.e your “he’s so explosive or he’s so elusive” which are utterly meaningless in the context of the sport because they say nothing about what is actually happening.

Although I’d prefer to see Faber get Kay the eFf Ode… my mind insists that I bet on Faber, and when you have a mind like mine, you listen to it. ;-)

lets not forget Faber had Brown so hurt with the knee (I think) to the ribs he couldn’t even walk out of the ring on his own!!! Faber got too flashy the first time, he was unstopable at the time, so who can blame him? Faber takes this one via revenge style! Faber is too fast and strong for Brown and he CAN take a punch from Brown despite what people think.

I’m going with brown in this one. There is nothing worse than being a champion, defending your title, and still getting no respect. he’s got a chip on his shoulder and i hope he pulls it out. faber mite be the more complete fiter but i like brown’s patience and strength.

Im gonna go with Faber. Im pretty sure he is going to fight smart and just take it to the ground and pound Brown out. If he keeps it standing it will be short night.

I just rewatched the fight… There wasnt anything that Brown did wrong. He pretty much just went in there and took care of business. He is just as strong as Faber.. if not stronger. If Faber is smart I think this fight will go the distance. Im going with Faber by decision. Hopefully he pounds him out

Calculated vs. Instinct
I don’t think Faber can change his style (that much). Brown will find an opening and capitalize.
Or, Faber will out speed Brown and overwhelm him.
Either way, it’s gonna be awesome.

I look at Machida and some say he is boring and some don’t, but as for intelligence and planning Machida is the best. He is calculated and takes risks only when he can inflict major damage.
Uriah is so talented that he OVER exposes himself and he can still win almost all his fights.
It is interesting to hear Uriah that he fights off of instinct, this is exciting yet it lacks intelligence.
