Yeah I’m a big fan of Wandi, but the biggest thing I love about him is his attitude. NO ONE has the same mentality as him. They may say it that they do, but not to the same level as him. It doesn’t matter if Wandi gets KO’d again here, the UFC isn’t letting him go.

Like Cogito though, I think RIch gets the win. I like this matchup, but I’d also like to see Rich vs Vera or Chuck.

sorry guys…I think Wanderlie is going to abuse Franklin. Rich wont be able to Ko Wand with Punches like Rampage did. Rich’s only hope to end this fight is via kick…but I doubt that will happen. That gives wanderlei 15 minutes to launch an all out agressive Assualt…Rich’s chin CANT possibly hold up against Wanderlei!

def. agree, I think thats why there is not a single person on Mania who isn’t a fan of Wandy. The man never puts on a boring fight win, lose, or draw. I never like seeing him get KO’d because I know the longer the fight lasts the more exciting he’ll make it. I hope to see a three round war between him and Franklin.

I don’t really ever hear anyone who doesn’t like Wnady. I love the guy, but my money is on Rich. I don’t see how anyone could feel negative about Rich either.

I agree. Both are great fighters, but more importantly have WORLD class fighting attitides and approach to fighting. Im actually a fan of both fighters, but I cant see Franklin escaping a Brutal ending at the hands of wanderlei!

Im excited for this match up because i like both guys. But I seriously hate this fight. Both of these guys cant afford another loss, so i guess that’s what make it interesting. The thing that bothers me about this fight is that its at a catch weight at 195, so what does it do to the rankings in 205 or 185 to whoever gets the win and loss ??? Anyway hopefully its a on the edge of your seat fight. Im going with Ace to pull out a win, via Ground n Pound

My thoughts exactly!

Dana should be trying to build WANDY up at 185 and Franklin at 205.

This, tho VERY intruiging, is a dumb match-up business wise, not to mention BOTH are twon of my all time favorite fighters!

WANDY should have been matched with Leben/Quarry and Franklin with T. Silva/Forrest/Jardine/Bohnnar

Both men can catapult off a win here. Its perfect for the winner because they’ll be beating a big name from the weight class they’ll be fighting in. If Wandy beats Franklin I think that should put him in a fight against Yushin, Maia, Marquardt, or the loser of Hendo/Bisping. If Franklin beats Wandy that sould give him any option of big names to fight. Or both fighters could just go into the new weight classes and fight small names and give us some nice KO reels, I can’t argue either way. This fight is a great win for the winner and a just a catch weight fight for the loser so its not to bad for either fighter (so long as they both put up a good fight).

Same. Like both guys but Wand losing would likely put in the Liddell classification of pending retirement…well maybe not, because I doubt anyone could ever tell him he won’t fight again, but if he takes a bad KO, I would say he is done making any type of impact at any weight.

he says he will work Franklins faults or weakness – the clinch which is Wanderlei’s strength yet we are yet to see Wanderlei use his knees in the UFC…for some reason he just wants to go and punch someones head off which is why hes performing terribly!
