For me, if I have to fight, I fight, if I don’t, whatever. The problem is his, he’s already lost once and at the second made this s**t. I don’t know what they’ll do. Honestly, I don’t know, they (FEG) didn’t say anything. I trained three months for this clown to come and do what he did, now I won’t fight in July, not for a while. I’ll take a rest and wait."

Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza provides an update following his middleweight title bout against bitter rival Jason "Mayhem" Miller at DREAM 9 last week. The second outing between the pair was halted early in the first round because of an errant blow from Miller to a downed Souza. The strike carved a deep laceration to Souza’s head, which forced ringside officials to call off the match prematurely because of its severity. The fight was ruled a no contest. Another rematch between the two to determine a more decisive ending seems to be the next logical step; however, it doesn't appear the "Jacare" is thrilled with the idea at this moment after Mayhem's latest in-ring shenanigans.

good post NNR! YOu made a great point that I havent thought of. Maybe Mayhem has already peaked as a fighter. Its possible since I havent seen much improvement out of him in the past couple of years!

I would love to see Mayhem enter Abu Dahbi!

I think you might be right John. I remember when Miller was fighting in SuperBrawl when he fought Egan Inoue. It just doesnt seem like he has gotten any better as a fighter.

JJ: NO way in hell that it wasnt an intentional kick. Just look at Millers eyes when he threw the kick…he was locked in on Jacre’s head as the target. Ruling that a NO contest was a JOKE!
Jacre trained hard and long for that fight…he didnt do ANYTHING illegal. Mayhem kicked him in the head, split him open and Jacre was still adamant about continuing. THe fight was stopped because Mayhem did something illegal…so Jacre should have the title around his waste. Y should he be penalized for Mayhem’s BullSh*t? Jacre should have walked home with the title and they should have just gave Mayhem 1st crack at the title. In all honesty, I would actually make Mayhem win a fight or 2 before getting a crack at Jacre again. Jacre already dominated him in their 1st fight…Mayhem ruined the 2nd fight which he was losing at the time….how many chances should Mayhem get at beating Jacre? WTF!!!!!!!!!!! If you get a million chances at an opponent, eventually you are going to have to get a win….This is mma after all!

I was thinking the same thing. Mayhem blantaly kicked him in the head creating a gash that not only stopped the fight but probably put Jacare out of action for a bit and people are having ago about him bitching. I doubt any of those complaining about Jacare would be taking Mayhem out for a beer after that match if they were on the recieving end of kick like that.It appears that if someone has hate for a fighter, it doesn’t matter wtf his opponent does.

yeah. tons of jacare haters. maybe all the posts are actually mayhem as we all know how he rages out on the web at mma underground. haha. i actually liked jacare calling him a clown. mayhem’s a good fighter. but its a hell of lot of time and training to waste to get in there and act like a fool, or blow a fight by booting the dude the head intentionally (and lets not have any crap about it being an accident. watch the effing clip). its a fight mayhem can win, but he keeps bollocksing it up. he should get his act together.

Justice would be if during the rematch, Jacare snaps Miller’s arm and keeps him out of action for awhile. Not that he’d care too much. He’s obviously more content to host a show on a channel gears towards hysterical high school girls than actually fight. I don’t even care to see arematch. Give Jacare someone who will fight and not look for a way to talk to the media. Besides, the outcome is really no mystery.
