This is going to be a great fight! I will really hate to see anyone of them lose! i like both of them alot as fighter and people. Wandy needs to win to not only solidify that he is contender material, but more importantly that he can still fight at this level of competition. A weight cut for wandy wont necessarily mean he will do better. The MW division is predominantly Strikers division. Unlike the 205 which a vast majority well rounded and the Welterweight by wrestlers.Wandy will be looking to put frankin to sleep in this fight and franklin knows that expect franklin to work the right jab all night and work those leg kicks as well. And I know someones going to bring it up anyway so this is a pre-emptive strike; Yes Wandi said he wants to challenge A. Silva after he stomps all over Rich; but just because he’s saying that doesn’t mean it’s what the UFC will do, so don’t get your panties in a bunch cause when you think about it who DOESN’T want a title fight?? And you can talk about undeserved all you want; it wouldn’t be any different than Forrest getting KO’d by Jardine then coming in and beating Shogun and going straight to a title fight.

Except that the MW division is so thin that one win for a big name is good enough for a title shot. Of course, it’s far from a lock that Wandy beats Ace anyway. Rich is going to stick to a very technical gameplan, pepper Wandy with jabs while avoiding the big strikes, then launch one of his brutal lefts right down the middle when Wandy leaves himself open. Rich TKO in 3.

The MW division is thin? I’d say Marquardt, Henderson, Bisping, Okami, Leites, Silva, Almeida, Maia, Gouveia, Cote, Grove, Belcher, and Kang make it fairly stacked. Thin? Maybe 2-3 years ago, but now its totally loaded. There is already a line up for a title shot (winner of Henderson/Bisping, or Maia/Marquardt, or Okami). My guess is Wandy would have to fight one of them first, unless the marketing angle is too much for the UFC to pass up. But Wanderlei getting a shot because a lack of other potential challengers is not applicable here.

Im really starting to get excited for this event. I love the Main event, but Main events dont really concern me because all of the UFC’s main events are fabulous for the most part. Its an events undercard and the other 4 fights on the main card that I judge an event on….and I am stoked about this entire Main card!

What more can I ask. Rich and Wanderlei will Bang it out in a very exciting fight that will end with Rich taking another trip to the plastic Surgeon.

Hardy is going to continue his rise up the welterweight ranks when he upsets the mOST BORING, self proclaimed “EXCITING FIGHTER” in the UFC.

my boy Ross “THe killa B” Gellar will upset another boring welterweight in Mike Swick and continue his rise up the welterweight ladder.

kongo is going to really test Cain and show us what level Cain is really on in what should be a very entertaining fight between 2 heavy hitters.

i dont know why they are focusing on the match between hardy and Davis and not the match between velasquez and kong . the hardy,Davis rivialy is the stupid thing ive ever heard, hardy is basically jealous of davis because he has lots of english fans than him. i hope davis smashes him because he thinks hes the next world champ after beatin 2 nobodies in the sport

Well the reason they’re not hyping Velasquez may have something to do with his racíst tattoo, people would probably be offended or atleast think “Hey if i had a tattoo like that but with another color then brown i would probably be convicted and sent to jail”

Love Wand, but damn, he just can’t take the big punch like he used to. He could get caught, and fight back, Liddell(alright, he’s old) but hit Wand with some good shots, and Wand kept coming, then Rampage, bam. The shots are catching up.

For Wand to win, an early mauling like Jardine fight, don’t even let Franklin breath.

this is a sick card like has been said but i think this should be noted that on paper looks like an old pride style card. uno vs fisher? like come on cro cop vs al turk? wand vs franklin at 195?? this is going to be amazing. rich franklin is one tough sob but im taking wand in this fight. i know wand is going to be shredded and more comfortable at this lower weight

Starting to have my doubts as well, it’s only 15 days out now and Al Turk was removed from the card on the UFC website, could be wrong but there’s no mention at UFC.com about Cro Cop.
