I really wish the UFC would show all the fights!! I think if we pay $45.00 we should be able to see the under card fights as well. It really pisses me off!!!
by Joe on Jul 15, 2009 12:37 PM EDT up reply actions
They show quite a bit for your money Boxing is 49.99 and you only get 3 fights.
by AdamBomb on Jul 16, 2009 10:27 AM EDT up reply actions
I totally agree, some of the best fights we miss.If I pay all that money I should have every right to watch them as well.I would love to sit there for 5 or 6 hours.

Ace by UD, maybe a TKO

I’ll go with an upset and say Tibau over Sherk
Griffin by decision

Wiman by UD
Herman by Sub
Brilz by UD

LOL, yeah i know. Its cause i’ve never really liked Kos. The only fight that i rooted for him in was the Sanchez-Koscheck fight cause Diego tried to puch Kos off the stage at the weigh-ins.

Im kinda worried in the Franklin-Belfort fight. Rich is a more complete fight than Vitor, but i pray that Vitor wins.
by belfort_fan on Aug 1, 2009 1:36 PM EDT up reply actions
franklin will have no answer for Vitor’s speed

Dan Henderson should be entitled to his rematch with Silva because I feel this time is going to be different. It is going to be round 1 of the last one as well as a great 4 rounds after that as long as silva can take all the punishment
by Big D on Jul 20, 2009 8:26 PM EDT up reply actions
Its 59.99 in Canada. I wish for more fights too.
by Joe on Jul 20, 2009 9:52 PM EDT up reply actions

Okay i want Trigg to win but pry wont. Ill take Griffin. Hopre Kampman wins will be tough though. Miller via Sub.
by belfort_fan on Jun 29, 2009 11:19 PM EDT reply actions
Hmmm… ill have to disagree with some of you this card is shaping up nice so far IMO.. But yea gotta wonder what the main event for this card gna be!!
by JR on Jun 30, 2009 2:52 AM EDT reply actions
With you JR I am SO curious to see who will take the main event. Looks like all the Title fights are all taken up. If liddell doesnt retire, Id say Liddell-Franklin of winner of Coleman/Bonner. Idk cant wait to find out how it goes though!!!!
by belfort_fan on Jun 30, 2009 11:24 PM EDT reply actions
please
this card sucks
there are tons of light heavyweight matchups that could be put together
I just glanced back up at the 4 names for the advertisment, LOL X 1000
good lord
by David on Jul 16, 2009 3:06 PM EDT up reply actions
I feel its safe to say that the main event will suck as well. All of the top fighters will be used up from UFC 100 next week until September. Wanderlei was used last month, Rampage is committed to Rashad, Forest is committed, who can you use?
by Will of Dallas on Jul 3, 2009 6:42 PM EDT reply actions
Liddel, Franklin and Wanderlei come to mind. A three month+ break between fights is enough time off for Rich and Wand.
by Jeremyjackson on Jul 3, 2009 6:46 PM EDT up reply actions
dude give the card at least a main event before you judge it the under card looks very good i think but to the typical fan probably not as good but a bunch of very good key match ups for there weight class
by zack on Jul 5, 2009 7:51 PM EDT reply actions
Exactly – this is a good card with great matchups even the undercard is good – ppl just have no idea what theyre talkin about. Cant we just create an iq test to get a user name on this site it get so annoyed by all the casual fans that are just CLUELESS!
by zeroecho on Jul 20, 2009 8:08 PM EDT up reply actions
give the card a main event before you judge it i think it has a bunch of key match ups that i wanna see paper view or not ill be watching it
by zack on Jul 5, 2009 7:52 PM EDT reply actions
I’d like to see Luiz Cane vs. someone on this card. Not sure where he’s been lately. My first impulse was Luiz Cane vs. Jon Jones. I know Jones has a fight at UFC100 but, maybe he’d be ready. The only inactives at 205 with any kind of name are mainly TUF alum such as: Krzysztof, Ryan Bader, Eliot Marshall, and why not throw Houston Alexander back out there for good measure (inactive and he’s known). Thoughts?
by theTRON on Jul 6, 2009 5:47 PM EDT reply actions
main card will be Rampage vs Evans with a co-main event being Mia vs Marquert (sp?)
by Salatious on Jul 8, 2009 11:57 AM EDT reply actions
With Dos Santos being pulled from 102(I haven’t heard about an injury) maybe the main event will be Cro Cop vs Dos Santos. The news the other day with lorenzo flying to meet cro cop would make it all make sense. That would be a perfect card for free on spike as well.
by sidedish on Jul 8, 2009 6:38 PM EDT reply actions
Do I win something? I really hope that wasn’t posted somewhere else earlier.
by sidedish on Jul 8, 2009 10:21 PM EDT reply actions
Possible main events:
Cane vs Franklin
Wanderlei vs Cote
Dos Santos vs Cro Cop
Sanchez vs Edgar
If any combination of 2 of the fights above get included in this card will turn this card into a very solid one!
Here’s a question for the panel, when will season 10 of TUF finish? What is the projected date for Jackson/Evans?
by figtin on Jul 13, 2009 12:30 AM EDT reply actions
Dude I am right with you I was thinking Franklin vs Cane!
by theTRON on Jul 18, 2009 4:28 PM EDT up reply actions
Pitiful? All fights are close – can’t ask for more. I’m sure you just want big names and hype
by DF on Jul 19, 2009 7:48 PM EDT up reply actions
I love and RESPECT the sport and this is a good card , but coming back to TEXAS needs cro cop and franklin to be for sure not just rumors. Please

This fight card sucks i thought Dana White was trying to draw ppv not push it away to boxing (how r u suppose to keep with mayweather with chumps on the fight card)
by Rolando on Jul 18, 2009 12:47 AM EDT reply actions
Dana is trying to set up Tito vs. Ace for 103. they just recently made up and/or made out.

by jake on Jul 19, 2009 6:07 PM EDT reply actions
This card is getting more and more stacked. Maybe not with the top fighter hype but a lot of these matches are tough to call.
Tito vs Franklin and I’ll rent this one over 101 and 102

I got my tickets!! Real fans will realize that this card is loaded with great fights. The only thing that would make it better would be a belt…
by DTown on Jul 20, 2009 10:11 PM EDT reply actions
real fans: (noun) – those who will watch this event because they enjoy watching mma, and will not only get excited about a title fight.
i think this card looks pretty bad ass and i got my tickets earlier this week. im hella pumped and cant wait to watch ace bring it to 1-1

i also request more fights for our money, i actually think this card has at least 5 or 6 fights id like to see if not a good 90 percent of em. ufc is rippin us

boxing you pay 49.99 and you only get 3 fights so i think were gettin a good deal
by justin on Jul 27, 2009 9:40 AM EDT up reply actions
their is a done of difference between a 45 dollar pay per view buy and being their live, plus car rental, airfare, hotel,
add it up real fans are the ones who make the trip to see them live not just watch it on tv
by bryant on Jul 27, 2009 10:18 AM EDT reply actions
if dana is trying to draw ppv the headline should be franklin/ortiz
by the man on Jul 27, 2009 4:59 PM EDT reply actions
Ortiz won’t be ready, and I’m interested in seeing how good Belfort is against a solid Franklin. A tough test for sure wich may = fighting the winner of the Maia & Nate fight.
by Beaver on Aug 2, 2009 8:23 PM EDT up reply actions
Vitor vs Franklin – this card is so stacked with great fights
by DF on Jul 31, 2009 3:13 PM EDT reply actions
Seems more like a UFN with Tyson Griffin as a main event, as shown on the poster, but that will change.
by DirtbagHtr on Aug 1, 2009 5:17 PM EDT reply actions
13 Fights?!? If I was at the card, that would seriously help make up for the lack of marquee fight. The fact that Sean Sherk is pushed into the undercard shows that there are are some good fights.
Now, if only they show 8+ of these on the pay per view.

no dissing frank but i GOTTA go wit my man KOS.
by audie oddbal on Aug 21, 2009 1:46 AM EDT reply actions
I don’t understand why Vitor is fighting at 205! This should be Hendo vs Belfort at 185. Winner fights Anderson, plain and simple. Franklin should be fighting little Nog.
by Figtin on Aug 22, 2009 12:31 PM EDT reply actions
But, after thinking about it, it’s all about the timing and the need of a main event matchup. It will only be 10 weeks since 100, and Dana practically promised Hendo a rematch, but I think that fighters need to prove themselves more before getting a shot at Anderson. Especially when they already had a shot. I would be much more excited about Anderson’s next title defense being against the winner of Hendo/Belfort, than just Hendo. Then have Maia/Marquart winner fight Okami/Sonnen winner for Anderson’s last title defense at 185. Then he is at 205 permanently.
by Figtin on Aug 22, 2009 12:40 PM EDT reply actions
Did I not almost call that!?! Ace vs Vitor instead of the injured Cane at 195 and Jr vs Cro Cop! Both of those fights are going to be a lot of fun to watch! Then the 2 solid matchups at 170 and a very deep undercard with Escudero, Matyushenko, Marshall and McFedries, not to mention Tyson vs Hermes on the main card! This has to be one of the deepest cards of the year. A close second to 100.
