WOW, Rampage is already into re-runs. I thought he was getting pretty funny, but come up with some new material already.

by UFC Champ on May 28, 2009 2:35 PM EDT reply actions

i like rampage in all but when he was talking about forrest that was just dumb….foresst beat you rampage

by JG on May 28, 2009 2:37 PM EDT up reply actions

MMA Weekly did a poll after that fight and the majority of voters had it as a Rampage win or a draw. Forrest was never the champ.

by Diego Sanchez on May 28, 2009 4:47 PM EDT up reply actions

Rampage was right he beat Forrest on a hurt leg. He knocked Forrest down and Forrest didn’t do any damage when he had full mount on Rampage. That was highway robbery it was almost as bad as when they gave Forrest the Ultimate Fighter win over Bonnar. That fight didn’t sit well either.

by Pierre on May 28, 2009 5:47 PM EDT up reply actions

Agree! The only robbery I have seen that was worse or just as bad was when Bisping robbed Hammill

by SluggerCitySoldier on May 28, 2009 8:33 PM EDT up reply actions

thank you, I was gonna write something similar and figured it would be bash Kevin part 33. I usually like him, but man he just sounds like your typical straight out of the ghetto guy who just got a little money and hasn’t figured out that it’s not a bad thing to start to actually sound like there is something in your head!

by kevin on May 28, 2009 2:42 PM EDT up reply actions

That’s what I thought!! He makes himself look like all he can do his fight, I would be surprised if he could read. He is not role model material.

by Dragon on May 28, 2009 2:57 PM EDT up reply actions

I personally don’t want my son to look up to athlete’s and such, but you look at the other two guys there, and they can talk and sound ok. Coleman is a moron, but he sounds normal! Rashad actual puts a suit on and tries, I’m not a fan, but he tries!

by kevin on May 28, 2009 3:04 PM EDT up reply actions

well maybe it’s because he’s from the streets.. the people that i get annoyed by is the people that tries to be so serious and smart all the time and clanks down on dudes that likes to have some fun and just relax!
Rampage beat Forrest ass and the only reason you say Forrest did is the judges gave him the decision (which was wrong) and because Joe Rogan has Forrest’s balls in his mouth when he’s commentating his fights!

by RoB on May 28, 2009 3:14 PM EDT up reply actions

Evans, and GSP come in suits. I was actually shocked CBJ was kind of humble even thought they brought up the fighting in LV thing.

by UFC Champ on May 28, 2009 3:16 PM EDT up reply actions

you saw BJ being BJ that’s who he is.. people needs to forget about the GSP thing

by RoB on May 28, 2009 3:24 PM EDT up reply actions

rob, hate to break it to you, the judges don’t hear Rogan’s commentary. U can’t comment on this topic, ur not open minded, you like this type of fighter!

by kevin on May 28, 2009 3:26 PM EDT up reply actions

I’ll never forget that….EVER!!!! Alves is next…write that down and remember who told ya kiddies…

by McArthur on May 28, 2009 3:32 PM EDT up reply actions

Rampage is a thug, and by acting that way he is gonna make it appear to be ok, then before we know it we will all be surrounded by ghetto ass thugs. How great would that be? Correct answer: it would suck.

by Dragon on May 28, 2009 3:33 PM EDT up reply actions

Right on Mac WAR St-PIERRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by Dragon on May 28, 2009 3:33 PM EDT up reply actions

You guys need to lighten up. I didn’t see him snatch anyone’s purse or throw any gang signs. He did what he does which is clown around. Geeeeez

by Diceman on May 28, 2009 3:50 PM EDT up reply actions

How can you be so sure he was just “clowning around”? He acts like this all the time, it was funny at first, but now it’s just lame and immature.

by Dragon on May 28, 2009 3:57 PM EDT up reply actions

by Dragon on May 28, 2009 3:57 PM EDT up reply actions

Kevin, I know that man, hate to break it to you but all of the people comin’ on here that saw the fight listened to Joe Rogan go on about how Forrest was winnin and how tight his ground game is when i felt that Rampage should have had the edge on the scorecards… I’m open minded all the time, you may not agree with me but that’s ok..

by RoB on May 28, 2009 3:59 PM EDT up reply actions

I missed watching that fight live. I watched it the next day after a friend said he couldn’t believe who the judges scored for (although he didn’t tell me the result). As I was watching, I saw Forest winning and thought for sure they were going to pick Rampage, to explain my friend’s dismay. Then they picked Forest, and I was like… Okay? I saw him winning (albeit a close fight) and then he won, what’s the big deal?

Of course I have no bias for either of those two fighters, just not a fan. It seems to me that most of the people calling shennanigans are Rampage fans.

Shrug

by Chalkbot on May 28, 2009 4:09 PM EDT up reply actions

Chalkbot you should have watched the fight on mute… Thing about Rampage in that fight was his bodylanguage, he just wasn’t there mentally..

by RoB on May 28, 2009 4:23 PM EDT up reply actions

I don’t really care about either fighter, I had it a draw. yu need to beat the champ out right, but Rampage didn’t win either!

by kevin on May 28, 2009 6:11 PM EDT up reply actions

This entire conversation is lame. Why do people have to have opinions and judge someone for how they are on TV? Just take it for what it is and stop wishing everyone was trying to be the same. Weirdos.

by dave on May 28, 2009 6:19 PM EDT up reply actions

rob, you missed my point, the judges don’t hear the commentary, that was the point you made that I was “debunking.” who you like or not is your thing bro!

cause that’s human nature dave.. everybody comes to this site to express their opinions

by kevin on May 28, 2009 8:30 PM EDT up reply actions

I got your point kevin, I was just saying that alot of fans believes that whatever Joe Rogan says is the truth..

by RoB on May 28, 2009 8:46 PM EDT up reply actions

I agree with that, my point was the judges!

by kevin on May 29, 2009 12:58 AM EDT up reply actions

Rob- When I first saw the fight I was outide of a Hooter’s in Daytona, directly after the Pepsi 400 race. The fight was on a huge screen, but there was no volume due to it being more of a NASCAR day. I watched the fight with about 30 people I did not know. We all gave the fight to Forrest, 3 rounds to 2. It was a close fight, closer than the judges had it, but it was still a win for Forrest.

by naturalshadow on May 29, 2009 6:16 AM EDT up reply actions

RAMPAGE IS BACK OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

by HALEXTITO on May 28, 2009 2:37 PM EDT reply actions

Rampage is going to get his big ass head knocked off by Machinda. He’s too stupid to beat Machida. I like Rampage and think he’s funny as hell, but for the sake of his career, he should duck Machida or fake an injury cause if they fight, Rampage will have no where to go but down from there. Whats likley going to happen is Forest will get his ass kicked by the Spider and Rampage will get KTFO by Machida and Rampage and Forest will get their rematch. No one can challenge Machida. He will hold the title for a long time. I predict Machida will be ranked as one of the top fighters in the world in the next 16 months. He’ll be ranked higher than GSP and Spider and this is according to my rankings of Fedor being #1, Spider #2 and GSP #3.

what did he say?? no sound.

by Ted on May 28, 2009 2:49 PM EDT up reply actions

Damn thats all true though..

by O damn he got caught on May 28, 2009 2:58 PM EDT up reply actions

Stats don’t lie and forrest won straight up.

by Dragon on May 28, 2009 3:02 PM EDT up reply actions

i have always thought page got robbed by forrest, all that he said about that fight was true.

by Blazy J on May 28, 2009 3:13 PM EDT up reply actions

actually the punch / kick totals that night favored Rampage , forget the sight that tallies that shit .. And alot of web pages had Rampage winning …

Stats dont lie im assuming you mean the judges never lie or get it wrong? .. The fact that 2 judges gave Griffin round 1 is enough too show me Rampage had too ko Forrest that night if he wanted too keep his belt , Griffin in Vegas is worse then the Jap’s taking up for their fighters.

by Dayzah on May 28, 2009 3:14 PM EDT up reply actions

and i always thought if the fight was close and could go eighter way, than it went to the champ. you have to beat the champ, not slightly out score him with leg kicks.

by Blazy J on May 28, 2009 3:18 PM EDT up reply actions

yeah had Rampage been the winner of TUF 1 and been in a fight like they Forrest/Bonnar had, then the result would have gone the other way! you have to beat the champion to win the belt and round 1 was as clear of a round you can get, Forrest’s eyes rolled back from that uppercut..

by RoB on May 28, 2009 3:19 PM EDT up reply actions

Rob, maybe it was you being biased when watching the fight and not the judges. They judge fights professionally for a living. I trust their opinions on who won the fight a lot more than yours, particularly when all three agreed on the outcome.

by GregC on May 28, 2009 4:05 PM EDT up reply actions

Yea right; don’t act like Judges don’t make bad decisions; if they always picked the guy that deserved to win you wouldn’t have fighters saying “never leave it to the judges” all the time. I watched that PPV with about 8-10 ppl that night and no one present, even my friends that don’t watch MMA or know a damn thing about it, thought Forrest won that fight; not ONE.

by O damn he got caught on May 28, 2009 4:23 PM EDT up reply actions

Ok first of all i’ve watched the fight and scored it over and over… 2nd of all make up your own mind don’t trust other people just because they do it for a living.. that’s about as stupid as saying a coach makes the right decisions all the time just because that’s his job!

by RoB on May 28, 2009 4:25 PM EDT up reply actions

Regardless of how you saw that fight, I have no reason to think (after seeing them go at it for 5 rounds) that Page would beat Forrest’s *ss on his worst day.

by Jrandolph on May 28, 2009 4:35 PM EDT up reply actions

oh Page did beat Forrest on his worst day, actually Forrest has had alot of luck cause Tito was horribly injured when he fought him and it was same with Shogun when he fought him..

by RoB on May 28, 2009 4:58 PM EDT up reply actions

Yeah, I probably would have given the fight to Rampage if I was a judge. Especially after all the trash I talked about Forrest not having a chance. But fact is, Rampage lost. If you look it up yesterday Rampage lost, if your granchildren look it up 50 years from now he lost. Sounds like rampage might be trying to line up another fight after rashad with anybody other than “The Cheetah”. I think, and thought, Rampage would beat Forrest’s ass, but he didn’t. He decisoned forrest (but didn’t, because of biased know nothing, tuf loving judges. It was no fault of his own).

by James S on May 28, 2009 6:52 PM EDT up reply actions

Next time those two fight, or I should say IF those two fight again; Griffin will be eating canvas.

by O damn he got caught on May 28, 2009 2:49 PM EDT up reply actions

10-4 on that one buddy

by McArthur on May 28, 2009 3:34 PM EDT up reply actions

Well, that’s what Rampage guaranteed in their first fight and it clearly didn’t happen. I saw Griffin winning their fight, as did all three of the judges. And I don’t like fighters making excuses. If you have injuries or can’t train properly then don’t accept the fight. Once you do, and lose, I don’t want to hear any excuses for why you lost.

by GregC on May 28, 2009 4:02 PM EDT up reply actions

Sounds like you just a Griffin fan; too bias toward Forrest to see the truth; even if he did win it so what? He was fighting a gimped up out of shape Rampage; get over it, Forrest is not the fighter that Rampage is; he isn’t good enough to beat Page at 100%, he basically won a fight against Page on his worst night and IMO he didn’t even do that.

by O damn he got caught on May 28, 2009 4:24 PM EDT up reply actions

agreed….he also beat a gimped out, injury ridden Shogun too let us not forget

by McArthur on May 28, 2009 4:34 PM EDT up reply actions

forest won

by hddavidson on May 28, 2009 9:31 PM EDT up reply actions

Way to miss the point ODHGC. I don’t care who you think won. Clearly judging is not an objective thing, and my point was that if you’re going to take a fight then don’t complain and make excuses if you lose. I don’t care whether Rampage was 100% or not, but the fact is that he lost the fight. Even if a lot of people don’t think he should have, the only three people that mattered that night were the judges and they saw Forest win the fight. Suck it up and accept the loss.

by GregC on May 29, 2009 12:46 AM EDT up reply actions

chances of that happening c-war are slim to none, if forest beats rampage again itll be after he destroys his leg again possibly late in the fight or wins by decision.

by VNDK8 on May 28, 2009 2:51 PM EDT reply actions

Yeah I thought the same thing, it is very disrespectful. But page looked like he just came of a coke bender.

by Dragon on May 28, 2009 2:56 PM EDT up reply actions

Rampage can say whatever he wants to say, he’s not the president of the UFC… how you can even come up with something like that is ridiculous people use the word gay all the time.. And it is for a fact a little gay what Rashad does, and that’s the truth!

by RoB on May 28, 2009 3:22 PM EDT up reply actions

totally… wtf? i guess it’s cool for a fighter to say it, but not Dana? gotta love the fan’s/media’s double-standards.

that said, i personally think it should be OK to say it… free speech and all. Gays need to get over themselves, it’s just words. and anyone who uses them only makes themselves out to be morons.

by just some dong on May 28, 2009 3:16 PM EDT up reply actions

Fcking can’t stand Rampage. The bástard should be in jail for what he did but i guess we’ll have to wait until Machida knocks him out cold for some sort of justice.

Rampage seems like the kind of person who could murder someone, and laugh about it the day after, he’s a thug and he’s actually far worse then Evans.

by Green Inferno on May 28, 2009 2:54 PM EDT reply actions

by Jeremyjackson on May 28, 2009 10:38 PM EDT up reply actions

by TheEder on May 28, 2009 2:55 PM EDT reply actions

same that would be AWESOME! Hopefully after Rampage dominates Machida and puts a whooping on Rashad it’ll go down.

by Anthony on May 28, 2009 3:00 PM EDT up reply actions

keep looking then, in order for someone to bully someone he has to catch him first, and Silva is quicker than Machida with his striking and foot work, Machida just has better angles, rampage will get out worked especially if he gets in the clinch its lights out

by ricky on May 28, 2009 3:00 PM EDT up reply actions

agreed, rampage’s career is winding to an end. He eeks out a lame decision against Jardine (who had him rocked a few times) and you think he’ll hang with Silva or Machida? MEH! He didn’t have the belt long and he’ll never hold it again.

by just some dong on May 28, 2009 3:20 PM EDT up reply actions
