Baroni looks bigger than Coleman and he’s in a weight class under him and Coleman also looks like he’s about to quit this drill. Too bad he can’t retire. Kids look at Coleman and Learn your lesson MANAGE YOUR MONEY!!!! Look at Jose Cancesco as well, millions of dollars made during baseball and now he’s in Japan fighting a 7 foot giant with no trainers and only his girlfriend in his corner. All just to make a buck. Pathetic!!!!

Two weight classes under him.

Both those guys used to take steroids together (just a hunch lol), they both have some of the worst cardio in MMA, and they train together?… they should’ve invested in a real camp long time ago… but it’s too late now as they are both at the end of their career.

coleman seems semi-retarted now. i really wish he would retire. his head doesn’t need anymore pounding.

by mikeybear on May 28, 2009 10:19 AM EDT up reply actions

Hey, don’t worry about Coleman… he was dumb before he was fighting MMA.

by DAVE A on May 28, 2009 1:54 PM EDT up reply actions

Ooo baby, gonna get to you giiiiiiirrrrrlllll. lmao!!

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!! Very nice

Looks like Coleman didn’t bother to invest in a real camp with his fight of the night bonus. Baroni may not have a choice, not like he’s won any high profile big $$ fights lately. I’m hoping Phil takes Riggs out, visciously. Coleman, I understand that you need money, but its time to retire and look at some other options.

WAR PHIL

ya…that must be the park across the street from Coleman’s front porch….“Phil, I told ya, this is waaayyyy better than ATT, AKA, Jackson’s, AND BlackHouse put together man!!! We’re both gonna win titles buddy!!!”

by McArthur on May 28, 2009 9:57 AM EDT up reply actions

Trudat and who’d they get as Coleman’s striking coach? Ernest “The Cat” Miller? From mothafuckin’ wrasslin? The same dude who used to teach Eric Bischof’s son before he went into wrestling at a stripmall dojo? WTF????

the caption is actually some hilarious; “cardio machines” haha.

Why is CombatLifestyle.com linking to “Mixed Martial Arts Fighter Fights For Recovery” by KETV & Omaha???

u know what guys ive always been stuck on the way muscle mass effects your cardio.youve got some guys awesome physiques whose cardio sucks baroni/coleman and youve got guys with no physique mr poopy/liddell whose cardio is great.but then youve got guys like couture/gsp whos muscle mass doesnt effect their cardio.i was always under the impression that the more muscle the harder it is for the oxygen to move around a guys body.do we put it down to genes/substances because surely youve got to be seriously fit to get your body fat down that low.

by scott on May 28, 2009 10:09 AM EDT reply actions

dude av been asking that question for ages dosen’t make sence

by ruanfiy on May 28, 2009 10:46 AM EDT up reply actions

it is due to a lot of things – phil baroni and sokoudjou for example who look physcally great and are vey powerful will have a large amount of fast twitch muscle fibres in their body due to genetics and the training types they do (large weights low repititons) and this wil mean they will have low levels of slow twitch muscles which help for prolonged exercise (cardio) and this is why although they are fast and explosive they gas early as they have little slow twitch muscle fibres.

GSP and randy like you mentioned obviously proportion their training between cardio and explosiveness very well – although Randy is more strong than explosive and has good cardio whereas GSP is genetically gifted plus he trains smart as hes explosive, strong and has a good cardiovascular system!

so if baroni and sokoudjou both just put ore effort into their cardio to balance out the fast to slow twitch muscle fibres then they could perform a lot better!

Baroni looks completely shredded in this pic! probably helped by his steroid use and body building career.

by Randy for Couture on May 28, 2009 11:34 AM EDT up reply actions

Well they both sure as hell need the cardio work

by robbyc on May 28, 2009 10:10 AM EDT reply actions

coleman = worst cardio ever.

by lefthook187 on May 28, 2009 10:24 AM EDT reply actions

by hhddavidson on May 28, 2009 12:21 PM EDT up reply actions

To bad there both going to gas! They always gas.

by Bobby on May 28, 2009 10:49 AM EDT reply actions

Yeah, cardio machines. Pretty funny given Coleman’s last outing. He used to be a monster physically. Now he looks kinda ordinary although good for his age. Time to pack it in, Mark.

by sudnvictory on May 28, 2009 11:12 AM EDT reply actions

when your his wonder how youll look

by hhddavidson on May 28, 2009 12:22 PM EDT reply actions
