am I the only one pissed at what Mayhem did? THis a$$ ruined a highly anticipated title fight by trying to illegal kick his opponents head off! He did that crap on purpose. He tried to tee off on jacre’s head…his eyes were locked onto Jacre and he tried to put his head off!
Jacre had been training for the past 8 months for this title fight abd although the fight had just started, he was CLEARLY WINNING> THere have to be consequences for Mayhem’s actions. What Mayhem did shouldnt have cost Jacre the title.
IMO, Jacre should have been awarded the win and the title, and Mayhem should be given an immediate rematch!

This is Mayhem being Mayhem. You either love him or hate him. Very similar to the Diaz’s. You either love them or you hate them. There are many other examples of athletes that are like this. Sometimes I hate them, and sometimes I love them, but I have yet to figure out the determining factor on what makes me love or hate the “cocky, outspoken personalities”. As for Mayhem and the Diaz’s, I love them and they have been among my favorite fighters for years.
What other fighter’s do you guys think fall under this category.

T.O. – I HATE him
Chad Johnson – I enjoy his personality.
Allen Iverson – back in the day, I was not a fan. Once he matured and did he Stephen A. Jackson interview, I began to like him a little
Floyd Mayweather – As most know, I am a BIG Money May fan. Like I always say about Machida, the purpose of a point is to inflict as much damage to your opponent while taking as little damage to yourself as possible. No other boxer has ever been able to do it like Floyd. Bernard Hopkins is/was known for his great defense but he was stil getting hit, just blocking them. With Floyd, they swing and miss, or hit his glove that is right in front of his chin.

Ricky, MTV did not create the “Mayhem” personality. This existed WAAAAAAAAAY before Bully Beatdowns. He was the same person he is today as he was back at UFC 52 when I first seen him fight and became a fan. For his only UFC fight, he got paid $2k to fight GSP coming off a loss. Not an easy task, but he smiled his way thru it while getting GnP’d into a bloody pulp. The dude seemed like he genuinely loved getting punched in the face and I loved it.

I think there is one big word, well not really big only 3 syllables that almost everyone who posted above needs to learn, “sarcasm”
Jason is a good fighter and freaking hilarious. I’m sure his comments about getting tons of action, have huge amounts of money or whatever else he said was just being sarcastic. I’m sure he was just trying to be as big of a dick as he felt Jacare was being to him considering he hit him with a headbutt… but that is just my two cents.

he may be, but I’m sarcastic a lot too and it goes undetected. when words are written on paper (or a screen) they lose the sarcasm that is usually derived from enunciation!

Well kev,you were right about your point!100k/year isn’t that much!But you should know,very well that a lots of peoples here don’t makes that,kind of money and,they would be angry to hear you brags about it.
I know,they should stop crying and try to get a better education in a field that actually pays as much or more.Or even have a little bit of wisdom an find a way to reach that goal!But the truth is,that not every peoples got that opportunity and will of determination to be able,to get it one day!
