That is the biggest crock, greed move by a wealthy company. You pay and EXTRA $50 a month on top of your cable to see UFC, and they try and milk you to pay MORE for prelims…..

That is such a BS move. I think that IF you pay for the PPV, then you should get the prelims for free, PERIOD.

you are an idiot if you think they should be free. You know what you’re paying for when you buy the pay per views. The UFC is a smart business. They kill it with pay per view buys and still sell a lot of DVD’s because you will buy them if you want to see the prelims or pay to see them online. UFC is a business and businesses are not in it to give you what you want for free. Have you ever gone to a restaurant and ordered an entree and expected a free appetizer, drink or dessert? I didn’t think so.

It’s hard to say. Yves saw him go limp for a second and intervened. But just like the last time he looked unsure of whether or not to stop it. I think it was an early stoppage, but I’m not standing in the octagon either. At least now I know why Yves was getting booed later on in the event.

First here is the fight http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i35L4eFMhvQ i got the ring side seat during the fight.
as you can see, Nover did get knocked out for a SeCOND there. He limped and you can see his left arm just went out. Thats when Yves intervene and stopped the fight. Few more punches after that to Nover and He would totally Faint just like in Vegas. He recovered when he moved or Was moved by Bradley as soon as he got some Oxygen. Him being a nurse should know this when he go back and watch the battle over again.
PS. it was not the crowd booing, it was all Nover’s friends!!!

na he went limp for that second and with yves view he reacted when he saw the limping but he shouldnt have hesitated then. you would think that he was right to stop it…but unfortunately it shouldnt have been stopped.

so to conclude i think it shouldnt have been stopped but i dont blame yves lavinge except for the hesitation!

You are idiots for thinking it should be free. You buy the pay per view knowing you don’t get to see the prelims. If they show them for free they will not sell as many dvd’s of the events. UFC is a business and a smart one. When was the last time you saw someone buy a boxing event dvd? Exactly and that is why the UFC will be around forever unlike other venues.

Not a bad stoppage at all. It was questionable at the time, but video replay vindicates Yves’s decision to stop the fight. Nover was flash KO’d. You can see he goes limp for a few seconds before coming back into consciousness. I think it was a good call, though a tad late if anything, like he hesitated, but in the end I think Nover was out, if even for a slight moment.

Pre Lims should be aired, Dream, sengoku and others all televise the entire card. just because its big name fighters doesnt mean they r going to be good fights. Some of the best fights could very well show on the undercard. SUPERHULK TOURNY DREAM 9 – should be epic – in my opinion could be better fight card then the ufc 98 for entertainment value,, a bit of a freak show but thats always fun, followed up by world class fights and fighters including kid and mayham (tool but great fighter)
