Don’t pay a dime. Sit in the corner and creep everyone out, sipping port wine like it’s Kool Aid … just like Jesse.

This is what people say when their wives don’t let them out after dark. And don’t listen to the haters who can’t stand that I have a refined palate.

You can’t be drinkin no wine in a bar with a mechanical bull in it! Drink some TEN HI WHISKEY boy, it comes in a plastic bottle which means it puts hair on your chest!
And that’s the bottom line, cause Stone Cold said so!
GIMME A HELL YEA!

Alright thats the end of my Stone Cold tirade… for today.. I can’t guarantee he won’t be back; during times of extreme boredom, things get a little wierd over here..

What’s with the booze and energy drinks at the same time fad?
I’ll buy a plane ticket if Jesse agrees to ride the bull on maximum difficulty. I love NY.

Don’t know about you guys but I enjoy watching MMA alone….worst thing ever is to be around uneducated fans who scream at the screen when the fight hits the ground….
by Robert(1) on May 21, 2009 3:46 PM EDT reply actions
Exactly Robert. I’ll pay the ppv fee myself and not have to put up with any other voices while watching it. Except of course my brother-in-law, but he’s cool and doesn’t say much.
by Adam T. on May 21, 2009 3:52 PM EDT up reply actions
Um, yeah, but how are you going to pick up drunk sluts after the fights if you’re at home? Get with the program boys, and don’t tell me you’re happy with your wife or girlfriend, because that makes me feel bad about myself!
;-)
by Jeremyjackson on May 21, 2009 3:58 PM EDT up reply actions
thats what my wife is for!
I agree, I watched the christmas event in san diego and some douche screamed (I thought it was a woman but it wasn’t ) EVERYTIME a punch landed…cleanly or not! It sucked!
by kevin on May 21, 2009 4:01 PM EDT up reply actions
I don’t get it, Kevin… how is your wife good for picking up drunk sluts? Seems to me she’d just get in the way!
by Jeremyjackson on May 21, 2009 4:20 PM EDT up reply actions
Not as bad as the time I had a UFC party at my house. I only had about 8 people there- one of whom fell asleep during Liddell/Wandy! I was so pissed.
by DSmith on May 21, 2009 4:24 PM EDT up reply actions
How could you fall asleep during Liddell/Wandi, thats impossible…
by O damn he got caught on May 21, 2009 4:33 PM EDT up reply actions
Yeah man, that’s grounds for immediate dismissal. Unless Rip Van Winkle is a hot lady… in which case sleep away, I’ll be right back with the KY and a digital camera.

You’d think it was impossible but no. I took pics of him sleeping all girly like and showed everybody at work the next morning, kicking him out wasn’t enough.

I let a mate watch David Haye’s debut at HW round mine, as he doesn’t have Setanta, on the condition that he watched UFC 91 with me, as I hate boxing almost as much as he hates MMA so we both agreed to give something that we didn’t like a chance. After the Haye fight he fell asleep before the UFC came on and slept right through the whole PPV. Not only did he miss the MMA card of the year but what’s worse is that he had the cheek to complain about me making too much noise when Lesnar KO’d Randy.

$4 dollar drafts? Damn!!!
by El Mexicutioner, formerly The Mexicutioner on May 21, 2009 3:51 PM EDT reply actions
Cheap for NYC standards. Free fights are nice.
by MMAmania on May 21, 2009 3:55 PM EDT up reply actions
man, I remember when I could get 50 cent drafts. 10 bucks to be bombed! now 10 bucks is 2 beers…and that’ s good. glad I don’t drink anymore!
by kevin on May 21, 2009 4:02 PM EDT up reply actions
50 cent drafts…what are you like 60 years old…
by McArthur on May 21, 2009 4:07 PM EDT up reply actions
lol, you guys are s.o.l here in Hastings they have $1.00 beer nights at some of the bars, their the bottled beers too. Course there isn’t a damn thing out here, which probably explains the price, but I can take $20 into a bar get drunk and leave a tip, cheapest night out ever.
by Stone Cold Steve Austin on May 21, 2009 4:11 PM EDT up reply actions
lol, nah Roy the cost of living here is just dirt cheap, I went out one night, had dinner, drank like 12 beers a couple shots and left a decent tip at 2-3 different bars; I only spent about $40 for the night.
by O damn he got caught on May 21, 2009 4:17 PM EDT up reply actions
50 cent drafts sounds like fucking civil war era drinking to me. What, did that come with free parking for your horse and buggy?
by Jeremyjackson on May 21, 2009 4:33 PM EDT up reply actions
lol, almost 32! dollar drafts were the norm, but I do remember 50 cent. I remember a gallon of gas under a dollar too!
by kevin on May 21, 2009 4:34 PM EDT up reply actions
What the hell do I know about the price of drinks anyway? I can’t remember the last time I paid for one. Lol!

by DSmith on May 21, 2009 4:45 PM EDT up reply actions
when I was 17, my buddy pumped gas (99 cents), and he’d fill us up for free!

I bought 1.75 liter bottle of Crown Royal yesterday; went way overboard, this morning was absolutley horrid; this work day has dragged serious @ss; thank you to Alpha and McArthur and of course MMAMania and especially Stone Cold Steve Austin for helping me pass the time.

by DSmith on May 21, 2009 5:19 PM EDT up reply actions
Lemme guess, Kevin… girls buy you drinks all the time, and they all make Gina Carano look like Margaret Thatcher.
Word of advice, old pal… if you’re gonna front like that, don’t offer a link on your screen name that has pictures of you in it!
LOL, j/k bud.
by Jeremyjackson on May 21, 2009 5:31 PM EDT up reply actions
Lol! If I were a man I’d want to be Kevin. The rest of you are losers.
by DSmith on May 21, 2009 5:49 PM EDT up reply actions
you want to talk about cheap night outs. Im heading over to DRexel/U Penn local bar. $5 cover, 50 cent drinks all night….not that cheap alcohol either, the good stuff!

2. I’ve never had a problem getting women
3. I don’t make up any stories
4. don’t go killing yourself bro, I’m married, you got a shot now!
Dsmith, not trying to one up anyone, my bad! Just adding to the stories!
by kevin on May 21, 2009 6:00 PM EDT up reply actions
Damn, I didn’t think it got much cheaper than out here; price like that they can’t run all week, thats gotta be some happy hour/one day a week sh!t; either way awesome deal, you figure .50 cent drinks is actually cheaper than going to the LQ and buyin a 12 pk
by O damn he got caught on May 21, 2009 6:14 PM EDT up reply actions
I remember the days of “sink or swim” nights. 5 or 10 dollar cover, all the beer and well drinks you want all night long!

All this talk of 50 cent drinks makes me sad. We get ripped off where I’m from. But hell, it’s not as bad as Norway $14 for a beer!!!Wtf.
by RobH86 on May 21, 2009 7:43 PM EDT up reply actions
Beer here is also 50cents to a bottle. And it’s not just any beer, it’s Red Horse Beer, makes bud and coors seem like water due to it’s alcohol content. it’s so legendary, that the German beer guzzlers comin’ over here are already looking for it once they land…Pretty strong stuff.
