Those were some serious bitch-slaps by Inoki. What an asshole. Machida should have hit him back.
I kind of find it hard to believe that wasn’t staged. This is Japan we’re talking about, after all.

I just got 3:03 min of footage an i didn’t see Inoki’s slaps.But i post it the other day and i’ll say,like you…I would have knock his tooth out!

The guy does that all the time; it’s kind of his thing, I’m sure he knew it was coming; at one of the pride shows he slapped like 8-10 fighters in the ring for some kind of “half time” show. Some people like hand shakes, some people like slappin folks..

I watched th video and didnt really see where the bitch slapping thing occurred, but whatever!
I watche dthe countdown show last night. and my Jaw was on the floor watching how athletic and explosive Machida is. THat training he was doing where he was running, in and out of tires, and throwing kicks, was just amazing!

Looking very much forward to this.. i was just watching this while watching the laker game and was interrupted when Jeff Van Gundy called Kobe Bryant the greatest laker ever!! WHAT?? Magic, Shaq, West, Jabbar.. im still in shock.. thats like saying Evans is the greatest lightweight fighter ever. DAH!!

I would love to see Hughes knock Serra out with a spinning back fist, just like Shoney Carter did. That seems to be Serra’s weakest link, because he can’t see it coming with his big mouth open so wide.

What would make that designation even more ludicrous is the fact that Evans has never fought at lightweight, and would have to train in Ethiopia to have any chance of ever fighting there.
