Smith needs to sharpen up her style. Disapointed Kerry spent every round back stepping. Wonder how much her “famous” last name had on judge scoring.

You are a moron! Her last name had nothing to do with the scoring. She totally dominated the fight. You must not know the sport very well if you actually watched the fight and feel that way! The judge that had the fight 29-28 is a moron just like you!

i didnt think vera ‘dominated’.. i thought the first 2 rounds were very close.

if i was scoring the fight, i would give vera the nod..

she won the all the rounds~ but almost lost the second..

if vera didnt get that knock down in rounnd 2, she would have lost the round.

also~ the first round was really close..

i thought the fight was decided in the 3rd round~ and vera definitely won rnd3.

~ very close and entertaining bout.. i enjoyed~

that statement sounds like tito after his fight with machida..

tito was complaing that all machida did was back-step.

meanwhile tito’s face looked like it was dragged on cement.

Vera was clearly winning every round, she landed and won every exchange with much cleaner combinations.. It doesn’t matter if you’re coming forward if the only thing your doing is eating leather!..

Regardless of what smiths face looks like doesn’t take away from the fact that she was the one constantly moving forward in every round while vera was backing away.

I just thought it would have been nice to see her be more agressive and be the one pursuing. I don’t see how you cannot see it either. I think smith’s face being more beat up is because she was the more agressive and showed no real worry about defense, which is why I said she should clean up her style.

I agree Vera was dominating the fight which made me wonder why at no time did she start pushing the pace instead of merely being reactionary.

Vera’s footwork was so redundant and predictable, a good opponent would’ve began to time her footwork.

But leslie was just flat footed. She was doing that weird Jardine hop too every once in a while. Also very disappointing to see leg kicks like that.

I quote one of the commentators " whats not to like, two girls beating the c**p out of each other ". And you hear these smaller promoters bitching and moaning about not getting near UFC’s level. Just a thought, maybe its stupid numbskull retard comments like this broadcast on TV whats supposed to be championing “martial arts”. As long as Bellator have commentators like this, I HOPE they fail BADLY!

I watched this video twice. NOT one time did they tell us the weight class they fight in. ONCE, only after they mentioned Carano and Cyborg, they said that Vera fights under 140(I think it is 135).

They conpare her as possibly the best in women’s mma. THat is what is so messed up about female mma. MOST are ignorant to all the fighters.

What about Tara Larosa?? What about Carano amnd Cyborg more fit for fighting at 145, IF NOT higher. I would be shocked if Carano can make anything under 150 thesedays(her weight looks a bit heavy lately). Then there is others like Roxanne Modaferri, as well as MANY OTHERS. Sucks that ANY fighter that makes it on tv is all of a sudden ONE OF THE BEST WOMEN’S MMA of all time….While there are MANY that are better that, for some reason or another cant get signed or the exposure they deserve.(Maybe they dont look as good as Carano). And that is fucked up.
