Each of the 16 mixed martial artists set to compete on tomorrow night’s Bellator VI card at the Central Pavilion Arena at Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds in Robstown, Texas, tipped the scales earlier today for the official fighter weigh-ins.
It was a rather low-key event, but the stakes at Bellator VI could not be any higher with the featherweight tournament semifinal match ups set to go off and $50,000 paydays on the line for the winners.
In the night's main event, former Elite XC 145-pound standout Wilson Reis will mix it up with undefeated All-American wrestler Joe "The Hammer" Soto. On the other side of the bracket, Estevan "El Terrible" Payan -- who missed the 145-pound division limit by more than three pounds -- will challenge Yahir Reyes to earn a berth in the tournament final, which will take place some time in the next six weeks.
