HOpefully he kicks hammils head into the nose bleed section of the Wachovia center!
HOw about those Philly Eagles? Macklin fell into our laps in the 1st round and then we get Pitt Running back Mccoy in the second round!
Eagles Offense is starting to look really good on paper!

HOw about them Patriots Kev! My Eagles just committed Grand Larceny on your Pats! Eagles acquired 25 year old, stud corner back, Ellis HObbs for 2 measly 5th round draft pics. It was a pleasure doing business with you guys Kevin. lol Talk about a steal!
OUr cornerbacks are now:
1)Former Pat stud, Assante Samuel!
2)Former Pat stud, Ellis HObbs!
3)Sheldon “the hitman” Brown
4) Joeselio Hansen, a young stud who is improving my leaps and bounds every single day.
We have one of the best young saftey’s in the NFL, Quintin Mikkell. My only concern is the other saftey spot…2nd year, unproven, Quintin Demps.
Not to mention: we lost our 2 Hall of Fame tackles to old age, and replaced them with Shawn Andrews brother Stacy, and Shawn Andrews college roomate, Jason Peters, who happens to only b 27 years old and the best Left tackle in football! We now have one of the top 5 offensive lines in football, that will be great for at least the next 5 years.
McNabb has weapons: Westbrrok, young stud…Lesean McCoy from Pitt. Widerecievers: Kevin Curtis, DeSean Jackson (best young reciever in the league, and his rookie Clone, Mr. Macklin! Brent Celek is becoming a helluva player…this will only be his second year!
Lets not forget we boast one of the best D-lines, and young linebacking corps in the league!
Who the Fock want what? n where they want it at?

Hammil is gonna get kicked! Vera’s the only striker around who can deal with Anderson’s and Bones’ strikes…As for American football, whatever happened to the Raiders? They’re like the only american football team that people here know about. They’re the “normal” people though, hehe!

I don’t think he’s that cool. He needs to perform in his next fight.

I’ve always thought Vera is a douche, but I like him as a fighter when he lets his hands and feet go. He will take Hamill to school standing up.

Yeah, well he should be adjusted now to his new weight class. We should see what power he has left in this fight.

I’ve always liked Vera. I hope he does well in his MMA career.

how old is this vid, cause he talks about dropping down from heavy to light to win both titles!
by jslim on Apr 26, 2009 9:52 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
yeh i have the same Q as jslim, i reckon this must have been a while ago based on him saying that, but then again he has his lean 205 look going on, when he fought at HW he was much more pudgy

it seems like he doesn’t really have the crazy drive to become a champ but just wants to make $$$. It’s funny b/c for his last fite he only make 30k and i guess they reworked his contract b/c he was making 100k before.
I doubt he’ll ever win the lhw title at this point

I’m glad he got a pay cut because he has looked bad in 4 of his last 5 fights. And he’s too cocky. One good win against Patt and he said he was top 5 and he’ll be punishing people hyping himself up again. I’ll be rooting for Hamill.

if he wins agenst hamil, i would love to see vera vs shogun, i think it would be just the fight to motivate the truth, and shoguns cardio would be tested. both are great kick boxers and, have good ground games as well. My money is on hamil to dry hump him to death, but if vera can keep it standing he should win.

I feel bad for Hammil. He can not handle a strong striker like Vera. I like Hammil a lot, but think he is gonna get the shit kicked out of him. It will look even worse because of hammil’s ability to take punishment.
We all seen what Franklin did to him, and he is a good striker, and Vera is even better. And if Hammil FINALLY decides to use his wresling, Vera will BJJ his ass
by fightfan on Apr 26, 2009 2:27 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
And the irony here is that Hammill will keep the fight standing because he doesn’t wanna be labeled as a “dry-humper”[which would translate to suicide in the octagon]. Poor Hammill. On 2nd thought, if Hammill just hugs Vera, then poor Vera.

brandon vera is a turd. His personality sucks. He always makes excuses about his fight. He came into the UFC thinking it was going to be a cake walk. Vera is a turd.

Wow…you guys are really wiered. Seriously,Brandon Vera is the truth and soon he will change your mind. As a heavyweight,he destroyed most his competition, and he was a small guy compared to them guys. The only loss that was worth saying something about him,was the lost to big bum Tim Sylvia. In LHeavyweight,he was gettin used to this weight, give him a break. Jardine is the only real loss he has. Vera will be champ soon.
by mmasmartass on Apr 27, 2009 5:57 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
so you admit he lost to a bum? first you say thats his only real loss, then you say jardine is the only real loss. news flash…they are all losses. he looked good in his last fight against that punching bag, but I would not say he is going to be a champ soon…
