I have had this game since Sunday (downloaded it off megaupload) and it is AMAZINGLY good. I have done about 30 fights, with a few decisions, one submission (where I let it happen) and the rest KOs. Submissions are difficult because Shogun has great offense, but Chuck has amazing submission defence on the game.
My only decisions are when I have TRIED to go the distance.
Stand up is good, clinch is OK, ground is great. I havnt really got the hang of clinch yet.
My only nuisance is that leg kicks dont do much. I was Shogun and spent the vast majority of the fight focusing on leg kicks ala Jardine, but it made no difference.

Are the deciscions correct you think?
Ive done about 150 matches or so and have tried too go the distance but some bs always happens late in the 3rd , like a super man punch from Chuck or a Head kick from Shogun …

I have been playing this since Saturday, and this game is nuts. There are a couple of things to complain about, there are way too many one punch knockouts, and if you are very active in guard you are still stood up. But that is 2 problems I have with the game out of over 100 incredible things. When I was chuck I would take Shogun down and pound on his ribs, when the fight stood back up I would kick his ribs, take him down, and pound his ribs again, about one round of this, you see the largest red mark on both ribs of Shogun, leading to a rib kick and punches to finish the fight once and for all. I thought that was truely a awesome feature to this game.
Overall, I give it an A- and I am pumped to get my game on the 19th.

I think if you pre order the game from a certain store then you can get a special code to get the demo off xbox marketplace 1 week early. Not sure what store but I saw it mentioned in the comments on youtube (videos of the demo)

Ive had it since Sat aswell , can get it on newsgroups for the 360 …
Ive prolly done about 150 fights being either of the 2 fighters and have never gone too a deciscion … Even when I try too go too a deciscion by laying and praying I usually do enough dmg that when its stood up 1 shot will end it …. Especially in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
So thats my only cmoplaint about the demo , too many 1 shot ko’s..

I preordered it for Gamestop and the next day they called me and told me the demo was available like MoonUK said. I haven’t got it yet. I have been to busy but I cant wait to play this it is going to be sick. I wonder how the “Create a Fighter” aspects are. That is a big deal to me in most sports games.

The demo has really impressed me. If you’re only a casual gamer you will have fun with the knockouts. If you spend more time with it, you will have all kinds of options, like catching a leg for a take down, flying armbars, rubber guard.
I wish they would allow fighters to fight out of weight class, though. nate diaz vs brock lesnar? even if it wasn’t part of the online mode, it would be funny as hell to do with a friend.

This game is amazing. For those of you wondering how ppl are playing the demo already, if you preordered from Gamestop, you got a code to get the demo early. It comes with Shogun and Chuck. And its awesome, I’ve done over a hundred fights I bet. And I’m addicted, thats just with two fighters, cant wait for over 80, gonna be great.

i cant wait to play online, dude, how the eff do you get rubber guard, i was only able to pull it once. also, combos are sick, and stuffing the takedown w a knee is sick. there are these bruises your guy gets from taking too much damage in one spot. blood. gnp. flying knees. giant overhand right. superman punch. ankle picks. i just wet my pants. i recommend buying some sort of hand protecting glove.

word, ive been playing all day and figured it out, hah, thanks tho. ive really been liking using chuck, getting the takedown mounting and using the gnp. the more i play the more i see myself mimicking the actual person om playing as. with chuck i stay back and wait to counter with big overhand rights or use the high kicks when shoguns guard is down, and w shogun i use the high kicks to get myself in and go for the clinch and try and keep chuck there long enough to get in some huge knees then go for the takedown and work for better position until i can kimura his ass.

I have been playing since Saturday as well.(Thanks Gamestop!) Joey 1.0 is right. THIS GAME IS ADDICTIVE!! Control wise, it is a little complicated, but once you get the hang of it, it is solid. If you play with the computer, good luck getting a submission. I have played over 100 matches and I only have gotten in 4 submissions. If you play Rua, the clinches are killer. When on the ground, transitioning from a rubber guard to a triangle is a thing of beauty. Liddell is pretty solid as well. He can KO you at any second. Sound is off the hook. The crowd is dead on. Commentary is ok, but pretty repetitive. I’m not a fan of the ref action, but it is minor.

Howd you get 4 subs, ive played soo many times, and like 20 or so times all i did was go 4 subs, n ive still only got one, n that was against my friend, ive never submitted the computer, i love the game but they make the subs too hard, and the kos are way too easy, it gets boring

ive played a downloaded version of the demo, so sick, shoguns awesome on the ground, but chuck can just knock you out at any time. i cant wait to get all the characters!!!!

I got mine off the net , it was for the 360.. You basically burn it too a cd/dvd and play it thru the arcade menu.
Havent heard anything about a ps3 version out yet , but then again I sold mine.

Man Cuck is all about the stand up and full mount ground and pound. Showgun is all about the ground game and he is the one with all the bad ass submissions. Whoevert put that first comment is a retard. Sowgun has the north south choke, ruber gard to triangle, standing armbar…i mean so many other moves that are submissions than chuck!….wow
