Kingdom MMA weigh in results for 'Miller vs. Hose'

Kingdom MMA -- the latest creation from former SuperBrawl and Icon Sport founder T. Jay Thompson -- is now set to stage its first-ever show from the Blaisdell Center Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii, later on this evening (April 18) now that the official weigh-ins are in the books.

Main event participants, Jason "Mayhem" Miller and Kala Hose, have been given the green light to compete after each hitting the 185-pound mark. "Mayhem," however, came in a half-pound heavy and needed additional time to shed the weight.

This is an interesting battle between two former Icon Sport champions and island rivals -- both fighters are eager to stake their claims on Hawaii bragging rights. The rest of the card has been packed with local-area talent looking to breakthrough and emerge as future stars.

Here are the complete Kingdom MMA weigh in results:

Star-divide

185 lbs.: Kala "Kolohe" Hose (185) vs. Jason "Mayhem" Miller (185)
155 lbs.: Brandon Pieper (154.8) vs. Ricky "Hoku" Wallace (153.6)
Pisa "Ata" Tivao (208) vs. Tasi Edwards (220)
185 lbs.: Geno Venti (185.6) vs. Sale Sproat (184.6)
170 lbs.: L. John Borges (162.4) vs. Andres Cohea (170.2)
155 lbs.: Tommy Tuiloma (154.4) vs. Dejuan Hathaway (152.6)
155 lbs.: Elijah Manners (153.2) vs. Trey Corrales ()
145 lbs.: Paul Lopez (144.2) vs. Rob Anduha (145.6)
170 lbs.: Bernard Beroti (164) vs. Nathan Haring (170.6)

Note: Fighters are allowed to weigh one pound more than the division limit in non-title fights.

For those fans fortunate enough to be in the "Aloha State" today (Saturday, April 18), remember that the doors to the Blaisdell Center Arena open at 6:30 p.m. local time and the first fight starts at 7:30 p.m. All others should keep in mind that the under card portion of the event will be streamed live on BJPenn.com, beginning at 10:30 p.m. PT.

MMAmania.com will pass along the latest "Kingdom MMA" results as soon as possible.

The final preparations and setup are underway.

wait….this fight is tonight? Who is the genius that booked this event the same day as UFC 97?

I am a big Mayhem fan….Everyone keep their fingers crossed that Mayhem will win this fight and take minimal damage and come out of this fight injury free so that he can Challenge Jacre at next months DREAM event for the DREAM LHW title that MOusassi vacated now that he is fighting at lHW!

Jacre vs. Mayhem 2 is a match up that is light years ahead of Mayhem vs. Kala “we dont love them hoe’s” hose! so it is really important that Mayhem gets out of this fight unscathed!

John I am a Mayhem fan but I am also from Hawaii and we love Kala over here is very deadly and got some hands but his ground game is not that great but I can gurentee that if Mayhem doesnt get him down he will be KTFO!!

But i would love to see Mayhem Jacre way more then this fight.

Also The rest of the fighters arent much but off the street bum’s.

I wonder if this fight be scripted and be using stunt men, like it came that “Bully Beatdown” does.

it’s funny to see Mayhem try to be a TV personality…it looks like he’s trying way too hard.

They love him in Japan for mugging it up in the ring. He’s naturally a very entertaining guy and a great fighter.
I think Bully Beatdown would be better if they found childhood bullys and do the show with them. I find it hard to believe that adults are beating other adults without getting the police involved. Havent heard the stunt man rumor.
