The MMA community says goodbye to 'Mask' at April 14 memorial service (Pic)

The mixed martial arts community gathered today (April 14) for a memorial service held at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California to honor Charles ‘Mask’ Lewis Jr., founder of the popular multi-million dollar MMA clothing line and television show TapouT.
The service "Simply Believe: A Celebration of Charles ‘Mask’ Lewis Jr." was not only a farewell, but a celebration of a life that passed too soon after a fatal car wreck on March 11.

F*ck man…I cant believe hes gone like that. it seems sureal at this point. A definte blow to MMA specially just having seen them last month on the news as a rag to riches rag tag mma fans.I hope that guy get life. not only for what he did to mask, but the obvious repeated offenses of DUI and hurting people before. Just goes to show only to good face the edge of the sword of justice while the evil can get away with a flawed system.

Mask was a guy that laid it on the line and believed in the sport of MMA, he rolled the dice and came out a winner! IMO he went out as a Legendary Promoter of MMA. I hope TAPOUT and his partners continue on with his dream.

off topic but i tried posting the video of fedor on sports science anyone happen to see it? its amazing it was to see who choked harder fedor or a python and fedor won by a land slide. he created 500 pounds of force with the python only creating 40.

I guess, my thing is, I don’t ant to offend anyone too bad! I truly like and respect 99% of you guys and could tell I offended some of you! While my outlook on life/death may differ than yours, the last thing I want to do is offend ANYONE! It’s why I would never attack anyone’s family (but none of you would put yourself out there like I do)!

Kevin, Its good to hear you say that man I have always respected your MMA knowledge and I apologizing for being a dick when I first read those comments. Sometimes I need to just chill out, and recognize a joke is a joke. Not everyones sense of humor is the same.Your a good dude, and I know you respected Mask just as much as the rest of the MMA community.

No one on this site has bumped heads with Kevin more then me….but I will say Kevin is a good dude. He doesnt mean to offend anyone. He is very opinionated but when he really offends someone, he has no problem apologizing and admitting that he is wrong and I respect that!
