WAR MONSTER!

but i think he is the biggest waste of all talent of all time. he has explosiveness like no other but never took time to develop his game, its kind of sad really. imagine what he couldve done to fedor if he had some sub defence wow!

by Jared on Apr 13, 2009 11:57 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

What?

Nobody could do anything harmful to Fedor. You could shoot Fedor in the head twice with a .45 at point blank range and he would just throw a nasty overhand right and put you in an armbar.

I certainly would, because I love the penis.

by john on Apr 14, 2009 1:56 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Wow, john, I always took you for a ladies man. I had no idea you play for the other team.

by RedDog on Apr 14, 2009 5:12 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

yOU know that wasnt me! Damn right Im a ladies man! “PopCorn Playa” (lol how high reference).

I think Jared wrote great post. Randleman is one of the biggest wastes of talent in the history of mma. THe guy could have been great….i think the fact that he never left coleman and the hammerhouse gym, really held him back and stunted his growth as an mma fighter! Its really a shame because he has GSP-ish athleticism.

Because Randleman never evolved, and is basically still just a wrestler after all these years fighting in mma….I think his skill sets are best suited for Japan, when he can use knees to a grounded opponent. He is basically just a wrestler….so not being able to use knees on the ground, really limits his arsenal when fighting in America!

I still think he is a solid addition to strikeforce’s roster.
Anyone know where I can watch a video of Randleman vs. Bas for the UFC title? I still dont think I ever got a chance to see that fight, because pre-zuffa dvd’s arent released!

I would love to be able to purchase UFC dvd’s pre Zuffa. THere are many great fights missing from my dvd collection. For example:

Hughes vs. Sakurai
Barnett vs. Couture
Tito vs. Wanderlei
Liddell vs. Randleman
Liddell vs. Vitor
all Genki Sudo’s UFC fights (one of my favorites of all time)

Does the UFC own the fight footage for pre zuffa fights? If so, why wont they release those events on DVD. Can anyone answer that question? Jesse holland, any idea?

by john on Apr 14, 2009 9:10 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Unfortunately there isn’t much of a market for them. Zuffa doesn’t feel there is a lot of value in the pre-TUF era.

The UFC is slowly releasing older events in collector packs — sets of four. We’re at their mercy as far as a timetable.

I know that’s not you john, just messin’.

He’s come closer to killing Fedor than any other man. I still can’t understand how someone could live through that slam.

I hope he gets the mentoring he needs this time around. He said he moved to Vegas. Is he going to be training with Randy?

by Punch You in the Ovaries on Apr 14, 2009 12:27 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

What if a guy with Lesnar’s size could have pulled that move off on Fedor. That would have been the first mma death during a live ppv.

by naturalshadow on Apr 14, 2009 1:45 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I hope that he trains hard. I’d like to see him fight Babalu or Ortiz. Not to mention, if Afliction fighters come to strikeforce, we could see some great match ups as well. I’d like to see Randleman fight Rogers. He said he’d fight at heavyweight.

Rampage Jackson said that Randleman should have been the greatest MMA champion of all time if he had better training and trainging partners..hes hoping Xtreme Couture helps him have a good final year or two

I like kevin randleman he is a beast of a man, and is extremely explosive, when he decides to show up for his fights.. i think he should come back to the ufc, he’ll actually give alot of guyz trouble their. Forrest, Keith, Maybe franklin, and maybe JUST maybe Rashad evans if he is able to catch him…

by ricky on Apr 14, 2009 12:31 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Naw Rashad wouldnt have any problem with Randleman, the only person I think that can put the first dent in rashads record at 205 is Machida.

Great Addition to Strikeforce seriously Strikeforce is starting to look bad ass!

While I don’t think Kevin Randleman is going to make an incredible come back and destroy everyone one, I certainly think he can bring a lot of excitement in to the 205 lbs weight division. It seems that in the past he was plagued by some emotional issues and so on. Getting married might bring some stability into his life and changing camps could reinvigorate his training.

Anwyay, this is exciting…

by aman on Apr 14, 2009 3:23 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

At 0:45 into the video he says “I am not coming back to lose and I am not coming back to back up. Whoever that’s coming to fight me, needs to come and fight…”

I wonder if he is talking about Machida. LOL

TITO ORTIZ VS. KEVIN RANDLEMAN ………AN EPIC BATTLE OF ATTENTION WHORES…….

by yoububg on Apr 14, 2009 8:21 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Randlemans a straight up dick. I hope Tito absolutely puts a beating on him. Tito claims he has not been to full potential in around 4 years – if thats true i hope he comes out like a man on fire
