Eddie Alvarez would beat both of them. I cant wait Eddie fighting tomorrow. Always looking forward to watching him bang!

off topic, I just watched the Dana video blog (it was removed from youtube, took an hour to find one that worked), and I posted the Loretta Hunt article on this site yesterday…my take, if Dana is telling the truth that the fighter gets x amount of credentials and he cam use them how ever he wants, then I’m with him, “F Hunt!” Yes Dana has his own way of conducting himself, but I personally like the in your face honest approach. Would you guys rather another PC dance around the truth guy or someone straight up with you? Maybe it’s a Boston thing???

by kevin on Apr 2, 2009 10:19 PM EDT up reply actions

now I’m reading Dana will apologize for upsetting the gay comunity. I see nothing wrong with apologizing, but gays need to get over slurs that really aren’t aimed at them, just used as slurs!

by kevin on Apr 2, 2009 10:22 PM EDT up reply actions

im with you kevin, dana is a straight shooter with the best tyraids known to man. his eat shit attitude is his best quality. ill take honesty over pc 8 days a week.
 Q. whats the difference between faggots and
    refrigerators?
 A. refigerators dont fart when you pull the meat out!!

by day1er on Apr 2, 2009 11:38 PM EDT up reply actions

kev, i totally agree with you…sometimes slurs are just slurs. i actually think dana’s straight-up-in-your-face attitude is funny as hell. my only beef with him is—considering all his talk about ‘cleaning up’ the mma fighter(s) image—him spewing slurs (of any kind) is rather counter-productive, especially for someone who’s supposed to represent (nevermind run) the organization. curse all you want and diss people all you want, but slurs (regardless of how they’re used) should be off limits for the president of a company with a high public profile.

day1er, that joke is so friggin old—not to mention tasteless. here’s a new one:
Q. what’s the difference between day1er and a piece of dog sh_t with maggots all over it?
A. you don’t throw up when you see a piece of dog sh_t with maggots all over it.

Kev: while I do agree with your posts in THeory, JO3eyvitamin is right! I dont care about Dana’s language and approach for the most part….BUT when he does something in a negative light that puts a negative light on the sport…well then thats bad!

Every Morning I wake up to ESPN news on my tV….and what do I see the second I wake up on the bottom of the screen this morning:

“UFC president Dana white makes slurs against Gays…..blah blah blah… "

That is TERRIBLE!!! UFC finally getting some ESPN coverage, and Dana does this! Say what u want about how people shouldnt be offended, but come on…..If it puts a negative light on the sport….THEN YOUR WRONG!!!

Loretta hunt doesn’t hate Dana, and he insulted her for 3 minutes…so why do you guys hate him? for mainstreaming mma, for being honest or for being rich?

who said they hated him? the question is why do you love him so much?for being honest or being rich? is it just a man crush or is it deeper?(in you)

by shogun on Apr 3, 2009 11:54 AM EDT up reply actions

i agree, i remember watching El Nino lay a beating on Clay Guida a couple years back in strikeforce for the title.

by BMO on Apr 2, 2009 11:14 PM EDT up reply actions

hey do any of you guys think this was a bad move for eddie to fight at bellator?? If he loses to a nobody.. it would prob ruin is rep and his star power.

by Leo on Apr 2, 2009 9:51 PM EDT reply actions

No doubt but I think he will be ok.

by Joben on Apr 2, 2009 10:09 PM EDT up reply actions

I think he signed a contract with Bellator before he became a big name. I just hope he chooses to fight in the Strikeforce card in June (maybe Gilbert Melendez or KJ Noons)

Im not going after all. I have other plans.

Would like to see Alvarez in the UFC, too

by shitleTOT.com on Apr 2, 2009 10:48 PM EDT reply actions

I would LOVE to see Alvarez,Aoki and Hansen in the UFC and like I said awhile back I think if they did come anyone of them would champ easy!!

by NM on Apr 2, 2009 11:20 PM EDT up reply actions

alvarez would do fine but hansen is a very weak guy and alot of the ufc lightweights are wrestlers with decent sub defence. my guess is that hed be like mac danzig but who knows he could dummy all the lightweights.

by Jared on Apr 3, 2009 7:39 AM EDT up reply actions

ya they could all prob make it to the ufc but the one whos best from 3 will prob be the one who will even have a chance of making it

Why did Eddie go and get a tan and hair cut? I thought he and Pete Sell were having a Denis Kang look alike contest.
