Since when do we require our athletes to be educated? I like when they are, but listen to an NBA or NFL player after a game. Most played college ball, but you’d never know they went to college. Plus, Rampage says “know what I’m saying” as much as Mike Tyson, but he’s not getting ragged on like Junie. I want to see an uneducated kid with a temper problem pull his life together and be somebody in the sport.
I’m a fan. Post-TUF, he’s acted respectful and his standup was greatly improved. I’m not going to write off someone forever for how they behaved young, drunk, and in a frat house.

you make a good point, but when he makes bold statements on the show he better back them up and he failed to do it, that is probably why most hate junie..
i don’t really care either way about the guy i do like cole miller though he’s a nice respectful kid i hope to see challenging bj one day, it would be a grappling clinic

Hold up RM, a little premature to be talking about Miller vs BJ.
At the start of the season, I liked Junie because of his trash talk, the whole, “on him beating me, hes got a better chance at gettin me pregnant” was funny. But he way overdid it. I was willing to forget about it after the show, but he still runs his mouth. He says he should be the main event, that Efrain is below him, and all this other mess. Dude doesn’t know when to shut his mouth.

Junie doesnt really bother me. I tend to over look what comes out of a fighters mouth as long as they bring it inside the cage.
I hated how he acted on the show, but since the end of the show, he hasnt bothered me one bit. I actually think that Junie has a chance of becoming really good. I dont know if he can beat Cole “Baby Ken Flo” Miller…cole is a very tough kid who has beaten fighters like Garcia and Gurgel who I am not sure that Junie can beat. mma math means nothing, but Cole has proven to be at a higher level…Is Junie there yet? Maybe, but it remains to be seen. This fight should tell us a lot about how good Junie really is.

Since the show Junie hasn’t bothered me much either, but he certainly has a lot to prove to us Junie Haters. He’s a young talented guy with a lot of room for emotional and professional growth. So far he’s coming along, he’s in a great camp with lots of role models to learn by. He’s not off my A’ Shit List Yet! But I do like a guy that turns his life around.

John, I’m not sure about this one. So I’m going out on limb a little calling Junie. I’m basing it on his cardio looking so much better in his last fight and his tough submission defense style. If he fights agressive and forces out of sub attempts, I think he can push Cole around and get a decision. Cole is tough and I don’t see him getting KO’d, but if Junie is training like he says, his athleticism could make him too much for Cole to handle IMO.

He should act the same way he did on the show, period! he has to get the “it” factor back.. being a nice guy won’t do you any good, every fighter has a life outside of the business anyways just like every other proffessional, and that is something we don’t know a thing about!.. this is his job not his life..

When Junie speaks it makes me wanna puke, but I am not judging him on speaking. Im looking for a fight. This kid is going to be a star or fall hard. My guess is that he will destroy Cole. I cannot believe you guys are giving cole a chance. He is about to be demolished.

you guys dont know much about mma anyways.
The average beer drinking redneck fan would initially think “ohh Cole Miller wins this one easily. Junie is a drunk clown like myself. b*tch, get me another beer.” but, the truth is that we have to only look as far back as Cole’s last fight and realize this is a talior made match up for Junie Browning on national TV.
Dont worry, for Junie’s sake since Cole will probably be on here reading my comments, i wont go into detail about the exact area’s of focus Junie will have. chip dizzle you are so wrong about carmelo. he licks ass, he barely got past his last test in the wec against a pure striker that ACTUALLY took him down. bader is a beast wrestler with heavy hands. expect a tko or a decision after bader controls the action and dominates the whole fight

exactly what im talking about. Are you actually comparing Bader’s striking to that of a 6’3 Steinbess who has multiple credentials in kickboxing. Im sure you also have Mark Coleman and Remy Bojansky on the same level since he is a “beast wrestler with heavy hands”… kind of sounds like Fujita. Is he next to come over? (do you know all the guys im talking about? probably not…lol)
Back to topic… Carmello might not be the caliber wrestler that Bader is, but he has been in there with Kongo, Gonzaga, Gouveia and even Mike C who are bigger and bader (no pun intended) , carmelo has been on fire since being subd by the huge black belt Gonzaga, oh and then once again by the black belt Gouveia. Hopefully CB doesnt try and sneak a black belt into Bader’s bag or my plans could be f*cked!!!
oh yeah, Carmello does have better hands and can manage himself just fine in the clinch where the majority of this fight will take place. Dont be a fool and think Bader gets the HUGE Rampage slams, because most of you dont know about Marrero and have not disected both camps and fighters. Peace out b*tches!
