Haha, I didn’t even look at the picture at first. Just the writing, and was like “… shouldn’t it be Faber vs Pulver 3?”
Then it clicked. I’m slow. I just woke up. Shh.

Nice home field for Faber. I hope this fight is better than the first.

Won’t matter, Brown will drop him in the first.

Think so?
Think Brown is Faber’s A.Silva to Franklin.

no way, faber absolutely will not lose in sacramento, he’s gonna hurt brown and bad, last time brown had a rib injury this time he won’t catch urijah and he’ll have a more broken ribs

No one wants to remember Faber being tossed around the cage before being put down. He didn’t have anything for him and he won’t now. Brown has power, size, wrestling and plays a very tight game. He won’t do dumb $hit for no reason.

I can’t wait to get off work and crack open a delicious bud light.

i really dont know who to go with in this one, we didnt see enough in the 1st fight to see how they match up, i’m leaning towards brown by either tko rnd 2 or UD

Faber will come into this fight rededicated and with something to prove. Brown’s title reign ends June 7th.
That said, I’ll laugh my ass off if Faber takes another bomb right on his freakish, ass-shaped chin and collapses onto the canvas.

I’m with you Jeremy.Faber will be in great shape. He will be too much for Brown.

Every time that McDonald’s Snack Wrap ad descends into my line of sight I throw up in my mouth a little.

The thought of McDonald’s makes me feel like I need to run 2 miles.

I want faber to win but brown is the man right now. faber has to be very careful and not get stupid like last time they fought. hard to pick the winner but I got to say..
WAR FABER!

Faber’s going to get raped in his little butt-chin.

UF ROCKS!! First Benavidez will put out Curran this Sun, and make him pay for already talking smack about Torres and looking past Joseph, and Faber in the 2nd rd by rear naked choke baby!!! Then at Arco, Alpha Male will take both titles!!! Danny Castillo will take the LW title, later this year or early 2010!!

Personally, I dont see why Faber is getting a title shot so fast. All he did was beat a guy he already beat before… Seems like a waste to me. There should be some kind of rule that if you lose the belt decisively, then you should have to win 3 in a row to get another shot.. at a minimum…
by enzo-enormous on Mar 30, 2009 6:37 PM EDT reply actions
3 in a row is too long. especially considering how long his reign was. same thin happened when rich lost his title to anderson.

He woulda fought aldo but he got hurt so jens stepped up, basically aldo vs faber woulda been no 1 contender match

Got 8 of us goin’, ringside. Went ringside last year and got pics with Guida, Bonnar, and my sister got one with Nate Diaz. Was an outstanding experience. Looking forward to my 2nd WEC event, 4th overall Zuffa-owned event (UFC 73 and UFC 76 I attended as well). The best sporting event one could go to, PERIOD.

I agree I met almost every UFC fighter at just one event!!
by NM on Mar 30, 2009 8:47 PM EDT up reply actions
And it’s too cool that can actually happen. At 76, got pics with Dana White, Koscheck, Huerta, “Big” John McCarthy, Bruce Buffer, Dan Henderson, Joe Stevenson…..saw Rashad Evans and Faber there…..was a completely outstanding experience. To everyone, If you have the chance to go to a UFC Event (or WEC), DO IT!

Ok faber and brown are the same size faber may be a little bigger but brown is stronger ill give him that and faber has been wrestling a really long time. Brown can’t beat him on the ground. Brown just has boxing….. Period end of descusion. And we all know that old school boing shit just dosnt work and more. Stop faber hatin.
