Georges St. Pierre admits to cheating; Wants to just piss off BJ Penn even more (Video)
By preparing Kenny Florian to kick his ass:
He also says that he did indeed cheat at UFC 94, hiring a man to kiss Penn as he made his way to the Octagon to drain his focus. Not the admission I'm sure for which Penn is searching.

GSP then hired the same guy to sleep with Bj Penn after the match and use the tub of Vas…
Never mind (i’m just being childish).
GSP isn’t letting BJ get to him. For those who questioned his mental toughness take a good look!!!

If B.J. doesn’t stop crying, and start focusing on the fight he is about to have, then he may have another ass kicking coming his way.

It was Mickey Avalon that kissed BJ.
Mickey Avalon is the man!

“GSP isn’t letting BJ get to him. For those who questioned his mental toughness take a good look!!!”
Are you serious? This is what you consider testing his
mental toughness?? Dude he smashed on BJ, people question
his mental toughness because at times he was timid in the
octagon, and he admitted to not being able to get past the
fact that he was an underdog fighting a dominant champion
(matt hughes). Beating the crap out of a much smaller
opponent and then not being phased by that guy talking
crap doesn’t answer any questions about his mental
toughness. Almost everyone doesnt think he is guilty anyway
so what worries does he have to question his mental
toughness?

I am just hoping that BJ starts back training here soon so he can make 155. I know he came in at 168 vs GSP but it doesnt look like he is still training during all these court hearings.
Would Dana ever strip BJ of the title if he tries to delay the Ken-flo fight past ufc 101 or 102?

one more news story:
Affliction is really going to go through with their 3rd show the same day/weekend as 100. And get this, Fedor and Barnett are not going to fight each other. They dont have enough money to pay for them to fight without being on PPV.

If Fedor and Barnett are on the same card and not fighting each other, that is a joke.
The only fight worth Fedor’s time at M-1 is Barnett. Lame.
Fedor looked very beatable against Arlovski, and if he goes back to fighting cans he can forget about being considered the pound for pound king.

good catch, sorry bout that,
Even if he did look beatable, i cant see barnett putting up much of a fight. Fedor will probably KO him or take his arm back to russia with him.
Affliction may last until 2010 but that will be because they dont put on another show until then. Then Fedor will be a free agent again and go to dream which sucks for us, unless dream goes under too. They may be doing a HW grad prix so that will be where he goes.

Dude, GSP is losing class every time I see his ugly mug in one of these clips talking about hiring dudes to kiss Penn and crap like that. I actually hated Penn and loved GSP prior to that fight. Now I don’t really like Penn and can’t stand GSP. I hope Alves knocks GSP the -- out. Teach him a lesson about humility.
by RedDog on Mar 21, 2009 9:40 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
RedDog I appreciate what your saying but how many times can GSP turn the other cheek. BJ Penn always has a personal insult to spew out. If he is not accussing someone of greasing he will probaly say their on steroids.
The guy would probaly accuse MMAMANIA of tax evasion or something crazy if they pissed him off.
People always talk about class but when someone first says your mentally weak, qusetions your heart/desire and later calls you a cheat, the best way to deal with it is to brush it off and not to dignify the accusation.
GSP merely brushed it aside and made light of BJ’s admirer and still remained classy while doing it.
by Holdin_Ropes on Mar 21, 2009 9:53 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
“If he is not accussing someone of greasing he will probaly say their on steroids.”
Well lets see, the guy he is accusing of steroids tested positive for…..steroids! Spin it however you
want he just happened to have high leves of whatever
chemical, the dude tested positive for roids, so
I don’t think you can blame BJ for that. And greasing…
Some of the UFC’s videos striaght up show him rubbing
his head then neck than chest, I for one have no idea
what the truth is, only GSP and his corner really do,
not saying he cheated but I don’t hate BJ for bringing
it up. SO the two points you bring up have some crdibility to them.

by GregC on Mar 21, 2009 2:58 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Holdin_Ropes: thank you for responding in a civil manner. You asked how many times could he turn the other cheek? Since you made a Bible reference I’ll make one as well…70 times 7 times is the answer. But seriously, GSP would look better no matter how anyone tries to pitch it if he would just let it all go. If he did no wrong then he has no need to say anything back. The problem is, everyone saw grease being applied to GSP and the commision fighting with GSP’s corner to put that greasing agent away. This does not normally happen in a fight so it opened the door for Penn to have a claim. If you fought someone and lost, and someone was applying grease to the person you were fighting between rounds, no matter how badly you got beat, you would not be happy about the fact that that grease application occured. How you like everyone telling you that you got beat so bad that it wouldn’t matter if your opponent was applying grease or not?
by RedDog on Mar 22, 2009 3:45 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Well i wouldn’t say i’d go that far but i can see your point.
My take on the whole enquiry is this… it should go ahead and if GSP is found guilty of gaining an advantage from breaking the rules then it should be ruled a NO CONTEST.
What people are letting cloud their judgement is the fact that GSP dominated BJ… that is irrelevant.
Spin it on its head and imagine GSP caught greasing in the 1st BJ fight or if the second had have been close, i bet everyone would be screaming no contest.
If GSP gained any advantage at all then it is unfair, no matter how the fight turned out.
What would have had more of an impact on the outcome of a fight, smoking weed the night before or your trainer spreading grease on your back/shoulders???
Obviously i am refering to Diaz/Gomi but surely you can see my point. If that was ‘cheating’ enough for it to be ruled NC then so should this.
Yes GSP smashed BJ, yes he would do in a third fight but that does not matter one little bit.

Thr rules state that any excess grease, vaseline applied to a fighters body will be wiped off…Thats excess, so there is a loop hole in the rules. Clearly you could be slicked up as long as it’s not excess. So thats why the NSAC won’t be doing anything. Read up, this isn’t new news.

looks like zelg galesic has to pull out of drEAM 8.
MMAaxion.com and Index.hr reported that Zelg most likely won’t be fighting at Dream 8 against Nakahara. Zelg didn’t pass the medical test – his blood test did not come out right. Zelg’s camp is reporting that the blood test came out bad because of over training and exhaustion.
I was really looking forward to seeing Benkie fight again

GSP rocks! Nick your post sucks. If BJ dominated GSP in that fight to the same degree he was dominated and the whole situation was reversed, I would still not want it called a no contest. I want the most dominate fighter to get credit and I want to really know who the best fighters in the world are. That’s what most of us want. We all got the answer we were looking for.
As always, trying to get rule changes and prevent this from happening again is OKAY, but BJ thinking he could do any better minus a little vaseline is dellusional.
Let’s go KenFlo, whoop that ass. Then Diego, whoop that ass. Then BJ, retire.
And how can it annoy anyone to see GSP have a sense of humor. I only see that coming from non-fans of GSP.
I’ve hugged GSPs nuts from the beginning and it makes these arguments fun now. It’s like being a fan of your team and seeing them dominate in the super bowl. When your guy is simply better, that’s the ultimate trump card. If BJ and GSP fight again, I get to rub it in haters faces again. When he fights Thiago, I get to get on here boast some more. GSP is the man whether you want him to be or not. Outside of an absolute fluke, the only fight GSP has a chance of losing is agains A. Silva.
To the few that remain in support of BJ’s dellusions, I am not impress with your performance.

I really think that BJ has lost it here.
The guy was on a mission to prove that he is the greatest fighter in the world, and he has had to face the hard reality that he isn’t.
He thought his will to win and natural talent could overcome GSP’s huge size and strength advantage. Guess what, BJ. Georges wants to win too. And lightning reflexes, great jitz a nd decent boxing isn’t going to be enough to beat a bigger, technically superior athlete.
Now that his facade has been torn away, BJ feels he must continue to wage this losing battle, this time in the arena of public opinion. He’s losing there as well.
You are very very good, BJ, but even if you did train hard you would never have the physical tools to hang with GSP. Fight at your natural weight as soon as possible, train hard and secure a victory over Ken-flo, and gradually rebuild your shattered self-esteem. Being able to beat GSP doesn’t define who you are as a person. Keep this up and you will lose more than this fight … you will lose your tenuous grasp on reality and your ability to look in the mirror.
by Jeremyjackson on Mar 21, 2009 2:27 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Punch… so what if the most dominating fighter was caught using steroids??
Surely as long as he won the fight clearly he keeps the win by your logic?? Is that fair, no of course not.
Its not about the fighters personally i mean i like GSP but if he won whilst breaking the rules then it should be scrapped IMO.
by Nick J on Mar 21, 2009 3:25 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
People always fuck up their anologies on here. Here’s why your steroid analogy doesn’t fly:
1. Using steroids is never acidental. The vaseline was accidental. You could argue that it wasn’t I suppose but I don’t belive that for a second.
2. The vaseline incident occured after BJ was already being dominated. No one is ever beating the shit out of a guy and then starts taking steriods in round 2 to get more of advantage.
3. If someone is using steroids, you could never say that the fight would go the same way without the roids. However, everyone knows that this fight would go down the same way.
And the best reason of all not to call it a no contest: It would reward BJ for being a whiny Vag. Then we get even more vaginitis for cabbage fag kid.
by Punch You in the Ovaries on Mar 21, 2009 7:03 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
1) Vaseline wasn’t intentional?? What did it fall onto his back and shoulders?
2) Back to my origional point, what happened in the first round is irrelevent as to if GSP broke the rules or not.
3) Again how the fight went doesn’t matter.
I agree that BJ is a whiny vag (not my choice of words) but i think he has got a point, thats my opinion and i’m sticking to it!
by Nick J on Mar 22, 2009 12:36 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Get over it Nick, kicking in the nuts is illegal, but it happens accidentaly too. The greasing rules are vauge at best and aren’t clear enough to say what nurse did was cheating. Try looking at it objectively. The minute amount that was applied would be FAR less of an advantage than striking your opponent in the groin or poking him in the eye. When these things happen the fighter is alowed a time out to recover and when excessive vas is applied the remedy is simply to wipe it off. To even metion the fight be ruled a no contest on these grounds is ridiculous. Even more so if you consider the face to body transfer of vas is far greater (which was also wiped off GSP)leaving the miniscule amount applied irrelivant. BJ can whine all he wants, but it’s not going to change the fact that GSP’s posturing up was what caused his inabillity to get a sub. It’s the same reason no other BJJ BB has ever came close to getting GSP in a sub from the bottom.
by Gord on Mar 22, 2009 3:03 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Ok i feel like i am swimming against the tide here as a lot of you guys are pretty adamant but here goes!!
What i am saying is IF it is decided in the court room that GSP did something illegal then it should be a NC.
I’m not saying that he DID anything illegal, thats not for me, you, Dana or anyone other than the NSAC to decide.
But if those guys come to the conclusion that he cheated then like any other breach it should result in a NC.
by Nick J on Mar 22, 2009 3:35 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Nick, you are still missing the point. Eye pokes and groin strikes are illegal, are you saying they should be ruled a no contest? Jay walking is illegal, but you don’t get the death penelty for it. This incident is more a kin to groin strikes and eye pokes than it is to steroids (something many are comparing it to). It doesn’t warrent a no contest. Read the responce letters from GSP’s camp, they are a group of very intelligent guys. How can anyone think they would try to pull a stunt like that in front of EVERYONE? It’s obvious it was an accident and measures have been taken to ensure it won’t happen again. The vast majority see it as that. It’s more like a misdemeanor than a fellon. Man, I’d sure hate to see some of you guys as a judge, you’ld be handing out capital punishment for unpaid parking tickets. It really is only an issue because baby BJ made it one.
by Gord on Mar 22, 2009 8:55 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Groin strikes and eye pokes are illigal yes but in the common place they are accidental.
If a fighter deliberatly poked someone in the eye during a fight then i would sure as well hope that the fight be ruled a NC.

GSP said that Grease Gate is over—that he went to court and won. Is that correct? Has it been decided that he did not cheat and is the investigation done? No penalty?
I am afraid GSPs tactic of getting back at BJ by trying to help KenFlo might backfire. If BJ wins, it will only embolden BJ to call out GSP by rubbing his KenFlo victory in GSPs face by saying that KenFlo can’t beat him without vaseline.
GSP sure has a way of getting under other people’s skin. I can’t wait for the GSP/BJ rematch to see GSP get under BJs skin by peeling it off with elbow strikes to the face.
by DrPepper on Mar 21, 2009 9:48 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
It also might backfire in that GSP is distracted from his Alves fight. I know GSP trains harder than anyone but I just have this weird feeling that Penn is hungry right now and GSP is a bit to relaxed. I think if GSP’s not careful he could get too wrapped up in this whole controversy and we could see a Penn win and a GSP loss in the near future.

WWAAAHHH BJ!
Anyone who’s anyone in MMA has said that the alleged wrongdoings had nothing to do with the outcome of this fight. GSP and crew have answered their charges plainly and directly.
Final verdict? GSP by TKO at UFC 94, GSP by TKO at the NSAC, and GSP via TKO in the headgame leading up to Florian v. Penn.
Penn’s game right now reminds me of Matt Hughes after GSP handed it to him. He still had the tools to be an elite fighter, but that loss took his killer instinct out of him. Whether BJ is right or wrong, if he can’t keep who his opponent in the octagon is straight from his bitterness about UFC 94, he’ll continue to lose.
I’d love to see him rebound and continue to outclass the lightweight division so he can solidify his legacy as an all-time great (because I don’t think he’s there yet). Time will tell!
BJ is STUPID talented, but you can’t walk in half-minded to any fight in the UFC and expect to dominate, especially with someone with as many skills as KenFlo. IF he doesn’t get his mindspace cleared out, all he’ll have left are grudge matches with the Matt Serras of the UFC.

I was watching Kenny fight Joe Stevenson just now and it’s pretty obvious that BJ is a level above him. When BJ fought Joe it was complete domination, Kenny had to really scrap for his win. Kenny’s good at winning fights but I think BJ’s too big, too strong, and too skilled for Kenny.

bj is a fucking cry baby, he cant just accept a loss, it is never his fault, bullshit, i really do hope kenny knocks that dumbass down another peg or two, the man is delusional, believes in his own hype, even to go as far as comparing himself as god! i used to be a fan of this guy, but bj has just turned out to be a classless person, what was he expecting anyway, he was never dominant in the ufc ww division to begin with, not to bj: MOVE THE FUCK ON!!!!!!!!!

Not saying he will, but what happens to Penn’s psyche if he loses to KenFlo, too?

If Penn loses to KenFlo, his psyche will be fine. I’m sure he’ll find a million excuses.

Finishes Kenny: he’s the man again
Loss to Kenny: he’s done
Of course the 1st will happen

I think Penn will beat Florian, but it’s not a given. Florian is no joke and improves with every fight. I only give Penn about a 5-10% advantage. Alot of people say that Florian is better because he beat Joe Daddy easier than Penn did, but what about Sherk? That MMA math stuff doesn’t work in determining who the better fighter is. As far as that douche bag that kissed Penn, who is that guy? Nevermind, that’s probably why he did it, because nobody knows who he is and he’s tryin to get people talkin.
by Josh H. on Mar 21, 2009 1:11 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
No doubt that KenFlo is a talented fighter and is improving with every fight. I wouldn’t be surprised, however, so see BJ totally dominate him. I don’t like Cry Baby J, but I’ll freely admit his talent is world class. Too bad he’s a spoiled bitch.

Holdin-Ropes is right on. GSP can’t turn the other cheek every time and BJ needs a taste of his own medicine. At least when Georges says something absurd we can tell it’s a joke. BJ however wants a fair fight and is very serious about it when we all know that he’s already had two of them.
GSP is moving on while BJ and his mom are writing letters to Congress……..go figure

BJ won his belt 3 months before GSP did. After the Alves fight, GSP will have defended his title 3 times. BJ … once.
Way to be fighting champ, Crybaby.
by pancake head on Mar 21, 2009 1:57 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
In fact, GSP won an interim title in December 2007. BJ won an interim title the next month. Since then GSP’s won 3 title fights, and BJ won just 1. GSP will have fought 4 times before BJ defends his title twice.
BJ needs to shut up and fight. In the ring, not the courts, and not the forum of public opinion.

God, when will this crap be over.
I’ve never liked BJ, but until this fiasco I respected him.
I’ve never seen a guy’s image dissolve from that of a blood and guts warrior to that of a whining little pussy in such a short period of time. Way to shatter your legacy BJ.
It IS unethical to be smeared with vaseline before a fight. It is very unfortunate that this happened. But it appears to me that this improper vaseline application was clearly unintentional and had ZERO outcome on the result of the fight. GSP has proven himself to be a consummate sportman who always respects his opponents (sometimes TOO much!).

roided up GSP finally lettin dat rage out. what about all dat hgh and roids gsp is on.
Sherk and Hughes implied he greased in thier fights. Kenny “gonna get ass raped” Florian told BJ dat GSP greases, and GSP was caught greasin wit his shemale boyfriend Nurse.

Not to sound like a hater but I think GSP might be gay. I first heard this rumor about 9 months ago and just shrugged it off as nothing but that. Now I’m not so sure.
First off he’s not interested in Mandi Moore. Strike one. Second, if you look at his post-fight celebration after the Penn fight, he’s hugging and jumping up and down with some dude an awful lot which looked kinda odd to me. Strike two. Now he’s hiring guys to kiss other guys. Strike three and your out of the closet.
Now don’t hate on me b/c i’ve been a GSP fan for a while and have nothing against homosexuals, this is just an observation I’ve had and thought i’d share it here. Comments?

Penn also brought his mommy to court, lol.
Penn’s mother, Lorraine Shin – who testified at Tuesday’s hearing – felt the matter was black-and-white: St. Pierre had used the greasy substance to win, and he should be punished.
"How could this happen?" she said. "Why was it allowed? There are probably several reasons, but the responsibility falls with the Nevada State Athletic Commission. The Nevada State Athletic Commission failed in their duties by not immediately notifying the Penn corner of the unfair use of greasing and Vaseline applied on Pierre, by not allowing the Vaseline to be removed properly off of Pierre, and by not taking the necessary procedures to protect my son from being seriously injured or killed."

Thats what made3 me laugh the most. BJ’S Mom had to stand up for him, LMFAO!!!!!!!! He wont live that one down and he needs to stop talking about how he did not get a fair shot. Dude you have fought him twice and have been beaten easily both times…….what are you after!!!!!! We all saw the fight BJ, he kicked your ass easily both times, talking about it isnt going to change it. If GSP was in the wrong Gatorade would not have signed him to do commercials with guys like TIGER WOODS AND GORDIE HOWE……..honestly thats enough said right there!!!!!!

man!!! all this hate on BJ. If you guys were in his shoes, you’d bith at least twice as much. Yeah sure he needs to mature a bit, but who dnt? We all on a learning process. No 155 is gona beat BJ for the next 3 years….. at least. I like GSP but trash talkin dont suit him. Be who you are GSP, not who manager wants you to be. I like BJ, cos usually his trash talkin is quite similar to what I say to guys I’m gna KTFO.

Speak for yourself WayoftheMangina. Almost every fighter, fan, reporter even BJ fans will tell you BJ got beat fair and square no excuses. I don’t mind the trash talking either it does add hype to the fight but you look stupid when you can’t back up your mouth wich is why BJ is really complaining…. to save face.

When I see this is when I know Fedor is the best fighter in the world. GSP is doing exactly the same. If you have class let the other one talk you already won the fight. Why do I say Fedor is the best? Because even when people talk trash about him he does not talk back.

LOL gsp IMO thinks penn is pathetic and is loving all his whining as he knows it looks bad. I have my doubts if he can turn kenny into a bj killer in that little amount of time, kenny is no gsp, he would need som genius stadegy to pull it off or get kind of lucky. On that note gsp should shut up and not say anything IMO he is kind of pulling a serra, talking too much after the fight when pressed by the media. The whole kenny beating penn comment was stupid because penn has a good chance of destroying kenny, like I said kenny is no gsp no way in hell could be outwrestled penn and manhandled him like gsp did. Gsp is a monster welterweight and kenny is a good lightweight, I wish gsp would keep quiet even though the comment was funny.
by nathan on Mar 22, 2009 2:12 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
No way BJ destroys Kenny. Kenny is way better than Stevenson or Pulver and I think he would hang a lickin on Sherk now too. I think it will be a good close fight and Kenny could very well win it. Kenny isn’t GSP, but he has the same fast paced agressiveness that will tire Penn out. Not to mention what state BJ’s mind will be in after taking the beating of his life.
by Gord on Mar 22, 2009 3:53 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Ya both gsp and penn need to put this behind then and focus on the task at hand. There both fighting tough guys, penn is a moron, my fair fight, my fair fight, he got completely destroyed and his excuse of the tiny vas making the difference is beyond stupid, I wonder if he even watched the fight. The funny thing is, is that penn did nothing to earn a title shot in the first place, only defended his light weight title once and because of him obsession with gsp hasn’t defended his belt in almost a year and when he does it will be well over a year. The only way I see kenny winning is somehow outpointing penn which I doubt he’ll be able to do, and if penn somehow loses I can just imagine the excuses he’ll have ready. Gsp/alves is a very interesting fight, alves poses some problems that nobody who has fought gsp before has brought to the table. Alves is a machine and IMO much tougher than penn, I thought this even before gsp/penn 2, should be and exciting fight and don’t really care who wins that one as both guys are good guys.

What BJ neglects to realize is there never was, nor will be a fair fight for him against GSP. BJ is 0-3 in his last 3 WW fights and GSP only lost 2 out of 20.

Let us put a stop on this grease thing. BJ was schooled like an amateur by GSP during their fight. GSP was bigger, stronger, and more athletic during the fight. Does the grease played a role in him becoming the stronger, bigger, more athletic fighter? Hell no. Discipline played a big part in it. That is the result of a rigorous training and discipline that GSP underwent. BJ lacks the discipline to train that hard, so it showed during the fight. Rather than whine like a puppy, BJ should just move on, train harder, and forget that he can beat GSP at this point in time. And please there are quality fighters in the lightweight division that BJ can fight with the likes of Diego, Sherk, Maynard, Florian, Aoki and future superstars like Tyson Griffin, Frankie Edgar. Those were the people that BJ should set his eye on, no more wandering for the welterweight belt where he will be fighting guys as big as Fitch, GSP, Alves. Case closed.
