Damn, you can really see the difference roids make when they put a picture of someone thats clean like GSP or Carwin up against a body builder.

Branch Warren looks like a piece of crispy bacon I ate once. Sizzling right off the griddle!

speaking of roids…Belcher just accused Akiyama of being a roid head! Hope Akiyama beats that Johnny Cash tatoo off of this klowns body!

Yea I can’t stand Belcher; I’ll be cheering on Akiyama by way of straight decapitation in that fight

There are people that are on roids that do look like GSP and Carwin they just don’t eat 10,000 calories a day and seat around all day taking naps after an hour workout. Alves already got caught once! He didn’t come close to looking like a bodybuilder becuase he is not one, but people still do them who don’t look like monsters. Take away roids from bodybuilding and it’s a complete joke…Bodybuilders who stop taking them and then compete in natural shows look like the average fitness person. I find it a little weird that GSP and Carwin are both at a sporting event the promotes roids….does anyone else?

Alves was caught using diuretics to “cut wieght”. Not exactly solid evidence he used roids. I hate how people accuse fighters of using roids just to make them selves feel better about being out of shape. I have put on 60 lbs of muscle in 8 years without the use of any suppliments. Its called hard work and eating right.

My bad about Alves but my main focal point was you don’t have to be on roids to look like a bodybuilder….people do look like GSP and are on roids = meaning ripped and fit looking….not that he is on them…he may be but I never that..also I have a Masters in Kinesiology/Exercise and own a fitness company, so training people is my profession. So I’m not out of shape by anymeans, I’m living proof hard work pays off….

im pretty built and cut for a natural 6’2, 208 lb man… Problem is that there is NO test for HGH, so until one is developed, its always going to be a possibility that our fav. fighters are juicing.
by john on Mar 20, 2009 11:37 AM EDT up reply actions
They havent developed an hgh test yet…correct?
by john on Mar 20, 2009 12:28 PM EDT up reply actions
didnt think so..until that changes, eVERYONE is a suspect, thats why I chose not to speculate on certain fighters, because in reality we can acuse all athletes until hgh can be detected
by john on Mar 20, 2009 5:19 PM EDT up reply actions
I believe HGH can be detected through blood analysis, but not through urine tests, which is what the UFC imposes.

Diuretics have also been known to be taken by athletes to mask the presents of roids in your system

i must say i think it’s the most retarded shit to think st. pierre is a roider. he is in phenomenal shape, but i wonder, how many people that call him a roider have ever been around sports? it is a fact that some people are blessed with amazing genetics coupled with relentless training and there you go. it’s not even close to the realm of roids to see people that are in sports or serious training have amazing physiques.
in any case, georges and thiago will have a chance to ‘rub elbows’.

I dont think he does roids, but until a test is developed to detect HGH use, it is always a possibility.

I think you meant anorexia, right?
Unless you were referring to dudes who have trouble reading a FLEX mag and bench-press upside down.

I heard BJ Penn is on roids, but he barely trains, so it doesn’t show.
If he’d dropped the roids he’d probably look like John Goodman.
His lawyer told me so while drunk.
