I got hte perfect solution for greasegate:
BJ Penn vs. GSP 3…GSP can come in covered in Lard and BJ can wear a gi…problem solved!

I honestly don’t think that B.J. would want to fight him again. I am sure somewhere in that giant head of his he realizes he got creamed, and to getting his ass kicked again will not look good.

OR……BJ could actually EARN a title shot instead of whining and bitching his way past all of the real contenders.

Now we know that substance BJ says Georges was taking to make himself naturally slippery.

How come BJ doesn’t get any big endorsements?? He’d make a good girlie panties spokesman. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

Okay, just because I have to. However, much respect to the Penn fans….
I heard something was in the works with Kleenex.

not t re-hash a discussion that I am sick of…the only part that is questionable is the fact that BJ told the UFC and the commission to watch out for gSP greasing, prior to the fight….and then GSP gets caught. That doesnt look very good for gSP!
like I said, I am a really big fan of both fighters so its easy to stay unbiased for this debate…Grease changed nothing in that fight, but its an issue that needs to be resolved in the sport, and from my point of view…it doesnt look good for GSP!

Agree john. I personally would love to see them fight again. BJ has really gotten carried away w/ the whole thing, and I’d love for them to settle it in the cage w/ no question marks. I would hate for the belts to be tied up again though, and personally I think it would be a massacre.
by LJ on Mar 20, 2009 11:29 AM EDT up reply actions
I 100% agree with both of you. I just couldn’t pass up the Kleenex comment.
by Jeff on Mar 20, 2009 11:38 AM EDT up reply actions
only way I want to see them fight again, is that if BJ is allowed to wear a gi…that way, whatever GSP does, BJ has NO reason to question him or the validity of the fight!

Jeff: I have to admit, I enjoyed the kleenex comment!
by john on Mar 20, 2009 12:27 PM EDT up reply actions
Bleh, the Gi would just help GSP control him and beat on him some more; it’s really a lose/lose for Penn.
by O damn he got caught on Mar 20, 2009 12:33 PM EDT up reply actions
John: The impression that I’ve gotten from this whole fiasco was someone told BJ’s camp prior to the fight GSP would be greased. During the fight BJ’s corner was unaware of the perceived excessive use of Vaseline or that the commission had toweled GSP down. The commission was advised by a UFC fighter in the crowd that it looked like Vaseline was being put on GSP’s shoulder and back. The commission toweled GSP off to be sure. BJ Penn got stompt. BJ Penn learned the details after the fact, decided a greased GSP would best explain his loss as opposed to his reliance on his signature rubber guard once GSP managed to land a take down thus BJ pursuing legal avenues to overturn the loss.

Who’s that someone? Kenny Florian who sent an e-mail, I mean text message to Bj, I mean Bj’s camp.

This will really piss BJ off, now he will be trying for a piece of GSP’s Gatorade endorsments……Civil Court here we come!!!!

When his time comes to retire and tell his story to his kids and grand kids how does he explain the cheating. Because when his house of cards come tumblin down…it will come down alot harder than anyone in the sport mark these words. The fans of sports always and i mean always will build an athlete up only to knock him down and when his time comes to knock him down. How well does he take it. I suspect not so well…I suspect he curls up in a ball and crys like a baby. This guy is a cheater and all knows it. So while we give him a pass now he will pay later. Know that everyone in the sport is thinking you only last so long in this sport and when his time comes either by getting knocked out again or by getting caught definitively cheating he will be DONE!

by the spyder on Mar 20, 2009 11:56 AM EDT up reply actions
When the ruling body…NSAC takes no action against you. How is that cheating?? Your post is just your opinion, openly bias. Do you even know what the rules are concerning grease or vaseline in MMA. Obviously not!! Until the rules are changed, the rule pretty much reads like this. If a ref notices excessive amounts of grease or vaseline on a fighters body, he is instructed to wipe the excess off. So technically there is allowed to be grese or vaseline on a fighters body. Although Georges corner denies that it was intentional, it really doesn’t matter. They never broke the rules as their written. So all your babble about cheating,is just that babble.

zack n miri make a porno was hysterical! Pineapple express was a little disapointing, even for a pot head like me! Knocked up was awesome as was superbad and 40 year old virgin.

my favorite was probably forgetting Sarah Marshall! I watched it like a million days in a row. I know Seth Rogan wasn’t in the movie, but did he help write it?

Really? I thought it was hilarious you should watch it like 3 more times maybe it’ll grow on you…“Ahh you know, trying to get a motherf’in scholarship!!” – Red

So I guess you believe that the NSAC is taking no action against GSP because of some secret plot to promote Rush and keep BJ down? Oh wait, perhaps you think Dana is a mob Godfather and has ordered ths NSAC to do nothing. Grow up dude, the fight wasn’t even close and vas had nothing to do with it and you know it!
by SilasM on Mar 20, 2009 1:54 PM EDT up reply actions
SilasM, you’re exactly spot on! Dana is for reals a mob hit man, that has threatened the lives of all NSAC members if they interefere with the Marketability of GSP. I thought I was the only person to put it all together, but I see others are coming around..
by O damn he got caught on Mar 20, 2009 2:13 PM EDT up reply actions
Funny if it was true, but Dana only thinks he’s a goodfella. Now if you’re asking if I think he’s a douchbag…….

Nice to see MMA athletes getting main stream endorsements.
by SilasM on Mar 20, 2009 1:48 PM EDT reply actions
Folks should realize the NSAC took no action.
Therefore, the fight was fair.
BJ Penn should starr in one of those “The Nanny” episodes where some girl from the UK shuts some American cry-baby.
“No BJ, no. Go to your room. Gee, maybe if your son did some sports he’d be less of a cry-baby.”
