"I’m going to be up in the Boston area shooting a movie called OxyMorons. I’m one of the main characters and will be up there for three weeks (filming) ... This is definitely going to be a busy year for myself in fighting. I’m looking to have three fights between now and the end of summer. I’m getting back in there and I’m looking to get into title contention in whatever organization I make a home ... They want me on the card for Affliction 3 – and I want to be on the card – but we don’t know about opponents or what’s going to happen yet."

-Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia talks to MMAWeekly about his busy year in and out of the fight game. In addition to boxing former Olympic gold medalist and world heavyweight boxing champion Ray Mercer at the Adrenaline III card from the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ on May 30, "The Maine-iac" will be starring in a film about OxyContin as well as keeping his MMA career afloat with Affliction or any other promotion still interested in the avid hunter and outdoorsman.

i wanna see sylvia get KTFO by anyone i went to a UFC way bacjk when sylvia was still champ i think it was 67 and man he was a complete prick he walked around with a bodyguard and the belt around his waist and some kid asked for a pix and he said wait till the autograph signing kid so i didnt even bother lol but A.Silva was so respectful man he had a posse and was the main event and the posse said no pix and he stoped and went out to take pix.lol

I’m sure Fedor’s take on the PPV’s is MUCH larger, therefore the smaller base salary.

Fedor made well over a million dollars for that fight. Those numbers were the official Affliction fight pay. They didn’t include what Fedor got paid from M-1 Global. He got a multi million dollar signing bonus from M-1 when he originally signed, and since the event was co promoted I think he got paid by them also. Im not sure if he he gets PPV kick backs like UFC champs, but from I heard Fedor made close to 1.5 million for that fight.

I do agree though, and if you look at the “Affliction 2” numbers, they are even more lop sided. I think Arlovski got 1.5 million for tht fight.

I know of a great match-up….Tim Sylvia vs Steve “Lambchop” Banks. Steve Banks is 6’5 265lbs and has a pro record of 3-1 according to www.mixedmartialarts.com He has met Sylvia in person and there is some mixed emotions between these guys. It would be a stand up fight for sure. Banks went 10-0 ammy with 8 fights won by KO/TKO with a 0:06 KO. I’d love to see Affliction or Adrenaline make this fight happen. Monte Cox knows how good Banks is.

I don’t know how anyone can support the movie Oxy Moron or even star in it knowing that JOHNNY HICKEY is a conman wanted in Colorado under the AKA Brent Conway for auto theft. He also likes to file false reports with the police so he can rob people. He stalks people, keys their car and is all in all just very crazy. Be careful and don’t let him fool you. Be aware, he is a danger to society and we all hope the police catch up with him soon and put him where he needs to be.
