GSP will be available on game covers in canada as some sort of special edition, and considering Forrest was the winner in what’s considered to be the greatest fight in mma history, which helped launch the UFC into the mainstream, Id say he deserves to be on the cover

Lee, Rob, I guess all the sponsors and fame that comes with having your face on a game means nothing. You guys seem to only look at it from one side. Just look at how many kids/adults that will know who Forrest is, when the game comes out. With more fame comes more sponsors which =’s MONEY!

Yes Karo is in it. Tito Ortiz as well. Also Matt Hughes & Shogun Rua have been shown as well. Go to IGN.com and search for UFC. They have a few new videos up. The first will go over all of the different styles in the game. The next six videos focus on the different styles individually. BTW…the game looks amazing and much more fluid in movement then it has looked.

According to X-BOX magazine its supposed to be aswome. Its not supposed to be the typical button smasher. It sounded like the controls will be similar to fight night. I hope it lives up to the hype. Well hell I didnt mind the first cheesy ss game for my play station so im sure this will be a good one

The Wii sucks too be honest , no HD , wont play dvds and it gets old quick imho … Would have been really nice if the games were HD and could use HDMI etc with it , buy all this HD receivers , TV’s , HD satellite etc and the Wii looks like shit on them.
Mine has so much dust on it thats its not even funny. My Wii is modded also and I dl all the games so atleast I dont have too pay for those , just like my 360 ..

It’s business! You need to have the face most familiar with the most amount of people and suprise… not all the people who are going to buy an XBOX360/PS3 game are not die hard MMA fans. I’d venture to guess, most people who buy this game will have never purchased a single Pay-per-view event. So, the best business decision is to put the most non pay-per-view face on the cover to attact that maximum amount of interest. It’s not any sort of insult, it’s what’s best for the product.

I would have bought this just cause I love the UFC … I have a xbox 360 thats modded so ill prolly just download the game now , id much rather had a current champion or multiple fighters on the cover … Is that a big a deal? SYLVIA code – Opponent craps his shorts.

I didn’t even have a PS3 and I had a copy reserved for me. I then went and bought a PS3. I can’t wait for this game, it looks like it’s going to be sweet.
There’s a lot of other fighters that deserve to be on the front, but doesn’t Griffin. He started at the bottom and got to the top. Didn’t stay there long, but isn’t that right.

everyone agrees griffin is not the best fighter nor the most popular but very recognizable thats why he is on the cover. As 4 rampage dana baby’s him and gives him everything already plus he stumbled through jardine and lost to forrest.Chuck is fading and so are randy and wandy(sadly)brazilian public doesn’t really know about a.silva although he is the best p4p fighter right now thats why he is not. bj penn is a baby who cant accept gsp is better than him thats why he is not.personally id like a collage of fighters or the overhead pic of chuck and wandy hitting each other at the same time.but it really doesn’t matter anyone who likes the ufc will buy it regardless.

i’m getting tired of seeing this statement. we all know that forest & bonner’s fight was amazing. one of the best damn fights ever. BUT BY ABSOLUTELY NO MEANS WHAT SO EVER!!!!!! is that fight rewsponsible for the rise of the UFC. if anything…. Chuck Liddell is responsible for the rise of UFC. that’s just a fact. many still haven’t even SEEn the fight between bonner and griffin. the fight was legendary. but two ‘no name strangers’ fighting for a contract is not what boosted the popularity of the UFC. everybody forgets how dominant Chuck was. outside of him, it was Matt Hughes. Chuck’s mowhawk, beleive it or not, was a HUGE marketing tool for the UFC.
