UFC 96 medical suspensions and injuries

The Ohio Athletic Commission (OAC) recently issued its list of medical suspensions for UFC 96: "Jackson vs. Jardine," which took place on Saturday, March 7 from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
With several of the bouts ending early, there were quite a few fighters who were flagged follow up visits with their doctors, including Mark Munoz -- who was put to sleep by a Matt Hamill head kick -- and Mike Patt -- who was literally chopped down with leg kicks from Brandon Vera.
Gabriel Gonzaga will also need to give his melon a rest after Shane Carwin pounded it en route to a brutal first round technical knockout. And Pete Sell didn’t get off easy either thanks to a lopsided ass-kicking courtesy of Matt Brown.
Here is the complete list of UFC 96 injuries and their medical instructions:
Mark Munoz -- The former Oklahoma State University (OSU) wrestling powerhouse is suspended for 60 days
Mike Patt -- He is suspended for 30 days
Gabriel Gonzaga -- "Napao" is suspended for 60 days
Pete Sell -- "Drago" is suspended for 30 days
Jason Day -- "Dooms" is suspended for 30 days
Ryan Madigan -- The Octagon newcomer has been suspended indefinitely because of an eye injury
Just a quick reminder: Fighters often return to action much quicker once doctors give them the green light. The lengthy suspensions are just a precaution in most cases.

What about rampage?? I see he’s not on the list and he stated he hyperextended his elbows and his jaw has been messed up since before the Wand fight. Is this because the UFC is trying to push Rampage Vs Evans because Mir got hurt?? Funny stuff!

Did I miss the part where Rampage got KTFO like everyone else on that list, except the guy who lost to leg kicks? He got beat up a little, but that’s to be expected when you fight a guy like Jardine for 15 minutes. That’s why he isn’t suspended.

he dislocated his jaw one week before the Wand fight in a sparring session with Hector “sick dog” Ramirez, they were going at it hard and Hector got in a uppercut on him.. he never told Dana about though, but it’s still a problem..

I was actually hoping for Page to get suspended here.. hope his manager and his training partners tells him to NOT take the fight at UFC 98! If the UFC really wanted that fight to happen they should just get it at UFC 100! but all they care about is cashing in on the PPV now that Mir and Lesnar won’t be on it.. Page will have to fight Machida and Rashad somewhere down the line anyways, any Rampage fan out there knows this is bad business if he takes the fight!

What is wrong with you people?? Why wouldnt he take the fight? He is not hurt..he didnt even have a mark on him. Everyone has little things here and there and the jaw might hurt him but its not gonna heal over 3 months..that takes a long long time..

same situation as Tito and you saw what happened to him.. when you’re fighting for the UFC’s LHW title, you can’t come in with problems like that

Rampage will fight if the dog has fight in him. Hes an animal. If he cant, then he cant. Oh well. Rashad is going down if he fights Machida or Page so it doesnt really matter.
The thing that surprises me is that Pete Sell only got 30 days. He took a the worst beating out of all of them.

He took the longest beating, but Munoz was the one who was absolutely laid out for 10 minutes. I was there in person and most everyone was thinking he was going out on a stretcher.
