Keep in mind the salaries listed above do not include fight bonuses, sponsorships, percentages and other unofficial payments. For example, fighters receive bonuses for "Submission of the Night," "Fight of the Night," and others.
In fact, UFC President Dana White announced at the post-event press conference that Hamill earned a $60,000 bonus for his stoppage of Munoz. Jackson and Jardine each earned an extra $60,000 for their scrap. By the end of the night, no fighter had tapped, snapped or napped -- so no submission bonus was awarded.
The total base fighter payroll for the UFC 96 was $762,000. The 17,033 fans in attendance paid a collective $1.8 million to watch the festivities live.
