The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) cast revealed for Season 9

With less than one month until its Spike TV debut on April 1 at 10 p.m. ET, the full 32-member cast of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 9 has been revealed via Yahoo Sports.
This season will feature a mix of lightweight and welterweight prospects who will compete in a tournament-style format until one man from each weight class is left standing at the TUF 9 Finale on June 20.
Similar to last season, the contestants will be expected to fight their way into the house in the first episode of the show. UFC middleweight contenders Dan "Hollywood" Henderson and Michael "The Count" Bisping will serve as opposing coaches.
One marked difference between Season 9 and its preceding installments is the "US vs. UK" format with coach Henderson leading a stateside team against coach Bisping and his British squad.
Hendo and Bisping are expected to face off later in the year to determine a number one contender for the 185-pound strap.
Check out the full TUF 9 cast after the jump.

theyve really got to do something different this season to keep me interested… last season i only watched like 2 episodes, it just seems like the same thing over and over again, immature house pranks, etc. the only thing i liked about last season was when everybody was yelling GOOOOAAALLL!!! at frank mir and then he got his panties all in a wad over it lol…

Sorry to piss on your bonfire mania (or the sources) but that list is wrong.
Tommy Maguire i know for a fact isn’t in the house. Saw him fight (and win) at the weekend.
He got beat in the ‘fight to get in the house’.
Dunno about the rest tho.
Will say one thing about team UK, watch out for Che Mills, he is a beast.

It says cast not housemates – even in the article it states in the first episode all the guys will be expected to fight for there place in the house ie. half of the 32 wont make it past ep 2 of the series.

Jason Dent used to be in the UFC. I think he fought and lost to Tibau and Huerta, but he looked pretty good and put up a good fight in both of those. Look for him to be tearing up the competition.

Dent is experience for sure. Another fighter that I know of there is Josh Souder, who coincidently lost to Dent in 2005 due to cut. Since the middle of 2006, Souder has only had one fight. Looks like he is trying to get back into the game – in the big leagues!

He actually makes into the show as a replacement, unfortunately.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Junie’s brother will be on the show even tho he wasn’t part of the original cast.

EASY ON THE SPOILERS. WTF. Some people actually like to WATCH the show to see what happens.
Why don’t you give me your email address, so that way I can send you an email letting you know which fighters are still alive in the TUF tournament. Or we can wait a couple more days and I’ll tell you who is in the finals. I know how to access this information (I am NOT sharing my sources) – but I do NOT want to. If you were going to be watching a fight, would you prefer to watch it knowing who wins, or not knowing who win? I would think the latter of the two. That is the problem with the TUF threads.

C’MON- SERIOUSLY.
MANIA – stop these kids from posting spoilers!
by ViolentMike on Mar 10, 2009 11:05 AM EDT up reply actions
Easy tiger!! To be fair these are only ‘spoilers’ for seeing who actually got in the house. No real biggy, a lot of those fights don’t even make the show.

jason dent has had a few fights in the ufc sure he got beat by roger hwerta and gleison tibau, i thought if u’ve had a few fights in the ufc u could’t apply for the show.

Joe Lauzon and Kevin Burns both come to mind (other than Season 4 of course, lol)
by ViolentMike on Mar 10, 2009 11:06 AM EDT up reply actions
wouldn’t a finale on July 4th be more appropriate?
by GREASER57 on Mar 9, 2009 3:06 PM EDT reply actions
Sure, if you want to wait around another 3 months to watch something that is already taped.

Apparently there’s going to be some TERRIBLE refereeing this season.

According to the mods at mmajunkie, Browning’s brother makes it on the show as either the 33rd or 34th fighter after someone fails to make weight.
by Jeff on Mar 9, 2009 3:21 PM EDT reply actions
Lets hope he is nothing like his brother cos he was a grade A cocksmoker
I’ll give the Che Mills crew a heads up, He is the real deal & I will be surprised if he dont win his devision

Geez none of the sites including Sherdog ever get our fighter’s records right. Ryan “Biggs” Bigler has a lot more fights than 3. He’s one of the most decorated prospects to ever come out of Guam.
