Huggie Bear rates his own performance against Nate Diaz, on a scale of 1 to 100.

Do to the current economic climate, the UFC has been forced to cut some costs, mainly, the ring girls. In their absence the UFC has asked fighters not fighting on a current card to take the ring girls place. First, up Clay Guida. The UFC hopes to return to the ring girl tradition soon.

was just going to mention the dude is huge i would love to know what he’s eating

by ruan-fiy on Mar 10, 2009 10:33 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Frank looks HUGE in the above picture. Even though I think it is shopped and cropped like a mofo…he is going to be way too big for Diaz. I am calling it a TKO round 2 for Shammy.

Frank will not finish diaz!

by Jizzo on Mar 9, 2009 11:18 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

size will matter in this one, i see frank being to big for nick

by randy murders on Mar 9, 2009 11:26 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

this will be like gsp vs. penn 2….size does matter

by tonydanza on Mar 10, 2009 12:32 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

IF Frank had no ground game, the size difference wouldnt matter quite as much. But Frank has been fighting MMA since Nick was like 10 years old. There are not too many submissions that Frank hasn’t seen.

Diaz by Triangle is the best shot that Nick got in this fight. OR, if the fight stays standing the entire time, Nick can try and pepper him from the outside to earn a decision. Regardless, I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THIS EVENT

by ViolentMike on Mar 10, 2009 10:29 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I am calling a stoppage…likely by a cut but the fight will end early and will not be in Nick’s favor.

by halljam2 on Mar 9, 2009 11:27 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

i dont see it ending early nicks gonna last awhile

by randy murders on Mar 9, 2009 11:35 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Nick has never been stopped, other than due to cuts against KJ. Its safe to say that everyone is rooting for nick to beat Frank. it wil be very tough for Nick and Frank is easily the favorite…but I dont think Frank will just walk through Nick. Nick is going to make it interesting. In the skill department Nick is as good or better than Frank. Frank has size and athleticism on his size. This is an interesting fight that I look forward to.

Striking = ABOUT equal
BJJ = Diaz
Wrestling = Shamrock
Size and Strength = Shamrock

come on frank dont be scared homey

by day1er on Mar 9, 2009 11:01 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Even though Nick has been my favorite fighter for years, I really don’t think that Frank is scared to fight someone that walks around at least 20 lb less than he does. However, Nick has been looking bigger lately, but of course, he will be no where close to the size of Frank.

by ViolentMike on Mar 10, 2009 10:33 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Frank is pathetic he is fighting someone that could fight at lightweight and might loose, and still makes fun of ken who is a legend and calls himself a legend when he is not.

by The Philicutioner on Mar 9, 2009 11:22 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

He won’t lose…the size advantage will be too much. I really do not like Shammy but he is skill wise above Diaz in almost every facet of the game. He might have better striking but Diaz’s KO power has been missing.

by halljam2 on Mar 9, 2009 11:30 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Franks just not a legend because Dana has made it that way.

Thomson vs. Melendez again… what has Gilbert Grape done recently to deserve a rematch with Thomson. Then again, I guess they don’t have anybody else to feed Thomson. I think I would have rather watched Diaz drop down and fight Thomson.

by UFCAddict on Mar 10, 2009 2:02 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

The Punk was supposed to fight KJ Noons, however, The BITCH turned the fight down, supposedly to pursue a boxing career.

What has Gilbert done? Nothing since their last fight because he hasn’t fought. New Years Eve 07/08 Gilbert was undefeated, 12 – 0 and was being talked about on ALL mma boards. Then he lost a decision to Ishida that night. He then destroyed an inferior Gabe Lemly and then had the Thomson fight. If you think Strikeforce has a better #1 contender, lets hear it. Josh/Gilbert 1 was a war, that Josh won decisively. I for one and just as excited to see the rematch as I was to watch the first fight. PS – Thomson was +300 in thier first fight and I had action on him – but of course, not enough, but then again, is it ever enough when you win your bet???
