Cant wait for this countdown show. If I could only chose 1 fighter to be followed around with a camera it would be Rampage hands down!
caol Uno training with Freddie Roach!

I definitely will not be watching this countdown, as well as not ordering the PPV. HIGH FIVE!!!!

i will give u a ‘high five’ on that one el mexi..~weak card~
aside from the gonzaga-carwin fight~ i am not too interested in the fights..
i will be watching though.. i have a couple bets and i never miss a ufc..
but i will most likely be watching at a resturant..
mexi~ u will be watching right?? just not ordering??

Stinky, who you like in the Maynard/Miller fight and the Munoz/Hamill fight???
I am a fan of the dogs in both of those fights.

vm~
i am staying away from those two fights..~ i dont have much action on the night..
i feel both have good potential but i dont really see either dogs winning.
if i was to choose one i would go with miller..
the dogs i like and am betting on are~
doomsday~ carwin~ and small on patt..
i was thinking of stringing together a parlay with,
doomsday~carwin and rampage or carwin~miller and jackson
but i didnt do up any parlays..
imo~ i would stay away from those two fights u mentioned..
i feel manyard and hammil will both win..
both are hard to finish~ and can fight hard for 15 min.

Yeah, they are tough, but like you said, I can see Maynard laying on Miller to get the decision, but Miller BJJ is always very dangerous.
As for Mark Munoz, I sincerely think that he is going to make a splash in the UFC. The problem being, you can not stop Matt Hamill by hitting him in the head. We’ve only seen him crumble due to body shots (Franklin).
I don’t think its a bad idea to lay small equal bets on Munoz, Miller, Day, Carwin.
If two of them win, you end up winning decent money.

…I have a 5 fight parlay.. Mccrory,vera,hamil,grove,jackson… I think it’s a fairly safe bet… not really such a thing as a “safe” 5 team or fight parlay… but i think it’s got a shot.

Vm: I am not really all that qualified to help you out with these fights. I dont think I have ever seen Munoz fight.
I will be betting a small amount on Miller and Carwin….but I honestly believe that Kendall is going to beat doomsday. Kendall is pissed, and FOcused and I think he is a talented guy with a good skill set and unique physical characteristics for a middleweight… He is one of the bets I feel most comfortable about!

if kendall wins it imo will be via sub..
doomsday will have grove on his back at some point..
actually i feel doomsday will win tko from g&p..
if not and it goes to the score cards?? i think j-day will win on points.
i do like kendall as well though..

DoomsDay looked mighty impressive in his first UFC fight and he had me on the wagon. I bet a few bucks that he’d upset Bisping. Boy, was I on the wrong side of a one sided beat down on that one! Fighters that have lost me money usually stand out in my mind.
When you see him, you might remember him. His past two WEC fights (and only 2 WEC fights) were both televised, against Barros and the Reverend Chuck Grisby.

Not sure of that either. I have a late birthday party to got to. If not I’ll catch the fights the next day online somewhere.

i hear ya~
not enough hype around this card to get excieted about..
it definitely has potential to be a ‘watch the next day online’ event.
hopefully the ufc is setting up a big show for 100 with cards like this.
at least we got the montreal card to look forward to~
some good fights on that card..

Yeah in front of the cameras rampage for sure, but id like him to show the same respect to the fans when hes not on camera, ie, when i ask him for a photo that will take 5 secs then he takes, the place was no where near full and he could easily have stopped!!!!!!!
I like rampage and that annoys me more cos, if my fav fighter the ICEMAN done that to me id be gutted!!

surprised they are putting Okami back on main card…he deserves to be there imo but its confusing as to what the UFC plans to do with him….beating Dan imo would warrent an overdue title shot
by McArthur on Mar 5, 2009 8:21 AM EST reply actions
P.S Those aren’t my rankings
MANIA…it would be cool if you had your own rankings that we as Mania faithfulls could vote on…I know this idea has been thrown around before but it has never gone anywhere. What do ya think?
by McArthur on Mar 5, 2009 8:23 AM EST reply actions
Boetsch should be on the main card !!!damn I hope Rampage wins this .. I just wish he would stop pullin those "how scary do I look faces at the camera all the time " .. cant wait 4 Carwin vs Gonzaga either

Jackson is one of my favorite fighters but I just got to say he has one huge head. Everyone makes fun of Tito’s giant melon but Jackson looks like an upside down weeble wobble.
