Pretty sweet poster. Better than that Dream/Led Zeppelin rip off.

This poster is weak. Dreams is much better no matter if it is a rip off!

Uh, no. Good try.

I dont get why people are not excited about the thales vs. Anderson fight!
anderson has been fighting cans for the past year. Finally, he faces a legit top 5 fighters, and no one cares?
YOu guys need to stop taking Anderson for granted! you guys are going to miss him when he retires!
hOpefully anderson’s next fight is against the winner of Shogun/Liddell

There’s a hidden swastika in this poster. Look at the crop lines on each of the photos.

Hopefully Sho Gun starts showing signs of his old self that fight is huge for both fighters the loser will drop out of the top contender radar fast.

if shogun fights like he did against coleman then i think liddell will ko or tko him easy.i am also excited to see cane fight again.
by NM on Mar 3, 2009 10:58 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
chuck liddel is finished, hes getting old and im sure he doesnt train all that good, but he can still end it with one punch, i guess it all depends if sho gun wants to take is cardio seriously, otherwise KHTFO CHUCK!

Cant wait to see the beating that Shogun will unleash on chuck!
btw, I like Thales’s chances!
Cant wait to see Banha!

You are crazy John! Shogun is going to get lit up if he doesn’t show up prepared for a war. Neither can afford to lose this one.
by stevo on Mar 4, 2009 11:12 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
chuck is getting submitted! i know, I know…chuck has great takedown defense, but mostly against wrestlers. Shogun is going to use a jits trip to get chuck on the ground where Shogun is light years ahead of him in skill!
by john on Mar 4, 2009 11:47 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I think with a name like Redemption, even the UFC expects Chuck to KO Shogun, and if Shogun hasn’t improved drastically, he will.
by naturalshadow on Mar 4, 2009 11:50 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
oh yea, that’s why they even made the fight happen.. they saw how bad Shogun looked and they thought yeees! Chuck is gonna knock this guy out.. but it ain’t gonna happen!! =)
by RoB on Mar 4, 2009 12:06 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Chuck was given this fight because after Shogun’s last two performances, it’s the only fight they know Chuck can win. He HAS to have a win before 100. Do you really think they’d do 100 without Chuck? And he has to be in the win column in order to have any marketability whatsoever.
by RU486 on Mar 4, 2009 1:22 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I agree….the plan for Chuck is if Jardine some how beats Rampage and than Chuck Beats Shogun that Chuck vs Jradine 2 at 100….if Chuck beats Jardine than you have Chuck vs winner of Rashad vs Machida at the Dec end of the year show.
by Robert(1) on Mar 4, 2009 9:03 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Yup Robert and a Shogun/Rampage rematch would probably happen in that case as well.
by stevo on Mar 4, 2009 11:09 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
agreed….funny how Rampage always states how he was hurt for the Wandy fights but says nothing about the Shogun loss.

FUCKING AWESOME MAIN EVENT! Liddell v Shogun I am talking about :)
I would also put money on Leites … GnP or Submission TKO Rd 2.
by DownUnder on Mar 3, 2009 10:20 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
damn it i have a feeling that leites its going to pull of a submission

Anderson looks fat. He better fight at LHW ASAP!
by Syd[a.k.a."The Negation"] on Mar 3, 2009 10:20 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
You can only see his shoulders how does he look fat?
by Cogito Ergo Sum on Mar 4, 2009 8:10 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
this is assuming that this is actually a new picture of Silva and not an old image that the UFC had already!
by john on Mar 4, 2009 9:22 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Uhm, face looks bloated?
by Syd[a.k.a."The Negation"] on Mar 4, 2009 6:07 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
A great idea for this poster would be a BIG spiderweb with Leites tangled up and a spider with Silva’s head crawling towards him.
by Steve Chandler! on Mar 3, 2009 10:25 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
Awesomeee
Silva early 2nd rd tko
Either chuck by tko or shogun decision

by Jason on Mar 3, 2009 10:49 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
yes it is!!! dont blink in that fight
shogun by kneebar!!

Spider by TKO 1st round
I’m lost on Shogun vs Liddell…being a Chuck fan, I’d like to see him get a good KO or TKO win before retiring, but this fight has too many variables…has age finally caught up to Chuck? Has Shogun gotten his cardio together? Can Chuck put the KO loss to Rashad behind him? I just feel like this is a bad fight…I think it goes to a controversial decision! I just have a really bad feeling about this fight like someone is going to be emarassed I just don’t know who….maybe both!
by Chadx23 on Mar 3, 2009 11:59 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
I am not really a Chuck fan and said that Jardine and Rashad would both beat him, but Shogun will not see the end of the second round against Chuck. Shoguns performance against Coleman wasn’t any better that his performance against Forrest. It was only because he was fighting old man Coleman he got the victory. Chuck would have knocked Coleman unconcious. Shoguns performances were absolutly embarrasing. Jardine had an amazing gameplan against Chuck, using his strenghth which are his kicks to get him the victory. There are not that many fighters with the skill to get away with that against Chuck. Rashad beat Chuck to the punch with a solid shot, if he hadn’t of thrown it when he did, he could have very easily been the one lying on the floor. Lookng at Shoguns past couple of performances, there wasn’t really any impropvement. I do not see him having a gameplan anywhere near as effective as Jardines, and I really do not think he is capable of ending the fight with the striking skills that gave Ramapage and Rashad their victories against Chuck. Easy win for Chuck.

Does anyone know if Shogun has changed camps for this fight? Maybe he is training in the US for this one.

It’s a sweet looking poster.
Weak card = Sweet Poster
Does this mean UFC 100 will have a crappy poster?
by RU486 on Mar 4, 2009 1:20 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
did you really say this is a weak card??? really? WOW! I never thought id see the day whensomeonw would actually say that Anderson Silva, Chuck Liddell and Shogun Rua would = a weak card!

First of all, 2005 was the year when a Shogun and Chuck fight would have been the most exciting. Immediately after Shogun won the GP and Chuck was still murdering people left and right. Now it’s still very exciting, though. I think Shogun is going to make Chuck a very tired man in this fight. That is my prediction. He may also make Chuck a very retired man.
by AA on Mar 4, 2009 1:28 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
Sorry AA I meant 2005. I was gonna correct it but figured nobody would catch it… Good Job!
by BK on Mar 4, 2009 1:46 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Though it would be safer to bet that Chuck will stick around for at least one more fight regardless of how the defeat goes down (if he’s defeated). I think Chuck’s only good chance in this fight is if Shogun’s conditioning is not at all improved. Otherwise this fight is going to the ground and going there often.
by AA on Mar 4, 2009 1:30 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
AA, Chuck has very good takedown defense. I think this fight will remain on the feet. Not sure who will win though.
by ProKev on Mar 4, 2009 5:31 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
huh? the ground with Chuck? I would be shocked!!! Even if Shogun gets Chuck down, it aint staying there for more than 5 seconds….this fight is going to a decision or it will end with a KO/Tko finish…
by Chadx23 on Mar 4, 2009 9:44 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
i like shogun but ive come to realise he has pretty shiddy striking and i think liddell if he actually has any knockout power left in his old fragile body will just counter shogun and i think hell get the tko
by Jared on Mar 4, 2009 7:25 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
great poster better than the original
i think the ufc should have the fans make the design of the posters and we pick which one we want for a event or two

Well if the rumours of Anderson vs Chuck to headline UFC 100 are true, that means that if and when Shogun beats Chuck, then it will be Shogun vs Anderson at UFC 100! Not mad at that!!! I dont see how UFC an make Chuck vs ANderson when shogun beats Chuck. They have no toher choice but to make SHogun vs Anderson. However, i dont know how good of friends they are, i know they trained for a bit together with Chute Boxe. I thought SHogun cornered Anderson a couple tiems in Pride, or was it Wand? Either way, id love to see that fight! Its a win win either way. IF Shogun loses to Anderson, there wont be no “shame” or reprucussions from the UFC as far as termination because you lost to the #1 pound for pound fighter in the world. If Shogun wins, then Anderson he will have lost to a more experienced 205er and the former #1 light heavy weight in the world! Please oh please make this fight happen for UFC 100. Or rather, Shogun dont lose at 97!
by Adam on Mar 4, 2009 11:46 AM EST reply actions 0 recs
Not sure about Shogun, but I know Wandy cornered Silva a couple times.
by Diceman on Mar 4, 2009 11:57 AM EST up reply actions 0 recs
no anderson silva was one of the first camps at chute boxe shogun was like the fifth silva was training around maybe brother ninja and w.silva but he was out of chute boxe before shogun came.that is a very stupid match up to put a.silva vs shogun/chuck he is the mddleweight champ waht if he gets ktfo or ktfo’s them.IMO i think the ufc shouldnt let champs move up weight class well they are still champs.
