Thats the bell, amazing action in that round these guys are on a furious pace. That round is too close to call, Kampmann had more submissions but Condit did more damage. Ill lean towards Condit but it could go either way.

Round two: Kampmann with a take down. Kampmann with an elbow. Condit has full guard. Kampmann lands some punches. Back to the feet and Condit lands a good right. Big kick from Condit. Condit with an elbow and Kampmann with a right. WOW Huge front kick to the face of Kampmann. Take down from Condit and BIG elbow from Condit. But somehow Kampmann slips out and is now in Condits full guard. WOW amazing action. Kampmann postures up looking for punches. Thats the bell, another great great round. Nice big elbow from Bader. Bader looking for another take down and their in a north south position on the ground. Bader back on top and thats the bell. Not the most exciting fight what so ever but none the less Ryan Bader's take down and ground skills are beastly. This kid is going to be a force once he refines his stand up game and learns some submission skills.

Final result: Ryan Bader defeats Carmelo Marrero via Unanimous Decision

Griffin favoring his left and lead leg now after the leg lock from Dos Anjos. Great flying knee from Dos Anjos. Good 1st round, great action id say Griffin won that one 10-9 but Dos Anjos finished strong and could have hurt Griffin's knee so well see how it affects him for the rest of the fight.

by mhk on Feb 25, 2009 1:35 PM EST reply actions

he’s fought a lot of tough comp before and has also survived virtual defeat via his ground game…he’ll be fine or at least I hope so as I’m a big fan

by McArthur on Feb 25, 2009 1:42 PM EST up reply actions

I got
Condit by UD
Bader by TKO
Miller by Sub
Not sure on the Efrain/Heathen fight. Gut instincts say go with Heathen, so that must mean that Efrain will win. Hoping for a good fight, Heathen by TKO.
Tyson by TKO
Almeida by dec.
Larson by sub
The rest I don’t know/care much about, just hoping for some good fights and some FINISHES!!! Hope I get to see Tyson fight though…This is his first time being on a free card right?

by Synyster on Feb 25, 2009 1:46 PM EST up reply actions

Kampmann via slaughter!!

by The_Cannibal on Feb 25, 2009 3:25 PM EST up reply actions

Syd- HOW the hell is Junie going to beat Cole????

by Synyster on Feb 25, 2009 3:59 PM EST up reply actions

Simple. Junies gonna punch Cole in the face a bunch till he taps. I think they call it a hmm…TKO?

by BrutalKnockout. on Feb 25, 2009 4:43 PM EST up reply actions

Why are all the worthless fighters and the least interesting fights on the main card? This sucks a$$.

by NameNotRequired on Feb 25, 2009 6:08 PM EST up reply actions

Synyster: In this sport, upsets are common. Remember when I called the upset on Kos last weekend?

by Syd[a.k.a."The Negation"] on Feb 25, 2009 7:32 PM EST up reply actions

Miller is such a LOCK, Junie well give up in the second and just allow himself to be submitted.

by BMO on Feb 26, 2009 12:18 AM EST up reply actions

Most of the card can go either way except poor little junie has no chance against Cole.

by Eds119 on Apr 1, 2009 3:21 PM EDT up reply actions

Howdy Bitches!! Long time no see. I got Miller by murder in this one.

by chefdaddy on Apr 1, 2009 8:15 PM EDT up reply actions

i would prefer to see the griffin, almeida, larson, and osterneck fights over the junie and bader fights. hopefully we get some knockouts and they televise like 8 fights

by Crowls on Feb 25, 2009 1:44 PM EST up reply actions

That was my first thought too. There are a lot of interesting fights on this card and I really hope we get to see them.

by GregC on Feb 25, 2009 1:52 PM EST up reply actions

really wanted to see this, but dont have spike over here, and its impossible to find online,so pisssed off right now!!

by bons on Apr 1, 2009 9:34 PM EDT up reply actions

Agreed!

by BritishBulldog on Feb 25, 2009 1:59 PM EST up reply actions

tyson griffen has always been fun to watch and is a top contender in 155 (should be diago’s next opponet) it should be a crime to put junie on the main card if some one like tyson is on the under card.

by Blazy J on Feb 25, 2009 3:08 PM EST up reply actions

Ya for sure tyson griffin is 10 times the fighter junie browing is. That guy is trash hopefully he gets knocked the fck out so we don’t have to watch his shitty fights anymore.

by LG on Feb 25, 2009 5:21 PM EST up reply actions

It is indeed a crime Blazy J, but I believe their goal here is to showcase the newbies. baptism of fire baby!

by Syd[a.k.a."The Negation"] on Feb 25, 2009 7:31 PM EST up reply actions

I think its a Crime most of those fights are being televised over Griffin!

by BK on Feb 25, 2009 7:34 PM EST up reply actions

Does anyone really want to watch Bader lay n pray on another fighter again?

by BK on Feb 25, 2009 7:35 PM EST up reply actions

Bader ain’t just a lay’n prayer. He’s turning out to be a knockout artist, and a heavy one at that.

by Syd[a.k.a."The Negation"] on Feb 25, 2009 7:40 PM EST up reply actions

*heavy-handed one…

by Syd[a.k.a."The Negation"] on Feb 25, 2009 7:40 PM EST up reply actions

I hope your right

by BK on Feb 25, 2009 7:44 PM EST up reply actions

thats exactly what i was thinking, you got some tuf guys on there first card outside of the tuf finals and they get main card over tyson, ricardo,or even larson and the osterneck fight i think will be a exciting one.

by roy on Feb 25, 2009 2:03 PM EST up reply actions

yea, osterneck impressed me in the wec fight with that ugly guy, can’t think of his name right now. But Rivera is a gamer. He usually has entertaining fights and he won me a bunch of money a year ago when he KO’d Grove. That was an easy bet IMO. Guys coming off of TUF are great for betting on(at least for real fans). The casual fans will push the line based on name recognition.

by Crowls on Feb 25, 2009 4:29 PM EST up reply actions

condit isn’t as bad as people on here say he just needs to add some weight to him and he’ll be a force at 170

by randy murders on Feb 25, 2009 1:48 PM EST up reply actions

I have always wondered how Condit would do in the UFC. This is a going to be a great fight. Also Tim McKenzie and Aaron Simpson should be great as well. My guess is they get KO of the night.

by Bluepit on Feb 25, 2009 2:19 PM EST up reply actions

yeah carlos! It’s about time i have been waiting for the ufc to incorperate theses guys. I really want to see a better showing than sonnen and finnaly get some well deserved respect out of the WEC.
Didn’t like the change to Arizona but can understand it. War Bourque fighters!!! 505 aint nothin to fuck with!!

by johnny5 on Feb 25, 2009 5:27 PM EST up reply actions

it’s been a while since i’ve been as excited for a fight as i am for condit/kampmann. kampmann shouldn’t be judged by the loss to marquardt…marquardt is a beast, probably second best middleweight in the world. but kampmann at 170 is scary and condit’s going to be jacked for his ufc debut. match that with the fact that they can both take ridiculous punishment and dish out beatings at the same time and scramble in and out of submissions on the ground and we got a fight of the year recipe. jmo

by tha spida on Feb 25, 2009 11:14 PM EST up reply actions

Ummm….did anyone else notice after the Griffin fight (never seen that leg compression before, looked nasty) when they panned in to ‘ol Chucky, that he didn’t blink the entire time. Looked a little……messed up (?) so to speak.

by chefdaddy on Apr 1, 2009 8:59 PM EDT up reply actions

I can’t wait to see Bader’s proggression, I think he will do way better than Hamill at 205.

by Puck Head on Feb 25, 2009 1:37 PM EST reply actions

I agree puck head. I picked Bader to win from the start, even when he had to fight Vinny. He’s a pretty sick wrestler, with a ton of power and a sh@tload of potential! He should do really well in the UFC.

by allamerican on Feb 25, 2009 2:09 PM EST up reply actions

I agree as well, wrestlers seem too adapt easier to MMA than any other style. Combined with great athletic ability he’s going to be a top contender two years from now. This card should be a enjoyable mainly to watch the young MMA fighters potential.

by Beaver on Feb 25, 2009 4:37 PM EST up reply actions

Same here allamerican! I picked Bader right off the bat not because I saw potential immediately, but believe it or not, I picked him because I liked his monicker, “Darth”. Im a fan of Star Wars[especially Darth Vader, Darth Maul sux!]and I liked his intro tape before he got into the TUF. this guy will dominate, just wait…

this card is stacked for a ufc, cant wait i just wish it was of the 3 hour variety so we could get an extra guranteed fight, although there are a bunch of fights on the undercard i wanna see.

by matt on Feb 25, 2009 1:41 PM EST reply actions

Seriously, this needs to be three hours. Too many potentially good fights with not enough must see fights.

by DDT on Feb 25, 2009 1:48 PM EST up reply actions

by DDT on Feb 25, 2009 1:48 PM EST up reply actions

That’s your own problem, Kenflo fan. I think this is a great card for an UFN, the top 4 undercard fights all look really entertaining, some of them more so than the main card fights. This card is looking really good to me.

by Amos on Feb 25, 2009 1:55 PM EST up reply actions

i think they wanna showcase 2 TUF veterans because the show starts after this card.. hence why there is so many MW’s on the card, there probably will be a 185lb TUF season

by randy murders on Feb 25, 2009 2:00 PM EST up reply actions

Griffin/Sherk was a very good scrap too. Very close.

by bostommmajunkie on Feb 25, 2009 2:02 PM EST up reply actions

by Blazy J on Feb 25, 2009 3:14 PM EST up reply actions

I don’t see why they have only four three round fights anyway. I would hope the Griffen fight gets added on to the live card and most likely they will have one or two replay’s of the best undercard fights during the telecast? I wish another channel like the fitenetwork could telecast the undercard fights for all the hardcore fan’s.

I agree with Griffin and Almeida but I don’t know about Larson. I seen him lose to Condit and win a DQ against John Alessio, other than that I don’t know much about him. What fights did he have that were good? I’m always interested in learning about fighters I’m not familiar with.
