Alejarra is key here. He fixed up the question mark around his cardio. Hopefully he can do the same for shogun. But both theses guys are awesome and i can’t wait for wand to start another crazy reign at 185.

Best recent wand story – he was at a fight show in vegas and there was brazilian dude fighting but he didn’t have a corner coz he could barely afford a ticket here much less bringing people so Wand gets up and corners him. How awesome is this guy?

wow! Great story man! u r dead on the money that Alejarra is Key and I am expecting him to fix shogun’s cardio problem for the Chuck fight.

I hear that Maia has a good chin as well….like you guys said he has all the tools and people around him to become a champion. I love the way he represents the sport and any organization would should be honored to have a classy Kat like him as their champion!

I don’t think anyone can fix Shogun in time for Chuck. We still don’t know exactly how bad his knee is. He may never be the same.

I say Marquardt gets his shot at Silva and Maia get’s Leites after he loses to Silva?

You know that is a great match up actually- One thing is for sure im not doubting Maia ground game at all and i do believe that he is the best ground fighter in MMA but i also do believe that the quality of fighters givin to Maia makes maia look so much more than he really is… Put him up against someone who is a Blackbelt on the ground like Leites, Palherez and Almada and then see how great is ground game really is.. till he beats one of these guyz i don’t think that he deserves a title shot over Nate or Hendo

After Silva beats Leites he should fight Okami…after he beats him then he fights winner of Marquardt – Maia.

Okami + Nate have a couple of wins in a row and Maia has 5 I think. Why would you do that order

First off, I’m actually impressed with Maia’s English. Oh yeah, and his SICK jits…lol

Secondly, I think it’s cool that he is working with Wandy, but seriously if Wandy never utilizes it in a fight, what’s the point. IMO Wandy SHOULD try and use more Jits in the Octagon but he just stands there and wings looping punches. Maybe that’ll work when you’re young and in Pride but he’s been knocked out brutally in several of his last few fights and it seems he has concusion syndrome or whatever it’s called…you know, where Football players and Hockey players get concussions over and over with less trauma, as their careers go on.

If Wandy wants to stay in the game and be relevant at all, he is going to need to find a more effective strategy. At this point it would make sense to incorporate more Jits along with his aggressiveness so that he can change levels, make an opponent think, and then when he gets his opponent down, use the gnarly GnP that we all know he has.
