i’m gonna be p!ssed off when this game comes out, and these retards put themselves playing this game on youtube. i get fooled sometimes when i see henderson vs liddell and it’s a stupid game when i click on it. i’d think i’d missed the fight but it’s these game nerds putting themselves on youtube.

i think the take downs look weak and not very smooth but the stand up fighting looks complete and very fast and smooth
i cant wait to play this game though… what excites me the most is that you can get a 1-punch knock out (no health bars) its more real….. also the fact that you can be losing and pull off a submission

Is it me or does the game engine for this game seem to look weaker every time they show new footage? The first Clip we ever saw with Chuck and Rampage was so slick looking and the movements seemed more crisp. This is looking like an old WWF game the more I see it. I really hope it turns out good though…

My thoughts exactly. The more I see of the game, the less interested I am.

I completely agree. Dont get me wrong, I’m gonna buy it. But, every time they show new footage (usually a fight preview) I begin thinking it’s gonna be a bit of a letdown.

disagree, those were prerendered graphics, like cut scenes or intro video. what you’re seeing now is gameplay footage and it’s starting to look smoother and smoother to me. Gameplay has to respond to the controls so it’s never gonna look as good. With the cutscenes they can basically make it look like Shrek. The graphics need some pollish but the fighters movement looks pretty smooth. They shoulda had EA do it in my opinion and based it off the Fight Night engine. Great boxing series. We’ll see how the final product comes out, it’s always tough to tell until u play it.

I agree that they should have had EA do it the fight night series is probably the best boxing game out there in my opinion. With that being said I was going to get this game when it comes out but I agree with Jono at this point. Everytime I see a preview for the game my “want level” goes way down.

I don’t agree with EA, the movement in the Fight night series is alot less tha nit is in this game, I think they went with the right developer.

Still don’t understand how they’re going to get the submission/submission defense portion of the game to work well at all. It’s not like creating a strictly standup fighting game. MMA is way more tricky when it comes to a video game adaptation.

I hope this game has online updates or else it is going to be terrible.
With how fast the MMA world changes, they need to have some kind of on-the-fly monthly updates for rosters/records/weight classes/title holders/etc.

I hate it when Joe says that Stevenson has great striking, cause it’s far from great.. I guess Dana and the others tells him to lie!

I don’t play many video games any more except sport games. I wasn’t even going to buy a Playstation 3, but I am now just because of this game. I can’t wait, I’m buying one next month.
