Lets see…I hate Randy, cant stand his wife, so its only natural that I root against his son!

War all opponents of the couture’s!

He isn’t. He just had his second amateur fight.

I’m excited to see if Ryan can fill his dad shoes, though I don’t think that’s consuming his mind. Bright kid, good fighter, could go a long way.

how old is he?

by newfie on Feb 16, 2009 7:55 PM EST reply actions

thats what i was wondering. but i cant help but wonder with the training couture will be giving him i cant see nothing but good things, who knows maybe hell have a shiddy chin. but youd think that randy being as experienced as he is would know how to make a superfighter.

From what I found, he is 26 years old. Still relatively young. I believe he competes at 155 as well.

I think Ryan is a bit stupid for not letting his Dad train him :S

by Arubian on Feb 16, 2009 9:26 PM EST reply actions

i think your a bit stupid. he and randy said he was to busy…if i trained with a bunch of guys i wouldn’t change what i was doing for a day or 2 here and there just to train with my dad…especially close to peak and the fight…you need a good plan and fight strategy..with no distractions or contradictions from team members about certain aspects of the training. im sure he will train with randy when randy slows down. and that’s not to say he don’t work out with him and get pointers.
