Remember that MMAmania.com will provide LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the main card action later on this evening.

See you then!

$300 Lauzon
$100 Rumble
$25 Emerson

and a bunch of parlay’s all involving Cain. I need to get odds on Tibau! I want to bet big on him!

i’d take rosholt as an underdog too he may not win but if he does its a good payout

by randy murders on Feb 7, 2009 12:51 PM EST up reply actions

better be careful betting against clementi, the guy knows how to win

by brendan on Feb 7, 2009 1:17 PM EST up reply actions

Do the odds seem a bit light on Lauzon? Shouldn’t he be a bigger favorite? And what’s up with Velasquez? Is he really that big a favorite?

by Freddy on Feb 7, 2009 2:20 PM EST up reply actions

YES, as he should be. He is a monster, and he is fighting some short pudge.

This is a pretty tough card to bet on IMO. I got a lot riding on Cain, and a small parlay of Cain/Lauzon.

I was working out a couple parlay scenarios looking for a big payout with a dog or two winning. Its usually about the same odds as playing the lotto.

Randy, I would love to see Jake win, but I just can’t bring myself to put money on a wrestler facing a BJJ guy

by ViolentMike on Feb 7, 2009 3:50 PM EST up reply actions

I’m paying attention to this parlay:

Cain/Kurt/Riddle/Fioravanti

paying out almost 9-1

by ViolentMike on Feb 7, 2009 3:58 PM EST up reply actions

Brendan: I almost never bet against Clementi, but I am real big on Tibau! Dont see either fighter getting the submission….Tibau is the bigger stronger dude and that will probably be the difference because clementi has the skills to neutralize Tibau’s skills…I dont like to put much emphasis on Size and strength, but I se eit being the difference in this fight. Its going to be a close one thats going to the judges score card!

by john on Feb 7, 2009 4:10 PM EST up reply actions

Damn 9-1! That seems pretty likely. I picked all those guys to win.

by DB on Feb 7, 2009 4:29 PM EST up reply actions

I guess its a go then!!!!

Add Jake and its 25 to 1

by ViolentMike on Feb 7, 2009 4:42 PM EST up reply actions

JOHN, Tibeau opened at EVEN money!!!!

Add him to the parlay above and its 18.5 to 1

by ViolentMike on Feb 7, 2009 4:45 PM EST up reply actions

Remainder of Free Play balance wagered on Gleison…

by ViolentMike on Feb 7, 2009 4:48 PM EST up reply actions

THanks for the heads up VM. I will definitely be wagering on that parlay! Too nice of a reward not to risk a lil something something!

by john on Feb 7, 2009 6:57 PM EST up reply actions

probably replace kurt with Emerson in the parlay

by john on Feb 7, 2009 7:17 PM EST up reply actions

Next fight booked should be:
Emerson vs. LIl Heathen! That would be a brutal stand up War!

by john on Feb 7, 2009 7:18 PM EST up reply actions

Emerson? why, stephens is where the value is at especially for a parlay. Pellegrino is gonna whoop that ass.

by NameNotRequired on Feb 7, 2009 12:57 PM EST up reply actions

Danzig or Neer is a sucker bet, just look at the odds!

Riddle will either ride Bruno for a decision since he is bigger and stronger and a better wrester, or he can win by TKO. I got Bruno only able to win by submission. Wish I could have seen Riddle and Rosholt practice defending arm bars and triangle chokes this past week – sure would make is a LOT easier to bet on…

by ViolentMike on Feb 7, 2009 4:10 PM EST up reply actions

Its only $25…. I hate Emerson, but his hands scare me, and I think he improves a olt from one fight to the next. Clearly Batman is the favorite but I smell an upset brewing!

Im actually alreday starting to change my mind on a lot of the bets, so who knows what I am going to end up betting. I do know I love J-Lau in this fight.

Luigi is starting to scare me, but I see Rumble as a rising star, and If I really believe that, then he cant be losing fights to Luigi. GOtta stick with Rumble, but probably bet a much smaller amount.

Cain is impossible to bet on! No doubt he will win, but he has NO value to him. I will just include him in one of my many parlays!

Believe it or not, I think Riddle is a good bet! I like rosholt but Miller scares me!

by john on Feb 7, 2009 4:14 PM EST up reply actions

All I can say about that from my standpoint is CAIN BETTER NOT LOSE!!!

I was going to bet big on Fitch last event cuz he was a lock, but I didn’t, and missed out on easy money.

by ViolentMike on Feb 7, 2009 4:50 PM EST up reply actions

What Cain has an arlovski chin? That’s what i need to see from him in this fight. I wanna know if he’ll be OK when he gets tagged by a decent punch. Aside from that, he’s a future champ.

by NameNotRequired on Feb 7, 2009 6:31 PM EST up reply actions

denis stonjnic for the upset 100%…lol that is the best bet and this guy is a beast you guys that don’t know him will find out very quick…not taking anything away from valesques cause hes a monster too!

by Breton on Feb 7, 2009 7:37 PM EST up reply actions

Luigi at +250 is a damn good bet. He is a tough guy and has shown some improvement. I wouldn’t be surprised if he finishes Rumble easily.

by c-war on Feb 7, 2009 12:37 PM EST reply actions

Agree with that, Johnson is overrated and overhyped. Ill put some money on Luigi.

by Lester the Pimp on Feb 7, 2009 12:52 PM EST up reply actions

how can you say that? the dudes an animal luigi had problems with diego’s striking and rumble will give him more

by randy murders on Feb 7, 2009 1:14 PM EST up reply actions

Ok Diego TKOed him with knees. Besides the fact that Diego is twice the fighter Rumble is, Luigi is the man to bet on here. I believe this will be a lop sided fight in Luigi’s favor.

by c-war on Feb 7, 2009 1:34 PM EST up reply actions

I was thinking the same thing. I am not sure who is making these odds but Luigi in my mind if anything should be the favorite. He can take a shot and is durable.

by JB on Feb 7, 2009 3:47 PM EST up reply actions

you know how we can watch the pre lims online somewhere???
as we all will only see 4 fights since it’s only 2 hours, usually it’s 3 hours

by GORANDY on Feb 7, 2009 1:12 PM EST reply actions

I thought this was a lame card and you weren’t watching?

by mike22 on Feb 7, 2009 3:11 PM EST up reply actions

what you guys need to do is put your money on Luigi, Stephens, and Emerson. These guys are all legit and their matchups are pretty even.

by pickle on Feb 7, 2009 1:15 PM EST reply actions

how many fights you all think we will see on spike 4 or 5?

by GORANDY on Feb 7, 2009 1:17 PM EST reply actions

HELP!

i’ve never been much a gambler, just straight win/lose bets with friends, family, neighbors.

But i would like to try my hand at betting on some MMA.

Can someone explain to me how it all works, lol.

parlays, lines, etc.

thanks.

by SoCalStunNa on Feb 7, 2009 2:13 PM EST reply actions

Bet the house on all the guys with pluses.

by El Mexicutioner, formerly The Mexicutioner on Feb 7, 2009 7:05 PM EST up reply actions

I just took Lauzon and Matt Riddle. Goot odd’s on Riddle and I think he’s gonna control Bruno to a UD.

by Ry Guy on Feb 7, 2009 3:55 PM EST reply actions

I’ll put it out there right now though. Wait till the week off, and then put your money on Jardine.
