UFC 94: "St. Pierre vs. Penn 2″ featuring the mega match between welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre and lightweight kingpin BJ Penn, will take place from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, live TONIGHT (January 31) at 10pm ET.
Uber-Maniac Adam G has spent the past few weeks compiling a documented record of MMAmania.com reader predictions for the main event between "Rush" and "The Prodigy."
What started as a small list of regular contributors has undergone a digital mitosis to become the massive collection it is today.
Now on record are the UFC 94 predictions for the "St. Pierre vs. Penn 2" main event as chosen by some of our site's finest posters.
And some of our not-so-finest.
Without further ado, Adam G gives us a glimpse into the inception of his list and how he plans to hold each and every one of you accountable following the bout.

Waiting for a bout of this quality and purity that carries such repercussions and aftershocks can lead you to do some pretty wild things while you wait in ever-growing anticipation. My case is NO exception to this fact.
Sitting here in my average rolling desk chair, waiting out these final weeks, turned days and days, turned hours to pass like sand through the hour glass, I've almost crossed the line of "Fandom" if that's even possible.

It started as a place I could go and check who-said-what about my favorite fighter BJ "The Prodigy" Penn and his upcoming Mega-Bout with Georges "Rush" St. Pierre in a rematch for the UFC Welterweight Championship on Jan 31 in Las Vegas.
Just a place to remember who I was gonna say "I told you so!" to when Penn got done licking GSP's blood off of his tiny UFC gloves. As well, it was a place I could mark down MMAmania friend predictions and detailed news on the fight when it was released. Kind of a Penn-Rush electronic safe if you will, I would store it all in my email to keep track of everything.
Now it has a life of its own and takes on all comers, friend or foe, Penn or GSP: YOU decide!
Over the past two weeks a list, no, much more than a list, a comprised pile of hopes and dreams regarding over 200 people's favorite two fighters has been assembled to help predict this epic crossing of champions we are about to walk upon tonight like deer in headlights.
Going over them all is a tough task to complete but doing so could lend you some impressive insight into the greatest MMA fight of our time, of your time, of all time!
Thank you all for participating and having a good time with this thing while we waited (even Holland and MANIA joined in the fun!). I just read this interview with Anderson Silva and they asked him if he thinks he is the best P4p fighter in the world? Anderson said NO!
The`y asked him who is, and he wouldnt say.
So the interviewer asked him, is it Fedor?
Anderson replied: NO

I was pulling for BJ, but in the back of my mind I just knew GSP would be too much for him to handle. GSP is a MACHINE! It made me sick that BJ didnt even get any good hits in. BJ just survived for as long as he could and thats it. Hope to see him back ay 155 and dominating!
PS….I think Alves is going to shock the world and hand GSP a KO loss….and I’m not just hating, Alves is a BAD dude, and if his takedown defense is getting better, BEWARE GSP…

Machida won me over tonight with his GREAT finish of Thiago! I truly believe Machida will take the belt and I don’t care if its Rashad or Rampage, Machida is the future of the 205. He is dedicated, patient, and takes fighitng very serious. I like this guy which is funny because I used to hate him like all the other drunks at the bar.

BJ Penn, or BJ BJ BJ BJ BJ, has he has become known in the Mania forums quit on the stool tonight folks. Sure GSP got caught by Matt Serra, but everyone gets caught in MMA eventually don’t they say? One thing is for sure, they do not say that “everyone quits on the stool eventually”.
To BJ Penn, thanks for talking more trash than the glad man, and thanks for finally realizing you were badly out classed and tucking you midget tail between your legs when the going got tough. If I may i’d like to, on behalf of all the Mania contributors who have been pro GSP from day one, invite you go into your bedroom, take off your shoes, lie on your bed, and take about 20 or 30 minutes to go F*&$ yourself!!!
To that guy (I forget your name) who said “I’ve been training MMA for a few years now and trust me BJ Penn IS prodigy” you sounded like a fool then and you are a proven fool now.
Along with many others I said BJ Penn had less chance of winning tonight than he did three years ago and I said he would not win a round. Not only did Miss Hawaii not win a round but he did not win a single minute of that fight!!!

What surprised me was BJ just seems hesitant the whole time. He respected GSP a bit too much. His boxing wasn’t crisp. His reflexes weren’t as sharp (getting hit with a Superman punch???) BJ did NOT seem mentally ready for that fight. He just needed to take it to GSP and he didn’t. BJ was absolutely outclassed and it’s sad for me as a major fan to see that happen. No excuses BJ, just take it out on Florians monkey face. (I love Florian too).

Nathan, I bow to your superior mma knowledge. I have never been more wrong in my life and I feel as humbled as The Prodigy who just got his butt thoroughly handed to him.
Here’s how I feel about it and it pains me to say it: BJ actually choked! He came out looking sluggish and nervous from the opening bell. There was no fire there at all. GSP utterly owned him like I’ve never seen a top fighter own another top fighter before.
BJ couldn’t pull the trigger. Where were his strikes? Nowhere to be found. Was GSP just that much quicker or did Penn freeze up under the glare of the biggest moment of his life. I think the latter. All he did was survive and take a beating.
I will say this about GSP: he just gets better and better and better and better. Also, he is a more honorable champion and a better representative of the sport of mixed martial arts. He engaged in none of the trash talking that BJ did, he conducted himself with honor and he did exactly what he said he would do: HE TOOK EVERYTHING FROM BJ PENN. HE TOOK HIS HEART AWAY.
GSP is now the #1 P4P in the world.
Who knows what will happen to BJ Penn? He may even retire, though I really hope not. He fought the worst fight of his life on the most important occasion. GSP ran right over him with ease. GSP kicked him out of the WW division. A career shattering loss for Penn and one can only wonder how he will recover. I feel truly sorry for him, but he made his own bed with all of the trash talking.
The best fighters in the world don’t talk trash: Fedor, Anderson Silva, Lyoto Machida and yes, the man himself: GSP. Congratulations to GSP and all of his fans. He proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is the superior fighter. He shut up BJ Penn once and for all.
So, I’m going to hang up my predictions. Nathan, as the one guy I was parrying most with, YOU WERE TOTALLY RIGHT and I WAS TOTALLY WRONG. GSP is the MAN and he could not have proved it more definitively.
Penn must not go back to Hilo and lick his wounds. He has been truly humbled. DId he not prepare enough or is he just not in GSP’s league? Perhaps a little of both, but I also think he choked, too, and that is even more crushing as a fan of his.
My only consolation was calling the Machida fight. Said it wouldn’t be close and that Machida would put him away. Machida will soon be on the P4P list. But for now, GSP is alone at the top. The complete mixed martial artist. And a humble deserving champion. He worked hard for it and he deserves the glory.
ALL HAIL GSP!!! BJ Penn, I hope you live to fight another day. But you got some serious soul searching to do.

GSP nuetralized Penns boxing by clinching and when the knees were thrown he was ready and hoked a leg but did not get a take down till round 2. Good game plan because after 1 round BJ is nearly out of gas. Penn jus t couldn’t mount any offense. He is an awesome lightweight and if he beats Florian and one more he will go down as te best lightweight ever but GSP is the best WW ever. If GSP beat thiago Alves he will get a shot at Anderson Silva and that will be the ultimate super fight. Thiago Alves should he win could get silva as well. Alves has a shot to beat GSP but that shot is about 23%.

I think that Thiago is going to be a harder fight for GSP. I am actually worried about that fight. I knew that this fight was a lock so I’ve only really thought about how GSP is going to do against Alves for a while now. Everyone had to know that GSP was going to throw BJ around even if you voted for BJ, they had to know he was going to get rag-dolled.

Maybe Thiago can pull the trigger like BJ couldn’t. He’s a big, hard hitting dude for WW, but I am NEVER BETTING AGAINST GSP AGAIN!
GSP just made me look like an idiot for thinking that Penn even had a chance in this, let alone me thinking Penn was going to KO him.
Why was BJ so tentative at the start? Was it because he realized that the guy across the cage WAS WAY MORE PREPARED FOR A WAR THAN HIM?
Watching the Primetime specials I tried to tell myself it was all hype. But seeing GSP getting ready with some of the best fighters in the world (Marquardt, Rashad, et al) while BJ was training with some relatively average dudes, had me desperately trying to deny logic.
GSP does everything right. What can you say? There is no substitute for preparation and he doesn’t lean back on his talent like Penn does and think that will be enough. I think BJ trained for this fight reasonably well, but he looked a little soft over in his corner, while GSP looked like a super athlete.
So much for the underdog, he just got tossed back in the kennel. What a letdown. I could live with a BJ loss if he at least brought the fire. He brought nothing. A lesson from the gods of mma in humility. I will try to apply the lesson in my own life.

Okay, this was a 1st class beating. I’ve never in my life, seen such a huge following, such a massive support for such a loser. And loser BJ Penn is. I would feel terrible saying that about a guy who lost a fight, a true honest-to-goodness fighter who got his ass handed to him, although, BJ completely asked for this. What a humiliating fact that penn has do deal with. I, for one, knew this was going to be a lopsided fight, I really could’nt understand how on Earth 49% of viewers were utterly taken by the “talk” of BJ Penn. He was literally “talk”. That’s it. I can’t believe how fucking stupid he is. Actually maybe not, he fuckin knew it all along. I’ve never seen an actual “no contest” actually take place. Wow.
