B.J. finallly gets another fight at 170 and he will again prove to be out of his weight class and a lesser athlete than GSP! He beat Sean Sherk and Joe Stevenson and he needs to fight Kenny Florian. I cannot believe he wants to defend his title after a second loss. Not a real long-term thinker is he!

I know Jesse always has a thread stating his predictions. But I think Mania needs to do one too. It is one of the biggest fights in MMA history, so it only seems appropriate.

Yeah and I know they always say “biggest fight in History”, but this fight has two aspects that really does make it the biggest fight to me.
—For one, this is a fight involving a reigning champion challenging another currently reigning champion, 2 currently reigning champions have never gone head to head before except for one other time in history if im not mistaken(Henderson/Wanderlei).
—And on TOP of that, these are 2 fighters going head to head that 90% of the MMA community can agree on are no less than top 5 P4P, in no particular rank.
Those are 2 characteristics that NO other fight in history has been able to boast until now, which is why to me, this really is a history making fight. The UFC can now really say “biggest fight in history”, although it will just make it all that much more rediculous when they try to say that about the next main event haha.

likely outcome: GSP TKO (GnP) somewhere past the 3rd round
if BJ wins – i see him working it like Joe Stevenson by rocking GSP with his boxing, somehow taking him to the ground and either subbing him out with an RNC or GNP
Altho unless he’s heavily rocked, i think GSP can muscle his way out of any trouble

The results are actually going along with other general polls (UFC fight poll, etc) roughly 65-70% for GSP is what seems to be the concensus in the MMA world for this fight, CRAZY!! Crazy that almost 70% of the MMA world is about to be silenced, til he calls out his next victim. . .

I thought the BJ segments on the prime time show were pretty lame. They don’t show much of BJ’s actual training. The ‘running of the rock’ or whatever it was called was a joke. You’re pretty buoyant in the water even if your carrying a 50 lb rock. It would have been a lot more impressive to run with that rock on land, up a steep incline!
